Today I'm in Azerbaijan, heading for nearby area called Gobustan we will see one of the oldest landmarks known for mankind and we will go to another place, where we will see mud volcanoes join me in this adventure now let's follow the group It will take you approximately one hour from Baku city to reach Gobustan where you will see 2 important sites, historically and naturally the first site is mud volcanoes now we reached Gobustan City and here are the Lada cars that we should take to reach the mud lavas, volcanoes, honestly don't know what to call it only for 20 manat because ordinary cars can't reach due to the roughness of the road The ride is just something else The cars are old, the drivers drive very fast on the rough roads which they memorized each pump/ hole in it it just feels like rally it takes you 20 minutes to reach the volcanos' area this natural phenomenon that witnessed for the first time in my life Azerbaijan is known for this phenomenon it has 300 of the 700 volcanoes across the world every couple of seconds, bubbles erupt full of Methane gas from the bottom of the earth the mud is known for its therapeutic abilities for the skin that's why you can see people swim in it but sadly, wasn't prepared for such experience this place is amazing, its the first time for me to see such phenomenon the mud volcanoes are erupting from the earth and it's bursting Honestly, don't know, it feels strange and beautiful, its the first time for me to see it the mud volcano created more than one small plateau everywhere here ok, let me try putting my finger in here very cold not true volcano thought there's volcano, lava, but not what expected after seeing the volcanoes we returned back in the same cars and we headed to Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape this place was inhabited by humans during the stone age approximately, 6 thousand drawings were found on the cave walls painted by the humans who lived during that era this drawing shows dogs following pig and it indicated that during that era they started using dogs for hunting purposes the two sites were extremely interesting for me may you travel more often bye!
