First let me explain you two different routes that you can take for this journey. Bahin to Salala by road there are two options available. The difference between both is just 13 km. If you choose Rup Alkali route Bahin to Salala distance is approximately 1,920 km. You have to cross two borders Saudi and Omani border. Refueling one tank in Bahin one near Batha border and after Bha border routi route will start and second refuel will be after 260 km before border crossing to Oman. This way is not familyfriendly. More prone to sandstorm, high-speed winds, two-way road, extremely dangerous as you have to overtake trucks. Second option is going through UAE 1,933 km. And this is what choose. You have to cross three borders, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Amani border. But the route has many services, rest area, fuel station, restaurants. And once you enter UAE, you can drive at speed of 160 to 140 km/ hour. Follow speed limits as the way is filled with traffic cameras and traffic fines are coming to Bahrain. Make sure to follow me my so before any trip the ritual is to get karak tea. So first we'll go and fill our bottles with kurak tea and then we'll move towards the border. Kids they want shawarma. So we'll take shawarma from here. Now the time is 8:14. This is our luggage. We have ice box. This is the cool box. We have two box in which medicines are there and kids stuff is there. Then we have two big bags, stroller and we have car power charges and everything. First thing what I'm going to do is I'll make my autometer zero. So we will know exactly from Bahrain all the way to Salala and back to Bahrain how much we have driven the car. This is fuel injection cleaner basically for mileage and good throttle response. The first fuel station here in Bahrain before we move out. Stay fuel was for 6.5. Asalamu alaykum guys. So today now we are in the car and the luggage is all back and my ham baby is he has washing and he has been aware. We are going in road trip right now. The time is 900 p.m. and we just came for the insurance. have got my insurance done. In this video I'll be giving you every information all information that can give you so that if you're going for the first time it's going to be extremely easy for you. So now have got insurance for 2 weeks and this costed me 14 dinar 400. If you need insurance for 1 week it costs around 10 dinar 400 fills. So think just three dinar difference to get two weeks. So for safety we have taken insurance for 2 week and make sure your car detail everything is correct because if you have any mistake over here when you enter Oman they will check it. And another thing you can book this online as well but wanted physical copy that's why took it from here. It didn't take much time, just 2 minutes. So now let's go and cross the border. My name is Amina and we go in Dubai. All right, you in the morning. We have just stopped on the causeway right next to the mosque because my kids want to go to the washroom. So it's much better they go washroom over here. And after that once we clear the customs, we are not going to stop. And it's so humid. The temperature is around 39 40° right now at night. And the humidity because of humidity the real feel is 52. Imagine 52 at the night. So let's begin this exciting journey. We'll pray here Aisha and leave. Ganiman are you ready? Yeah. We are going to travel. Yeah. So now Ganim has set up his bed already because it's 9:30. We are still in Bahrain. But show me Ganim, how's your bed? like this. So one of them maybe Ghanim will sleep up, Amina will sleep down or opposite Amina will sleep up down and Hamdan with one of them. Are you ready? Right now the time is 9:52 and we are still here on the causeway and we didn't finish our customs. Exactly at 10:00 p.m. we cleared the causeway, we cleared the customs and started driving and now the time is 11:00. So overall from Bahrain we have driven now 96 kilmters and this is the first fuel station which will come on the way and after this directly you will find fuel station near the Sva border. This is actually new fuel station on this new way and because of our long breaks till we reach Nisa it will become around morning 10 or 11:00. So let's see if we maybe if we feel really sleepy we'll find some hotel and sleep there on the way because it's night cannot show you so much scene from the outside but I'll try to push how muchever can for that have got even my red bull and even have correct tea which showed you in the starting did not drink that tea as well this is brand new fuel station which is on the way to Salva Ver so you can see over here there are so many correct shops even there is some garage place restaurant and over there we'll go and buy some stuff. This is the area you can refuel. Even there is tire shop. Right now the time