other communities and they don't have beautiful Masid like this and we don't have serious problems in the alhamdulillah small things here and there and but alhamdulillah everything is good I've been to all where they have fights and they have problems but alhamdulillah we don't have anything like this all these small things so we take care of them inallah so when you come to the Masid your visit will be enjoyable and everybody is happy they come to worship Allah subhana and their heart is Happy the mass are the finest and the best places on Earth and this is mentioned so in this beautiful it's in his book The is narrated by that the houses of Allah subhana on Earth are and the people who come to the mass they are the guests of Allah subhana tala then thei says blessed are those who purify themselves at home and come to the mash to pray then the Hadith says the ones who come to the Mas they are the guests of Allah subhana tala and Allah is the host so Allah subhana tala is the most hospitable host of his guests there's another that say that that say that the most blessed and the most honorable places on Earth are the mass and the worst are the markets he took care of the for example it's famous in and Muslim that woman used to clean the Masid and the prophet didn't see her for few days he said what happened they said she passed away and we buried her so the prophet wish you told me at the time of Jan so go and pray Jan for her to honor her services to the Mas so they said she passed away at night we didn't want to disturb you and we wanted to do the janaz the funeral right away so we bur her at night so the prophet went to her grave and he prayed for her so one day theh saw on the somebody's on the when somebody has FLW and they spit so this is what someone did on the so the prophet was not very happy about this woman from Al came and she scrapped it off she cleaned it and she put mist or perfume in that place so when the prophet saw this he was so happy and he said this is very good thing I'm happy this is very good so to that extent the prophet liked the to be clean and now imagine the message of the proph was not fancy like ours they didn't have carpets or anything of that kind no fans no no lights nothing it was only sand and maybe leaves and all these things but still the prophet wanted the to be clean now some of the General ad showing respect to the Masid does not begin from the prayer area like this one or even from the entrance or the bathrooms or even the parking lots showing respect to the mid begins with the neighbors okay because know sometimes some of us and I've heard the complaints that some people when they come to the mid they Park far away and they don't wait to cross the street they just jump so somebody is driving you're not thinking about anything then bunch of people jump in front of the car what's going on here Geneva and it happens all the time or when somebody you know Parks their car walking somebody's driveway one of the neighbors or maybe in Ramadan when we leave and some people are excited they are happy we talk very loud or some of our youth they stay outside they play soccer and they stream at night and we're talking about 1: in the morning and the neighbors they don't have to pray or they just sleep from like 6:00 7 p.m. they go to bed early so in the middle of the night they hear someone screaming outside so we disturb them and now imagine there are so manyi that talk about honoring and respecting your neighbor and being good to them now we're not talking about your neighbor we're talking about the neighbors of Allah these are the neighbors of Allah they're not Muslim but they are his neighbors okay so we should show them the kindness and we show them what Islam is all about then we move closer we come to the parking lot now sometimes when go to for shopping and park my car in front of Fresco or Walmart or any other shopping place you compare this the parking situation there to our parking situation here sometimes some people they take the handicap spot and they are not even handicapped do it there and inah you will get ticket $2,000 not sure how much it is but they they will hit your pocket very hard some people they they they they Park blocking other cars so some of the brothers or sisters when they finish they have to go to work they have to wait for half an hour so the brother for the sister can come and remove their cars and we have to make announcements all the time so people block the Fire some people block the entrance and it happens sometimes if something happens bad and there's an ambulance somebody needs medical attention the ambulance can't come in because somebody's walking away and alhamdulillah now we're getting more parking spaces so this wouldn't be problem in the future inah but at least make sure when you park you don't block other people so they can go to work right after the Sal then when you come to the Mas there's something that see that I've never seen in any other place of worship as soon as you come in you feel like there's shoes on sale or there's the The Shoe Fair you see shoes like seat of shoes in front of you it is not problem anymore but still we see few here and there but it used to be very bad long time ago come and you see shoes everywhere some of the older brothers and sisters they walk with can or with the Walker they can't walk because of all the shoes and we all them to stumble and fall down so please inah when you come in and please make sure you put your shoes on the shoe act to make everybody's life easy also when people go to the washrooms some of the people we're not going to get into details about urinating standing up or sitting down the there but the whole point is make sure in that the person keeps in place clean before they leave because in Islam you leave the place better than what it was okay some of the people they just leave it no flushing they throw toilet paper on the floor and and all these things okay and this is not this is not acceptable people go there and they see this and they don't feel comfortable so please in