foreign my name is Phil Phil the elephant would like to talk to you today about writing Arabic words using the Arabic alphabet did you know that in Arabic when writing word the letters join together it's like friends holding hands and when writing in Arabic the letters may have to change their shapes little bit to make room for the other letters in word in today's lesson we're going to learn what the pink letters will look like at the beginning of word in the middle of word or at the end of word do you remember the pink letters remember that we learned the pink letters all have the same shape except for their dots they are bare and noon ba has one dot at the bottom ter has two dots on top Fair has three dots on top and noon is little more curvy than the rest of the pink letters and has one dot on top the pink letters will always have the same shape whether they are at the beginning of word in the middle of the word or at the end of the word and we can only know which letter It Is by looking at how many dots it has and where the dots are so let us practice the shape of the pink lettuce is just one line that goes down across and up when the pink lettuce come at the beginning of word their shape will stop halfway through to make space for the next letter like this down and little bit across and it stops there and now there is space for another letter to join let's look at it again down and across so if we see this shape at the beginning of word and it has one dot at the bottom then we know its letter that's right and if this shape has two dots on top then we know it's letter that's right and if the shape has three dots on top then we know it's letter good job and if this shape at the beginning of word has one dot on top then we know its letter known very good letters come in the middle of the word they need to make space to join the letter before them and their letter after them so in the middle of the word the shape of the pink letters changes it just becomes one straight line going down and it makes space to join the letter before and join the letter after like this let's look at it again down join the letter before and the letter after it so it's just one straight line so if we see one straight line in the middle of word with one dot at the bottom then it's letter bye and if the straight line in the middle of the word has two dots on top then it's letter and if the straight line has three dots on top its letter very good and if we see straight line in the middle of the word and it has one dot on top then it's letter noon very good and now let's look at the pink letters when they come at the end of the word when pink letters are at the end of the word they don't need to change their shape they just need to make space and join the letter before them so the shape will be the same down across and up and join the letter before let's look at it again down across and up and joined the letter before so if we see the shape at the end of an Arabic word and it has one dot at the bottom it's letter and if it has two dots on top it's letter and if it has three dots on top is letter there and if it's little bit curvy and has one dot on top it's letter noon very good so now we have learned what the pink letters would look like at the beginning of the word down and across in the middle of the word down and at the end of the word down across and up and did you hear that Somebody's knocking at the door think the pink letters have guest let's see who it is let's open the door to see who the guest of the pink letters is it's letter yeah did you know that letter ya would look exactly the same as the pink letters if it comes at the beginning of the word or in the middle of the word but remember letter ya has two dots at the bottom letter ya has two dots at the bottom so if we see this shape at the beginning of the word down and across and it has two dots at the bottom it's letter and if we see this shape in the middle of the word down two dots at the bottom it's letter yeah very good and let's look at letter yeah when it comes at the end of the word when letter ya is at the end of the word it doesn't change the shape very much it just moves down little bit like this and it joins the letter before it and remember letter ya always has two dots at the bottom and now let's look at some Arabic words that are written only with the pink letters and their guess letter letter yeah first we have better next we have noon ba tear this word reads nebeta let's look at another one bear yeah this word reads bait which means house one more tear yeah noon and this word reads TI which is very healthy fruit for you to eat it's fig and now you have learned how to join the pink letters and their guest letter letter ya to form Arabic words it's important to keep practicing the shapes of these letters and you can do that by going back to the start of this video and practicing over and over again so you never confuse them and I'll see you in my future videos subscribe to my channel so you can learn with fulfill