is 11:48 and the temperature is around 40° and it's extremely humid. Now want to show you two things over here. Now want to show you the light setup which have done for my car especially because we are going to Salala and over there it's going to be extremely foggy and in fog the yellow light reaches more depth. That's why we can have clear visibility when we have yellow light in front of us. So now will off my flashlight and show you the lighting setup which have in the front. Soothing for the eye. It won't strain your eye for long trip. Especially when we have 20 hours of drive. This is the best setup that have got. When I'll go outside, will when I'll step out of the car, will show you how it looks from outside. One very stupid thing happened. the place which showed you the fuel station once went to the toilet over there and came back my ID cards the cards it's like my passport you know it fell from the car and actually four we are five so we had five ID cards so four of the cards got one could not find was so terrified was scared you know was like maybe left it at the customs or where did it fall searched whole car couldn't get but then luckily my wife she got down and within one minute she figured out where the card was. it was under my seat. So, alhamdulillah, we got the card and thanked Allah subh so much that thank God that card did not get lost or it didn't go. It was Amina's card and it was big mess because without that we cannot even either enter to Oman or we cannot even go back to Bahrain. So, alhamdulillah we got that card back. Then went and got snacks. we got some croissaw, we got some juice. Amina got her juice. Ghanim likes Doritos so he got Doritos for himself and then we started driving again and we are back on the road. One of the biggest challenge traveling with kids is that they make so much noise but you have to be very patient towards Bata border which will be in UAE. 200 km is left. So by 2:00 we should reach there and then the roads are going to be really good once we enter in UAE. It is going to be absolutely bright and we'll enjoy driving and want to make this video extremely informative. want to keep talking and engaging with you guys. So now this is our second fuel station fuel stop. The time right now is 12:38 and mashallah mashallah my car is giving me amazing mileage. We have driven almost 248 km from Bahrain and still our tank is almost more than half and we had more than 450. The main reason why within the half tank itself I'm refueling again is because it's summer time and we need to keep our fuel pump cool. This is my first refuel here in Soi and 95 premium cost is 2.350 halala and 91 is 2.2 but we are refilling 95 right now from half tank. felt almost 33. Humidity is crazy. think from Bahin now we are almost 250 km far but the humidity is insane. This place has all supermarkets, places to eat, restaurants. This is the fuel station and this is the beast setup. So told you the two fog lights in the front. This is purely yellow for fogs. That two on the top it can turn into white and yellow. already have Red Bull with me. I'll just go and get some chip because the time right now is 12:50 a.m. and have to drive long way. don't want to stop. We have almost driven think more than 300 kilometers and the road alhamdulillah is very good. Now we are going towards Bata border which is think very near think maybe another 8 kilometers or something it will come. So this is the condition of the road. It's nice. Ghanim has slept up. Amina is sleeping down. Bata border. The border through which we'll enter UAE is just 5 km away. So this is the fuel station. We'll refuel our petrol full because fuel in UAE is expensive. And if we drive at this speed, we can easily cross into Aman and again refuel over there. So let's see now. have driven 122 km from the last fuel station. have mileage of 460 km - 60 like around 400 my car will go in this speed but we'll refuel from here 95 octane and inshallah we'll cross into UAE and from there onwards we'll get better roads roads will have lights look at my tint it's so dark 5 kilometers from here but border so this is that fuel station let me show you we are refueling 95 alhamdulill Finally, we have cleared UAE customs and we have officially entered in UAE and now almost 800 kilometers is left to reach Niswa. Means we'll reach Niswa in morning. Right now the time is 2:46 a.m. in the morning and the temperature is showing around 33° but it is extremely humid. The real field is around 52° here in UAE. Now we have 300 km straight drive. Continue driving. Alhamdulillah. Till now don't feel sleepy at all. feel all energetic. And now will drink my Red Bull. Let's see till where can push myself and if we if feel tired I'll find hotel and we will sleep. And the best thing about this road is we can drive at the