make everybody feel comfortable when they go there to for so these are some of the General ad to so there are many in the of the Prophet that talk about making people feel comfortable in in the there also the so the says if people go to the to worship Allah subhana tala where the name of Allah subhana tala is honored so the word used in the Ayah says that the place itself should be honored so for example the prophet says in that you shouldn't hurt people's hearing you shouldn't raise your voice when you talk know we complain all the time because kids keep screaming in and jumping around and running around but adults when they talk sometimes they forgive themselves and they raise their voice and people are are praying soon now or they can't read Quran okay because sometimes we're not thinking we're just we're just doing it there's was so he was sitting in the corner and some people were praying each one was praying separately and some of them were reciting Quran and everybody raising their voice so the prophet came out to them and said know that you are communicating with Allah subhana but please don't raise your voice because you are disturbing one another and you are making each other or one another lose your focus in this is so in was in the in minina and we asked Allah subhana to give us and to give us visit to the prophet in Medina so couple of people they started to raise their voice in the Mas so called them come here where are you from they said we from hundreds of miles away we're not from here so he said if you were from the people of Medina would have given you would have fixed you up you know you raise your voice in the Mas and you disturb the prophet in in the Mas and of course this was after the the death of the Prophet so she you not allowed to raise your voice in the so this with regards to disturbing people and their ears okay people need to focus and they come to the meas so they come focus and worship Allah for sure Allah so we spoke about hurting people's ears now people's eyes some people some of the youth especially aldah they come to the Masid it's very good thing but sometimes they come with pictures on their BS Michael Jackson whatever Justin Bieber so when you are praying and you see these figures in front of you you can't focus for one second in the Salah we spoke about this before some people they come and they're hanging pants they make you see my God can't what is this you can't focus in the Salah so you are disturbing the people in their Salah so make sure when you come to the Salah you're not wearing something with pictures or images on them and you make sure the pants are tight so people can focus in their Sal hurting people's noses know some people they come straight from work they work in construction or farming and know the sweat in the summer is very disturbing to some people some people smoke some people eat onion and garlic and the prophet wasam said in many if you do something like this especially with the garlic and the onion don't don't even come to the he's saying basically remove this smell or the so make sure in if someone has this condition they come before they come to the Masid they use perfume or they brush your teeth you make sure that you smell good so you don't disturb people especially in big gatherings and in the summer otherwise you're standing in the line and you hear people choking and they can't breathe and people are falling down and collapsing in the in the light and you don't know what is going on you are the reason why they are falling down so make sure in people are comfortable in their Sal the last point want to mention is disturbing people emotionally and this happens sometimes will give couple of examples number one when you come to the Masid you come early before Salah and you start talking about other people and said before the mid is not built for this because if you want to talk about other people and backbite them well Tim Horton is there you can go there drink coffee and talk about other people but here in the Mas this is not the place the Masid is for remember remembering Allah and studying or making Salah and all these things so you don't come all the way you drive you come in the Heat or in the water or just to to lose your rewards because you want to talk about other people there's this in so one of the be pleased with him he was he he Mas and he was beaten like dog so after they left the prophet walked with them and they came across the corpse the dead body of donkey so the prophet wasam told this man who who spoke about he said would you please go and eat from the Flesh of this donkey so he said who can do this so the prophet said you just ate the Flesh of your brother ni by talking badly about him the last Point which is related to hurting people psychologically know that we come from different places and Muslims alhamdulillah are the most diverse community in the whole world you go to other places of worship you only see one kind of people you go to the US there are white churches there are black churches and so on and so forth but here alhamdulillah we see people from everywhere it's like the United Nations of Islam okay you see people from Africa from Asia from Europe from everywhere so sometimes we do this naturally without thinking you see someone from your culture you're standing with brother then you see another brother from your own culture and you start to talk with your brother from your own culture in your own language alienating and excluding the brother who is from different culture who doesn't speak your language so he's standing there like he doesn't know like his SCC he doesn't know what is going on and the prophet said in we do this all the time we do it naturally without thinking but it hurts people they feel alienated they feel they don't belong they they feel they are other so the so the he says in there are three of you don't let two of you talk alienating the third because this will hurt him or hurt her and this happens all the time we ask Allah subhana to forgive us give us the best in and the best in Allah for
