How to Create an Interactive Quiz in PowerPoint To Make Your Presentation More Engaging

welcome to slide uplift today we'll learn how to create this engaging interactive quiz in PowerPoint that's game show themed in this quiz presentation each slide has question and four options each incorrect option is then marked as red with the correct option revealed using green at the end to make this interactive quiz presentation first add background click on insert picture and choose this device then select your background image and click insert next we'll add shape for our question open the shapes drop down menu and select hexagon extend the shape's width by dragging it like this then open the format shape menu under shape options open the fill menu and select solid fill change the color and adjust transparency to about 50% in the line menu change the line color to match your shape's color then increase the width to two points now it's time to add options add another hexagon resize and adjust it now change its transparency about 70% then duplicate it using contrl do this two more time so you have total of four small hexagons on your screen let's add another smaller hexagon in the first option resize and position it then duplicate it and repeat the process for the other three options now it's time to add text in the shapes menu select text box and paste your question here change the font to pop in semi bolt increase its font size so the text fits the Box arrange the text by repositioning it then add in text boxes for your options as well don't forget to mark them as and next right click on the slide in the menu select duplicate slides we want to keep two slides per question one for entry animations and one for reveal animations replace the options and questions on each slide and reposition the text repeat until you have two slides for each question we have total of six slides for three questions it's time to add entry animations once you've added in the questions and answers on each slide go to the first slide of the first question select the questions shape and text and group them using contrl next open the animations tab choose wipe in effect options select from let Set delay and duration to 050 now use the same grouping technique for each option then select it and add the fade animation set start as with previous And Delay as 1.0 repeat this for all options for each option add an additional 0.50 to the previous options delay this will make each option show up one after the other here's what each animated slide will look like now it's time for the fun bit revealing the answer open the second slide of the first question and select option shape click on animations and fill color we're changing the color to Red since this isn't the right option now select the bigger hexagon and in the animations tab pick line color set it to match the options fill color animation set it to start with previous animation you can select the shape and use the reorder animation option to move it earlier or later when animating the right answers use green instead of red this way you can make sure that each question's correct option is revealed at the end repeat this for all options on the slide and voila you've created functional interactive quiz presentation on PowerPoint here's what the end result looks like if you found this video helpful don't forget to like share and subscribe to slide up lift you can check out our channel for more PowerPoint tutorials
