to study and to write books, hundreds and hundreds of books. Maybe if we can count will be like hundreds of volumes up to now. We in our lives and 40 years, 30 years, even 50, 60 years. We can't even write one thesis properly, right? You know, we can't even write our thesis properly. Me, made did my PhD. thesis only after studying like 3 years four subjects 12 subjects 13 subjects took around 3 years to write my thesis around 300 pages 400 pages but seem how Allah subhana wa ta'ala bless him and his time and his effort in propag in propagating this de of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he wrote like volumes and volumes hundred thousands of pages Subhan Allah. And he said before him there was another great scholar by the name of he passed away 643 history. mean before by 20 30 years and he was also great scholar from Chev school of thought. Now we are not saying this just to say we are we have great scholars you are you don't have great scholars. No that's not the point. My point is just to give you brief introduction to our scholars. So he tried to compile those hadith that fall under jaw. Jawhal means that the hadith is short but it has so many meanings inside even one hadith if you want to write one commentary it can be one book. So that's the meaning of it means that in simple term the hadith is short not too long it's not like lengthy lengthy hadith but the meaning inside for example hadith in the first hadith of fourth hadith compiled by if you want to talk about this hadith only you can write one book you can write one book so this is one of good qualities that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bestows upon our prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam we call it say was made special beyond other in this regard this they this and one of the regards is Allah subhana wa ta'ala he bestows upon the ability to say short statement but that statement even though it is short it has lengthy deep meanings in that hadith. So imbu if I'm not mistaken he compiled around 26 hadith and these hadith are considered like pillars of Islam too in every field like in iada like in jihad like in doing good to your parents like in moral in your faith these hadith are considered as penis to this field And he came and he said saw so many books before so many scholars they wrote 40 hadithes like Abdahbar Abdah Mubarak is one of our great scholars even he has his own before he passed away if I'm not mistaken 75 no 181 history after Alikham Alik he passed away 179 So Abdullah he is one of our great scholars in in the same time he is mujah he is mujah he's he is warrior so he wrote 40 hades is not like wrote mean from his pocket no book so he compiled or he carefully collects the hadith ofam concerning jihad. So he saw so many scholars compiling 40 hadithes. So he said will do inshallah something which is more beneficial. will choose for each field or for each topic one or two hades. So it won't be on jihad only. It will not be on doing good to your parents only. it will not be on for example prayer or fasting or reading al Quran only but inshallah will carefully pick one or two hadith that will serve this topic that I'm going to render in my my 40 hades so the first hadith if you see his book al written by Alawi alawi written by Alawi written by Ali. He would begin his book with what? With this hadith. So your actions are according to your ny. Your ny is your intention and you will be rewarded according to your intention. That's the essence of this hadith. The hadith is longer than this. for this is the complete hadith. But the word hadith revolves around Bkari same methodology same system when he wrote his book he began his book with age with when he wrote if I'm not mistaken one hadith collection written by he began his with this hadith. So our scholars they said it is to highlight the importance of nya. Why? Because of ya you can go to the jah of Allah subhana wa ta'ala to the heaven to the paradise of Allah subhanana wa ta'ala even though you do nothing in your life even though you do nothing in your life for example there is one hadith one guy he just accepted Islam and after that he went to jihad and he was killed in the jihadam said he just accepted Islam He's new in Islam but he got so many rewards. Why? Because of his nia. The ny behind jihad is to make sure that the dean of Allah subhana wa ta'ala the religion of Allah subhana wa ta'ala becomes becomes general that everyone accept the dean of Allah subhana wa ta'ala in jihad is not to show that you are brave. It's not to show that you are strong. No, that's not the that's not the wisdom behind jihad. That's not the that's not the reason behind jihad. The reason is to make sure that the works of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala are at the highest place at the highest level that people come to de of Allah subhanana wa ta'ala people worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala people believe in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala only people do not ascribe anything else besides Allah subhanana wa ta'ala to be regarded as as god beside Allah subhanana wa ta'ala so because of the Even though he just accepted Islam, he was rewarded in abundance. He just accepted Islam. But you know what happened in another hadith? Authentic. There are three types of people. They did great jobs and works during their lifetime. their lifestyles but that jobs that works weren't because of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so Allah subhanana wa ta'ala will bring them in front of Allah subhana wa ta'ala during the day of judgment Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will ask them about his and bounties during their lifetime didn't give you this didn't give you that they said yes Allah you did give us this and that Allah subhana wa tala asked them how did you use the that gave to you the the warrior the mujah he said use the you gave me to strive in the path of Allah subhana wa ta'ala to spread your word to spread your religion Allah subhanaa tala says you lied you didn't do it because of me you did what you did that because you want to hear from people that you are mashallah very brave mujah very brave warrior strong man that's the that's the thing that we want to see we want to hear and we heard that one the word the praise from people Allah subhana wa ta'ala asked the Mallayka ordered the maleka to drag him with his face on the earth and to be thrown into the hellfire of Allah subhana wa tala What else? Someone