Im a very slow reader heres how I deal with it

hello my name is Hugo and welcome back to my Channel today I'm gonna do different kind of video I'm just gonna talk about something that is important to me so am very slow reader notice it even more when now that I'm reading so much with Emma with Emily and just notice difference and ever since got an unbooktube noticed it lot too when people are saying like yeah right nine months didn't read lot today but met sorry yeah read nine books didn't read lot this month because and I'm like nine books in month that's like two week at least and during the pandemic spent hours reading day but still wouldn't be able to read more than two books week which two books week yeah it's not bad at all obviously but the amount of time spent reading it should be more than that so discovered that am very slow reader and that's not necessarily bad thing or something should feel bad about or whatever but it is annoying whatever you say about it it's still annoying for me because got all these books want to read them want to get to them but knowing that 500 page book is gonna take me days and days of reading hours day it's hard and it's hard to just start that so that's why wanted to make this video maybe to just reach out to some other slow readers out there and not feel alone in it and also to just give some tips of how deal with it so the way deal with it's gonna be short video guys don't worry the way deal with it is read Comics more too now so discovered that and that helps because get to finish books quicker which is nice feeling and then the second thing do is choose to read easier books or shorter books because then get to finish them quicker too and then the third thing and probably the best thing do is try to find audiobooks while read like audiobooks from the books I'm reading so another issue have can't just listen to audiobooks because don't take in the information it just leaves my head immediately and have to like stare at my screen or stare at my phone or radio or whatever to really just focus on the narrating of the story to take the story in can't have an audiobook on while I'm driving or while I'm cleaning or doing the dishes or whatever because then just don't take in the information which is really annoying but what do do is have the audiobook like let's say don't have any books here have comic books let's say I'm reading well of Ascension right it's fairly long book it would take me weeks to finish that if only read couple hours day so what would do is read the book while have the audiobook I'm speed times 2 or 2.5 or something and just follow along and that way get to read faster than actually can because when like hear someone reading it to me in faster way than normally read go faster obviously so and it's also nice because then get to see like all right to finish this book need 3.5 more hours like three hours and 43 minutes like on the minute can see how much more need so that's also very nice way yeah that's all like told you it's gonna be short video but just let me know are you slow reader are you fast reader let me know because I'm curious like is it 50 50 of people or am just unlucky guess so let me know what do you do when you want to read more books but you can't because you'll read slow let me know that all of that down below thank you for watching like And subscribe and I'll see you in the next one bye
