Hey guys, welcome back or welcome to my channel. And today I'm going to be showing you guys how to make Coyote Theory mask for beginners with limited materials. On my first beginner mask tutorial video, said whatever the top comment was will be the next tutorial. And this person's comment was the top one, so let's make it. Here's all the ingredients you'll be needing. First, get some cardboard and trace this shape onto it. Make sure it's big enough to cover your face. After that, cut it out. recommend folding in half and then cutting it so that both sides are even. Here's how it should look. Next, bend it like this so that the cardboard is more pliable and easier to work with. Then, cut out only one of the eyes. After that, fold it in half again and trace the shape of the eye onto the other side of the mask like this. Then, cut it out. Here's how it should look so far. Next, you're going to fold in half again and cut out triangle-shaped piece. Then, overlap both sides and glue them together. We're doing this to run out the top of the mask. Next, get another piece of cardboard that's three cuts in the middle like this. Then, glue it onto the mask. Here's how it should look. Off camera, made it bit longer. Then make cut into the end of it. Overlap both halves and glue them together. Once dried, cut off this extra bit and mark out the shape you want the snout to be. After that, cut it out. Here's how it should look so far. After that, we're going to be building up the shape of the mask. Just cut out all the same pieces out of cardboard and copy where I'm putting them. Next, get another piece of cardboard to trace the shape of the ear. Then cut it out. Remember to bend it so that's more pliable. After that, flip the ear over onto the cardboard and trace it. Then cut it out and bend it once again. Next, glue the ears onto the mask. Here's how it should look. Next, we're going to be felting the mask. I'm going to be using fleece, but you can also use felt, fabric, and even fur. On the screen, have pattern on how glue it on. I'd recommend following it if you have trouble with felting. Once fully glued, cut off the extra fabric, Leaving bit of border here. I'm cutting off the extra fabric around the ears and gluing it down. After that, put evenly space cuts next to the border of the fabric you left. Then, glue the flaps down onto the back of the mask. Here's how it should look. Next, using scissors, cut the fabric in the eye to make this pattern. Then, glue down the flaps. Now, just do the other eye. Here's how it should look. Next, we're going to felt the back of the ears. Start off by adding line of hot glue down the middle to attach the fabric. Then, glue down each side. After that, cut off the extra fabric, leaving border like earlier. Here's how it should look. Now just do the other ear. Here's how it should look once both are done. Next, glue down that fabric border onto the inside of the ear like this. Do this with both ears. Here's how it should look. Next, we're making the nose. For this, I'm just building up layers of hot glue onto this now till it looks like 3D nose. Here's how it should look. Next, we're painting. First, start off with light yellow around the eyes. Then, make rusty orange color for the snout and forehead. Here I'm adding some more of that yellow around the ears forgot earlier. Then using gray paint the rest of the mask. Here I'm using my finger to blend the colors to give it that airbrush look. Next, make darker orange. Add some details. Here, I'm adding bit more gray onto the snout. After that, make darker gray for some more details. Now paint the back of the ears using that same orange from earlier. Next, make dark brown to paint the inside the ears with. Lastly, using some black, add the eyeliner, paint the nose, and add whisker marks. Here's how it should look. Now, just let it dry overnight. Next, add the elastic. After that, we're going to be adding our fur to the mask. Since lot of people might not have access to faux fur, I'm going to be using some felt as replacement. To make it look more realistic, I'm adding cuts into it. Now just do the same thing with the other ear. Here's how it should look. Now just add some felt to the other sides of the mask using the same technique from earlier. and now it's finished. Here's how it should look. Thank you guys so much for watching.