speed of 160 km per hour. But won't go that speed. I'll keep the speed at 1:30 or 1:40 maximum now because the car is on from 8:00 when left in Bahrain. So don't want too much pressure on the car as well. Time right now is 4:00 a.m. in the morning. We have completed around 558 kilometer all the way from Bahrain. Right now we are in UAE. have driven around 172 km from the last fuel station which was in Saudi Arabia. So will refuel my car over here again. This is the Adnok fuel station here in UAE. That's why if you want to visit Salala, the best way is to go through UAE because you'll find so many service stations, so many good fuel stop and you can drive at 160 km/h. Then over here you have some fast food. This SFC is like fried chicken type of thing. See on the opposite road you have the fuel station and right over here you have fuel station. Here they have two type of fuel available. 95 and 98 and it is on an expensive side. I'll go there and show you what is the pricing of the fuel in UAE. Mashallah the beast was driving all the way from Bahin. started this car at 8:00 in the evening and now the time is around 4:00. So mashallah it has been driving lot. just wanted to give it bit rest. Let the oil cool down then again we'll begin our journey. Now guys, if you want to go to Salala all the way from UAE passing through Alain, so the fuel tank which you refuel in Saudi Arabia is enough for you to reach at Oman. But the thing right now the weather is so hot, it's important for you to keep your fuel pump cool and the time you always keep your fuel full or above half. That's the time when your fuel pump is in comfortable situation because the fuel will be on top and it will remain cool. There will be less stress on the fuel pump. See, right now was driving at the speed of 160 because that's the legal speed over here. Almost 90 Bull is extremely important for such crazy long trips. That's why I'm having this Red Bull. Now I'm driving whole night. So started driving at 8:00. 10:00 we cleared the Saudi border and now the time is 5:00 is Bahin time. Right now the time in UAE is 6:00 and this is my first Red Bull. Before that the corrective which took was drinking that because we are in UAE the speed limit is 160 km per hour and that's what you can see on my dash. We are cruising at 160 km per hour. This is the thing that love about UAE. You can drive as fast as you want. You know, it depends on your car. If your car can go at 160, just drive it. That's the reason you have to choose UAE because Rupal Khali road is very difficult to drive. There are very harsh winds. There are no fuel station. But the UAE road is completely opposite. The route is smooth. The road is smooth. You can drive at 160 km/h speed. There are so many fuel station, rest areas. Everything is there on this road. So now want to discuss very important point guys. So if you want to travel from Bahrain all the way to Salala or if you're traveling from Iraq, if you're traveling from Kuwait, if you're traveling from Bahrain and if you're traveling from Qatar, you have two options. So the first option which you have is crossing only two borders. One is the Saudi Arabia border and then you enter directly Aman. This is through the Rub Alkhali route. So if you are choosing the Rub Alkhali route, you'll only have to cross Saudi border and then you'll enter into Oman side. But the problem over here is once you reach near the Bata region, you will refill your petrol over there and then after that for 280 km there is no fuel station until you enter Oman. So that is one concern. Second thing, Rupal Alhali road does not have any service lines, any service area. There are no fuel stations. So this is big problem. And second thing, it's in the middle of the desert and the roads over there are filled with sands and sand dunes. Maybe sometime you're driving at speed of 100 kilometers and suddenly you will see there is so much sand. There is chance of accident. There is chance your car might get flipped or there is chance that your car might get stuck in the sand. And the second option is the option which I'm going to take and I'm driving on that route and this is the best option if you're going with your family. But here you'll have to cross three borders. So you'll have to cross Saudi border then you'll have to enter into UAE and then exit UAE and enter into Oman. So basically you'll cross three border. But the advantage over here is once you have left Bahrain, you will be taking the half moon beachside route and over there there is even new fuel station which we have seen this time. So basically you'll have fuel station in between and then when you enter to the Bata side you will enter into UAE and UAE roads are absolutely smooth. First thing you can drive at the speed of 160 km per hour which is blessing. Second