today is our Market day so in social studies we've been learning about all things economics so buying and selling goods and services producers consumers and so as culminating project students had to make their own good at home they picked price with their bear bucks which they earn with good behavior at school and they're selling it to their classmates so this is great opportunity for them to learn about being both producer and the consumer I'm selling paper airplanes because they cost 10 band blocks they made bracelets we made like 12 but some people went and came chilling so that's why only have like few more less I'm selling coloring books and think that people will like them because was thinking and did not know what to get and my mom came up with Tyler's books so decided to draw some cool pictures this year we have lot of origami which thought was really interesting we have some stress balls bracelets are always favorite bookmarks paper airplanes which are always huge hits especially around recess we have some cute little winter animals and snowmen out of pom-poms they were really creative this year was very proud of them my favorite part is watching them make that first sale because they worked really hard on that product for couple of weeks and seeing that their classmates actually want to buy the thing they've worked hard on and then seeing them earn those bear bucks they just have the biggest smile on their face they're so proud of themselves and think that's just the best part
