Cutting a Via or Contempra Folding Door

it is important to have masking tape fine tooth hacksaw and measuring tape to trim your via or contempora style doors you can use fine sandpaper to smooth any rough edges after cutting be sure to cut your door from the bottom of the panels fold the panels together and mark the amount that you need to cut from the door use an adequate amount of masking tape at the location marked the masking tape will secure the panels together and act as an initial barrier between the hacksaw and the panel when cutting once again measure the amount you need to trim from the bottom of the door and make clear mark on the masking tape use your fine tooth hacksaw to make the cut through all panels at the location marked remove the tape and continue with installing your door
