The Noble Quran was revealed in that era and that culture And talked about scientific and cosmic issues in more than thousand verses Here comes the important point If this book were from other than Allah, it would have conveyed to us the culture of that era with all its scientific myths And we would have today clear scientific errors But surprisingly, atheists -with all their attacks against Islam today- could not find single verse that contradicts single proven scientific issue This alone is proof for every atheist that Quranic text is divine How can book came 1400 years ago contain more than thousand verses that deal with scientific issues?! Atheists cannot find single contradiction in them "And if it had been from other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction" It is even more surprising that the proven scientific issues are biased towards the Noble Quran The Noble Quran is not only religious text, but it also mentions scientific issues Some of these issues were not previously mentioned by science, thought, or philosophy These issues were only recently discovered In this episode we will mention four scientific issues that were only recently discovered The Noble Quran mentioned them 1400 years ago First issue: People were thinking that water is the origin and source of this universe This conception was agreed upon by the Sumerian, Babylonian, Canaanite and Pharaonic myths This was the culture of the Middle East Primeval water is the first material of creation (according to their belief) In the Sumerian myth, we find that "Nammu" is the source of this universe "Nammu" literally means primeval water, water is the source of this universe In the Babylonian myth, "Tiamat" is the water from which this world came The same conception is also found in the Pharaonic myth Nun (water) is the source of this universe In the Canaanite myth, the primeval water (Yam) This same notion was found in the myths of India and Japan This was the culture of ancient times Even biblical interpreters have conveyed this same notion that water is the origin of this universe Greek philosophers were following this same path Water is the source of the universe, as Thales of Miletus said This was the culture of the world at that time Then the Noble Quran was revealed to Muhammad (PBUH) and told us that the universe was smoke, not water "Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke" Smoke confirms that the origin of this universe is flaming object, not lake of water The universe came from flaming object This is knowledge that was said only by modern science And no one said it before except the Quran Those stars were smoke before they appear The substance of those orbits in the sky is smoke, not water "Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke" Smoke is the gaseous density resulting from burning or exploding object This is exactly the scientific description of the beginning of the universe, stars, and orbits You could say that we are made of the smoke of the Big Bang We were made of smoke Cosmic smoke is still present until now It condenses in order for the stars to appear So, it is scientifically-proven issue As the Herschel Space Observatory website says: What we call "cosmic dust", the more correct noun of it is "smoke" This is the exclusive Quranic description of the origin of the universe that no one said it before Quran It is made of smoke, not water wonder how atheists patch their atheism! feel their sorrow while trying to find any way to obliterate the proofs of this religion But rather they only obliterate their hearts! The truth is not affected, no matter how you patch the falsehood around it, even with thousand patches Truth will remain true, falsehood will remain false Second miracle: Our Lord Almighty said: "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are its expander" The basis of Einstein's general relativity is that the sky is constructed Yes, the sky is constructed! And space-time (Intertwining of space and time) forms real fabric on which celestial bodies rotates This is what Einstein himself said in his paper on general relativity, which he wrote in 1916 He literally said: The sky is not just space! It is not just screen in which celestial bodies appear Rather, the sky is an infrastructure The sky is an infrastructure This is literally Einstein's words Infrastructure affected by energy and mass So the sky is built, and this is proven scientific issue In 2016, hundred years after Einstein's paper, the rippling of gravitational waves on the fabric of space-time have already been discovered This discovery won the 2017 Nobel Prize in Physics The sky is not screen nor space, as we might imagine by direct view But rather, it's construction "And the heaven We constructed with strength" Let's complete the verse "And indeed, We are its expander" Does the sky expand? Until Einstein's time, people were thinking that the sky is static, neither shrinks nor expands Static universe They thought that universe is static, neither shrinks nor expands Even Einstein himself supported this notion that the universe is static But in 1929 there was surprise that changed our view of the universe forever Science has discovered that the universe expands, the sky expands This amazing discovery was spotted by Hubble Telescope Today, this discovery is considered proven scientific issue There is Hubble's Law to measure the amount of expansion So this is an unquestionable issue scientifically, astrophysicist Andrew Liddle says Einstein admitted that the notion of static non-expanding universe was the greatest scientific mistake he had ever made While the Noble Quran came infallible 1400 years ago "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are its expander" Quranic news that science discovered only few years ago Fourth miracle: One of the proven scientific issues is that when the sun rays fall on the earth in the morning, they heat up the surface of the earth So, the heat of the earth is transferred to the air in contact with it This air heats up and expands, its pressure decreases, and it moves upward And it's replaced by air from the upper layers This air that moves up arises from the respiration of all living creatures overnight So this amazing phenomenon occurs in the morning This air is replaced by another fresh air This process is scientifically known as convection currents or ascending thermal currents As if the Earth is like huge lung that breathes every morning The Noble Quran mentioned this impressive scientific issue with clear statement Our Lord Almighty said: "And by the morning when it breathes" This is literally what happens The Earth breathes every morning just like living creatures It expels the air containing carbon dioxide and this air is replaced by fresh air In the next episode, Allah willing, we will talk about other verses and new proofs of the validity of this religion Peace be upon you "We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth" "But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, Witness?"