who strive in the path of Allah subhana wa ta'ala leaving his families, his business, his wealth going far far to the four corners of the world. mean battling with in the in the battlefield with with his own nerves his own soul whether he can be saved or maybe maybe he will be killed in the in the battlefield but because the intention is the intention is wrong the intention is not pure not because of Allah subhana wa ta'ala so when is the where is the final destination The final destination is the healthare of Allah subhana wa tala. The second type of people, someone who is very wealthy, we can say he has everything in his life. Allah subhana wa ta'ala asked him about his bounties upon him and he said yes Allah you gave me this and that. And Allah subhana wa ta'ala asked him how did you use the bounties that gave to you? He said use in the avenues of good. feed people. build madrasa. build masjid. help poor. help those who are in need. And he start saying sing. Allah subhana wa tala said kadat you are liar. You lied. You did that. So people can call you mashallah. don't know how to say in English. What's the word? generous. you are generous mall generous guy. That's all what we want to hear. That's all what we want to hear in our lives. People say it. People say mashallah. Mashallah. The rich guy during the month of Ramadan. He gave millions maybe hundred of thousands this and that forar for subhan Allah. He got nothing in written just people had praised you and he become contented. So Allah subhana wa ta'ala he ordered the Malika to drag him with his face on the ground and ordered him ordered the Mallaya to throw him into the fire the hellfire of Allah subhana wa tala may Allah subhanaa tala protect us all and the third guy who is mashallah Allah subhana wa ta'ala bestowed upon him and knowledge of Quran he knows many things this stuff this and that. So Allah subhana wa ta'ala asked him, "Didn't give you this, this, this?" He said, "Yes, ya Allah, what did you do?" He said, teach Quran. teach hadith. teach remind people this and that." Allah subhana wa tala said, "You are liar. You like you did that not because of me. Just people will call you mashallah. Mashallah very knowledgeable mashallah mashallah if we have any difficulty if we have any problem in our community we will not do we will not decide anything unless we go to him unless we ask for his opinion. So people praise you mah we have to go to him we have to ask him he is the most knowledgeable amongst us and people praise you. You hurt that one and you become content with that one. So Allah subhana wa ta'ala ordered the Malika to drag him with his face on the ground and ordered the Malika to throw him into the hellfire of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. See greatal great works great jobs what happened into the hellfire of Allah subhana tala because of because of that they used to say Sometimes we did only small thing in our eyes. small thing maybe one one $1 one or maybe 100 yen nothing but we did it because of Allah subhana wa ta'ala to seek the pleasure of Allah subhana wa t'ala only not to brag and that is what we can do for example we are not rich we to struggle have so many difficulties we are struggling in our lives but we did it because of Allah subhana wa tala for example during the day of we give some sal to show off to people and great jobs, great works like we mentioned in the hadith before giving charity, teaching, Islamic and beneficial knowledge. But where is the final destination? The hell fire of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Why? Because of me. So may Allah subhana wa ta'ala grant us the understanding whatever we do in this dunya we do because of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala not to please others because of that especially in this month of Ramadan he highlights these qualities we do something because of im and we do something because we hope for the reward of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Ramadan Ramadan two different hadithes. Why? Because in the month of Ramadan we normally tend to do many many actions good deeds and people we see for example we come to we come to masid for five daily prayers giving lectures teaching Quran teaching giving food helping people for what this is our test. We will test you who is the best in terms of amongst you. We are doing things not to please others. We are doing things to please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And there are so many hadith sallallahu alaihi wasallam he said during the day of judgment those who meet Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala with greatal good deeds actions Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will tell them in kjo get lost go and ask for your reward from those who you were making your to please them or to show off to them go and ask for your reward from them why you come to me. So may Allah subhana wa ta'ala give us give us this understanding bestow upon us this understanding so that our will not become like the flying dust during the during the day of judgment. We think mashallah during the whole month of Ramadan 40 years, 50 years, 60 years, giving charity this and that, we think that our book of deeds will be filled with good deeds. But when we see may Allah subhanaa tala protect us all, not to make us from the losers, not to make us from those who are at great loss when we go back to Allah subhana wa tala. Why? Because of the ny the nya is not solely purely for Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala. So because of that our scholars like they always begin their books with may Allah subhana wa tala accept us all. And we still have few minutes left before thear time. It is mubarak time, blessed time to make dua for ourselves, for our family members, for our parents, for our Muslim brothers and sisters, who are still alive and those who already passed away. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept us all. There is nothing more important than the acceptance of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. our when they ask for advice from their when they want to go to Hajj or in Mubarak place like Mecca Medina mean what should we ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala for why not like one one one statement like unified statement by all the ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala for his acceptance Allah Allah accept us. Allah accept us. If Allah subhana wa ta'ala accepts us, we are the victors. He was suffering.