thing there is light throughout the road like when entered UAE till here you can see the poles of light and there is light. Third thing the fuel station are very clean for the family and you will have peace of mind when you're going to these stations because over there there are so many shops. You can even have dinner over there or lunch over there depending on the time when you're driving at that route. That's why have chosen this route and it is really very safe because if you'll drive on the Rupal Alkhali route it is two-side route means on the same road one lane the car is going in front and one lane the car is coming on the opposite side and this becomes very risky because if god forbids driver on the other side sleeps he's going to directly come and hit you which is big mess. That's why always choose route which is double lane. So this lane all the four lanes over here going forward and from there it's going to the other side this is the much this is the much better option. So guys that was the important information about two different routes which you can choose to reach to Salala. Now another important thing is about the sim. So first thing that you can do is which am doing is have air allo sim. Now the advantage of air all Aloe Eim is that from Bahin itself you can activate the SIM for Saudi Arabia. You can activate the SIM for UAE, you can activate SIM for Oman. It means the moment you reach the border of Saudi Arabia, you can just on your Saudi Arabia SIM. The moment you reach Oman or UAE border, you can off the Saudi Arabia SIM and on your UAE SIM. So right now my UA SIM is on. So don't have any tension to get down on any fuel station and buy physical sim and pay and air aloe prices are very good. It's almost the same price for every region going towards Alen and once you're coming all the way from UAE straight you're going towards Abu Dhabi over there you have to take right turn. So this is the right turn that we have to take when crossing in into Alain. You can see the board over there on the top. It says alhamdulillah the kids just woke up now and they had good nap. So they slept around 1:00 at night. Now the time is 6. So basically five or less than 5 hours they slept and now Hanim will tell from his side what's happening. Guys no don't tell that. Hi guys. This is Alen area and this is filled with trees and greenery and this is really beautiful place. Till now we did not get any rain. And another good thing about this place too is the speed limit. The speed limit is 160 km per hour. And from here the Oman border is almost think 80 km is left. So once we will go to Aman, we will refuel over there because the fuel in UAE is expensive and on Oman it will be much cheaper. So think we can easily reach the range is showing 190 kilometers. This is the toilet in UAE. This is Zen and they are clean toilets. They have liquid soap even they have tissues. So in UI it's much cleaner. This is the condition of King Kong. I'm feeling like got to go hotel because this is the first day we going to cher was so sleepy so sleep down. Now we're going to hotel right now. The time is 8:00 a.m. and we are just about to cross the Maziad border and enter Oman. So once you're coming through Alain, you have to reach the Maziad border of Sultarat of Aman. In front of me, you can see there is fuel station. This is Adno fuel station. But we'll not refill here. We'll cross Maziad border and we will go into Aman and refill from there. So will show you now the border process what is happening over there. I'll keep my phone on the stand and let's see what happens. So, alhamdulillah in morning the border was empty and the process was extremely smooth. We just gave our IDs and we cleared our customs and now we officially entered in Oman and once you cross the border within three or within two or 3 kilometers there is fuel station. As you can see right in front of us there is Almaha fuel station. So we'll go there and refuel our tank. This is the first fuel station in Oman and the fuel price for 95 octane is 239 and for 91 it is 229. So it's better to put 239. Got refuelled 14.5 real and 60 We started driving at night 8:00. Now the time is 9:30 Omani time but Bahrain time is 8:30. So from 12 hours 12 and 1/2 hours I'm driving and till now have driven 877 kilm and this is the King Kong. love my and this is my Aad. The first petrol station in Oman which we went just showed you now went in the grocery shop and asked for the SIM but that guy was selling SIM for so expensive. He was charging 10 Baharini dinar or 100 sa realal for just 10 GB data. So was like this is so expensive and he was not even having Oman tell. He was having some orido some other brand you know which is not good because many of many people who visited Oman they said take Oman tell. So that's why did not buy because