The UAE Fujairah port has been hit and there's been damage that is being assessed. This is according to people familiar talking to Bloomberg. So we'll look for further details on this. Let's go to Bloomberg Horizons Middle East and Africa anchor Joumanna Bercetche, who's in Dubai. Any thoughts on this,? Because, of course, the Port of Fujairah had been taking on outsize importance of late. And there's lot of focus on any kind of attacks on infrastructure that are for the energy markets. Yeah, absolutely. It is one of the most important refueling hubs that around the world, very strategic ports for the UAE as well. And should say that it's on the eastern side of the Strait of Hormuz. So it's after the Strait of Hormuz on the Gulf of Oman. But if these reports are true, and indeed Bloomberg's sources are indicating that this port has been hit again, that the damage is still being assessed, This would be the second such strike on the same port over the course of the weekend. Another strike took place on Saturday. It caused significant amount of fire, limited damage, because by the end of the weekend the port had resumed operating. But this would be second attempted strike if indeed confirms we don't have formal notice yet from the Fujairah media office. But think, you know, taking it in light of the most recent developments in the region, you have to recall that on Saturday morning the US struck Kharg Islands, which is an extremely important strategic site for Iran. 90% of its oil gets processed through there. Now, even though the US specifically struck military infrastructure, not oil infrastructure, the reaction from Iran came very swiftly and they said that any non US assets in the UAE could now be deemed targets because in their esteem they believe that the US launched those strikes from the UAE. This is claim that has been rebuffed by the UAE authorities over the course of the weekend, saying that it is not founded in logic and yet throughout the course of the last couple of days we've seen Fujairah targeted this morning, also an incident around Dubai International Airport. The fuel depot was hit as well. It briefly led to the suspension of flights, air travel disrupted. Once again, though, things have resumed. Now it just tells you that things are not intensifying or de-escalating. And even though President Trump signaled over the weekend that Iran are willing to negotiate, we actually had commentary from the Iranian foreign minister. He gave an interview to CBS last night saying that they are not ready at all for ceasefire. They're not ready to come to the negotiating table. And at the same time, they recognize that they still have very strong leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, despite the Trump administration's efforts to do what they can to reopen the strait. So we're still very much in the standoff position between the US and Iran as the conflict continues to escalate and even strike non US assets around the UAE.
