The Postman strategy is an active learning strategy where students move around the classroom to deliver and receive questions, answers, or messages. Students act like postmen which makes learning fun, interactive and energetic. Objective to increase student engagement and movement to encourage communication and cooperation to improve understanding through sharing ideas. To make learning active and enjoyable. What we need? Cards or papers with questions or tasks. Envelopes or small boxes. Optional. Space to move around the classroom. Timer or clock. Clear instructions from the teacher. Steps to apply. Step one, the teacher prepares questions or tasks and places them in envelopes or cards. Step two, students are divided into small groups. Step three, one student from each group is chosen as the postman. Step four, the postman delivers question or message to another group. Step five, the group reads, discusses, and writes the answer together. Step six, the postman collects the answer and returns it to the teacher or delivers it to another group.