my one of my friend he got the sim he came in July and there was an offer and he got the sim for five Omani real and he got some 20 GB data. That's why did not pick sim from there. Now I'm going nua towards my hotel which is around 250 km away. If get good sim good deal over there will inform you about it. Otherwise I'm having my air alo sim which is excellent. just started it over here and it's working like fab. Second thing is we are heading towards Niswa. Now we will go and search hotel over there have rest and then tomorrow morning we'll start our drive towards Salala the land of waterfalls. And guys yesterday night had that shawarma which showed you in the vlog. That's it. We did not eat anything. And now we reached here in Oman. We are not finding any good restaurants on the way. It's all like empty barren land. So on the fuel station asked guy where can get some good food, some Arabic food or Pakistani or Indian food. So he was like have to drive another 70 kilometers or 100 kilome before find good restaurant. So we did not have any breakfast. We are just on chips juice. drank Red Bull coffee. That's it. We did not eat croissaw and that cake. That cake was delicious. So we ate that. nothing much. And now the temperature is 42°. It's so hot and it's so humid. And we want this beast, mashallah, my king Kong, to rest, have some peace. So tomorrow there is another big day. And hopefully we will get to see some rain. We'll get to see some fog, some coolness, and some greenery. We are fed up of seeing all this desert and yellowish thing and dead land. We need to see some life. What do you say, Amina? will go to the hotel and eat something tasty. Hungry. What do you want to eat? want to eat food. Then will eat sweets. sweets. Yes. You want to eat chicken or meat or fish? What do you want to eat? Chicken. So, once we reach hotel, what do you want to eat? will for eat hot dog and chicken, meat, French fries, kebab and me. That's lot. Just tell me one thing you want to eat. eat sit. What do you want to eat? Hot dog. Hot dog. Okay. And do you want to eat some sweets? Nah. Sweet is stupid. ice cream is stupid. Nah, feel good. Now we are here in Oman and feel as if we have came back in time. Phone booth over here. This was like classic thing. Damn. And it's still in working condition. So from the time we have entered in Oman, we are looking for good restaurant. But till now have driven 160 km and we did not find any good restaurant on the way. Right now the time is 11:22 and the temperature is almost 45°. extremely hot. The thing is in between we got after 70 or 80 kilometers there was small city where there was Lulu hypermarket. Ramas was there but the thing was the restaurants around there it was on the way so many restaurants which we were seeing it was just written restaurant and when we were approaching them it was like broken abandoned building. And another thing which we feel felt was as if we came back in time as showed you you know that old phone was there you know old phone booth which people used to use back in time they used to put that card or coins and make call so that was over there and all buildings are you know old and broken and it feels like so old it feels like as if I'm back in 1970s or 1960s you know in that time we have traveled and so many restaurants were of that shape of that building type and it was abandoned. So got one restaurant which was next to that phone booth and asked him do you have any fresh food? He was like he's having some chicken chicken and beef curry. So was like is it fresh? He's like no it's from night. So now we have such long distance to travel like to salala and if we eat like you know food which is not fresh it's going to screw our stomach. So that's why we avoided that food. kids are also hungry till Nisua 100 kilometer is left. So we are thinking we'll just go Niswa and eat food over there because that is even touristic place and rest you can see this is the way. On the left you can see mountain. It's nothing interesting at all. hope we reach Salala soon and we see that greenery which makes our heart cool. So guys, yesterday woke up first at 7:00. Then was like, I'm feeling tired. I'm going to sleep 7:00 a.m. Then slept till 9:00. Then again woke up and we didn't have any plan to travel. We wanted to go to Dubai. So we didn't have any plan. So then at 2:00 woke up and by 5:30 we made plan that let's go to Dubai, you know. And then suddenly that plan turned into let's go to Salala now. So woke up at 2. So from 2 till today afternoon 2 it will be like 24 hours right? So now it's not 24 hours. Now it is 10:30. From 20 hours I'm awake. did not sleep and I'm just driving like started at night 8 and today morning 8 already 12 hours was done driving continuously nonstop. did not take nap or anything. Alhamdulillah the kids