Let's pretend the brown rice in this jar is all the things you love to do, right? The sports you love to play, kicking it with the homies, video games, all that. Maybe you're more chill. You like to kick back with good book. Well, there it is. And this picture is all the time you have in one week, right? And let's not forget about all those responsibilities, right? They're not our favorite things to do in the world, but we got to get them done. like cleaning up after ourselves, paying those bills for the moms and dads out there. You know how it is. Before you know it, our week is stacking up. And we haven't even talked about my man Jesus yet. Yeah. What about Jesus? We've got plenty of things we got to do with him. What about praying? Yeah, we got to pray. We got to go to church. Yeah. Help out with the kids up there, man. I'm not missing out on that. And then we also got to read our Bible, right? We got to know our history. Whoa. Okay. I've run out of room. What if we went about this little differently and we prioritize God? See, Proverbs 3:6 out of the Living Bible says, "If we put God first, then our efforts will be crowned with success." Who wants their efforts to be crowned with success? Right? That sounds pretty cool. Okay, then let's take the Bible's advice and put him first. That's right. for all those other things, even our responsibilities. We're putting God first. Right now, what happens when we start to fill up our week with all those other things after we've already put God first? Let's see. Well, as you can see, we have plenty enough time for all those other things. And it looks like God's made little more room for new hobby.