they are sleeping but didn't sleep at all. And I'm giving you as much information as can in this video. So, hope you guys are enjoying the vlog. We on the way. We going to eat food. We will find the hotel. Then we will eat the food. will tell you what will eat. will eat hot dog, French fries, chicken, nuggets. Then will eat sweets. Ice cream, juice, sweet. That's it. Bye. So guys, from the first fuel station in Oman, now drove almost 220 kilometer and I'm refilling at this petrol station. Atrial 33 will pay cash. Okay, bro. No, cash. We'll go and search hotel. And one reason of searching hotel is because so many time on booking.com you see hotel which is actually not how it looks like. That's why we'll go check hotel and then make it done. And see this is the condition of the car now after driving all the night. Finally, we reached our hotel in Nisa. Right now, the time is 2:00 p.m. and the temperature is 46°. It is extremely hot. Welcome to Nizwa, Oman. Do you know the old streets of Niswah are intentionally narrow and winding. These tight roads were designed centuries ago to provide shade from the hot Omani sun, reduce the impact of desert winds and protect the city from invaders. Walking through Niswa's narrow alley and driving from here feels stepping back into the time and experiencing authentic Omani heritage. So this is the hotel which we booked. Its name is Niswa Residence. It is nice and clean hotel. So this is the hotel Niswa Residence. So guys, this is our hotel. Next to that there is restaurant. This is Turkish restaurant and this is pretty much the area. think that is some battery shop and did and there is think some cafeteria over there and if you go from here you take left, you can go directly to the Niswa fort. This hotel costed me 20 BD and they'll be giving us bed set for the kids. So, alhamdulillah it's good because today we just want to take shower, relax and sleep and direct tomorrow by 7 or 8 a.m. we have to leave the hotel to go to Salala. This is the hotel. This is the restaurant. Green chicken. hummus. This is the hotel from inside. This is the lobby. Alhamdulillah, we came to our room and this is the room. We got double bed. There is even sofa and for kids, they will bring another bed. And this is the toilet. So, we have long area. There is shower area and this. So this room costed me 20 Omani real. And over here they have given us fridge. This is our ice box which we'll fill. This is TV and AC. Mashallah. AC is cold. Bismillah. This is our room and this is the food which got from the restaurant which showed you. This is biryani rice and this is half grilled chicken. And it costed me four bahini dinar or four ammani real. And this room as told you it costed me 20 Omani real. So just have to get eat food, get fresh, sleep and early morning we'll start the drive. So tomorrow's vlog is very important because tomorrow we'll begin our journey from Niswa all the way to Salala. So will be sharing all exciting information. The hotel which we will be taking, it will be full of information. So see you in the next vlog. If you have watched the video till end, make sure to like, subscribe, and share it with your friends. So, make sure to hit the bell icon. Now, the time is 400 p.m. woke up yesterday at 2:00 p.m. And then till now, didn't sleep. It's been 26 hours. did not sleep. But kas because tomorrow we have to drive till Sala. have to wake up at 6:00. By 7:00 we have to be ready. And by 7:00 we have to be on the road. So am going to sleep. Good night. See you in tomorrow's vlog. So guys, after 2 hours we woke up because Ghanim and Amina because Ghanim and Amina did not let me sleep and just slept for 2 hours. So bismillah this is kebab we had taken. With that we have hummus. Then we have pure orange juice. And this is going to be our dinner. How's the taste, Amina? Good. It's nice. Yes. Which is the best kebab lam or shawarma or juice or what did you like? Sha and juice. Sharma and juice. And what did you like? love kebab. love And see for you. got we even have pizza. Half grilled chicken and also pizza. And favorite one. How the pizza the taste is very delicious. This is Turkish restaurant. paid for this meal 7 Omani rial which is around 7 bahini dinar and we will climb the mountain and we will see the whole waterfall. Tomorrow hanim we have to drive 8 to 9 hours. So inshallah if we will eat quickly now and sleep on time then we'll wake up by 4 in fajger or 5. We'll pray our fajar prayer and then we'll leave by 5. Then we can reach on time. We can reach on time. We can find our hotel. We can stay in the hotel and maybe explore bit of Salala. Okay. And loved their chicken grilled chicken. The taste is really good, very flavorful. And even the meat kebab is also very good. So this one will rate it 9 out of 10. And the chicken 10 out of 10.
