but real quick hit that subscribe button for more content like this coming at you alright so fake ray-bans is real problem huge problem there's lot of counterfeit stuff going on out there in the world and ray-bans being such an iconic big brand is one of those cuff it's almost like flattery what is it imitation is the best source of flattery but yeah when you're finding 2 million dollars worth of fake ray-bans and truck and arresting people it's not so funny yeah so this video is to kind of help you figure out basically how not to get fake ray-bans or how not to get tricked into buying fake ray-bans or why it's not good idea to buy fake Romantics thank for that it's also illegal I'm sure yeah selling was probably more illegal yeah it's illegal this is so anyways so yeah I've gotten I'm impressed with how good the face of God yeah one of these year that we have ISM very slight down yeah they're getting they're getting really good at making fake ray-bans so my first tip is if it's too good to be true guess what it's not true if you're finding links for $15 ray-bans if your friend that you've never seen since high school facebook page got hacked with $10 ray-bans and $5 Oakley's those aren't real obviously banana should be obvious but those are all going to be fake think all the ones we did for this experiment were like under 20 bucks that cost us and these are you know 150 dollars ish glasses so be cautious of the price mean sometimes people are getting scammed and paying real prices right and getting fake stuff so maybe you know that first book it's not for you but just be careful where you're buying them from if it's like real shady sounding place then it's probably Shady make sure you tip twos like an authorized dealer make sure it's an authorized dealer you can check with grape and if somebody's an authorized dealer they'll say authorized dealer the hub legitimate photos and they'll have you know lot of reviews and it'll be kind of like real popular place and won't be like it you know the equivalent of corner stand kind of place it'll be like real legit place so check out something like that okay so once you get them in your hands how can you tell if they're fake or not so like check out these boxes first of all this is the real box this is the fake box my gosh that's like super similar yes and know that that's not correct looking logo or SKU because tag is wrong button but the tag is wrong but mean the colors little bit off it's but man man did they they got pretty close on the box so would say kind of hard to tell yeah the real one has got slight difference it's got more so would say metallic but also the look the fake ones lot more matted and the the real ones little more metallic look if you don't have the other one to compare it to yeah that's kind of hard but maybe that's why you're watching this video so that's kind of one phase next phase is the case and again on the case they did really good job the logo is little bit more matte on the real one and little more shiny here so they kind of like inversed it this shouldn't be 90 and that should be matte but pretty pretty closes it up the ray-ban right on the button does have rebound on the button yeah so that that's pretty good and then the inside yeah it's so good but when you start to get into the paperwork there's some kind of differences so you're gonna get an authentic Ray Ban cloth think that one's got we have lock off but then where where they lost it little bit of some of this weird weird stuff yeah - and Lomb Bausch and Lomb hasn't been making ray-bans for like 25 years no you have option law that's wrong unless feel really really really yeah you're like traitor like your grandfather used to have her something but even then guarantee they probably don't have this anymore cuz I'll be long gone yeah there's also this Chinese tag yeah doesn't look right it's actually concern the fact that it's made in Italy yes yes that's probably bad thing and then had some paperwork I'd never seen before this thing yeah what is that well it came with club master and this is all about the Wayfarer colourize Wayfarer another signal that something could be wrong okay so then let's look at some of the glasses lot of iconic ray-bans have glass lenses not all of them but lot of them do this won't scratch real glass migraine but you can hear this that's glass this is plastic so glass is going to be definitely like it's kind of obvious when it's plastic it's like it doesn't have the same you can kind of feel the weight of the glass weight makes big difference so you'll notice that on the ting of the glass so the glasses when they're authentic real ray-bans are gonna feel it's hard to understand this but it feels like quality like their weight proportion everything smooth everything's quiet when you get into some of these fakes like they just like the hinges don't want to open it yeah yeah like they're just they feel more plasticky than acetate acetates like different type of resin material than plastic that one's really bad that one's pretty obvious some of them are pretty good though think the club master is very similar but you know what will say the very first noticeable difference though is the sticker is different the real sticker are metallic and shiny yeah here's real one right the fake sticker is matted okay on this one super super fake one of the stickers also smaller okay but that's the first difference noticed was this one's little more shiny metallic and the fake one is matted now on the inside they got the numbers correct which is pretty cool mean yeah went to some detail here but they're kind of off they're kind of thicker everything that the the stamping is just not in the exact right place it's just kind of not done with care the etching on the lenses is that one actually have yeah they actually have the etching on the lenses are be right here yeah and then the white logo on the top of the lens yeah so pretty close like that one would be hard to tell but then on the nose pads they use like they try to make it look like this vintage nose man we're on the club master is just clear nose pad don't think that nose pads very popular except for on some custom shooters or some limited editions yeah yeah so that kind of nose pads gonna throw you off but man like on the wayfarer easier just cheap looking light we kind of just like the logos kind of rubbing off already like this ones are obvious they did much better job with the club master so hopefully that's starting to kind of get it for you for me if you've got pair from what you thought was legit place and paid real money for them that's where start to feel kind of horrible check with ray-ban if it's an authorized dealer for sure yeah so my other topic is if they look that good yeah and that one was 20 bucks and these are hundred and something bucks why well sticking with you know ray-bans all about americana authenticity then you're getting fake ray-ban it's kind of weird to me but also quality wise on the lenses is gonna be huge difference so these are hundred percent UV glass lenses super hard to scratch unbelievable clarity the optics the clarity the color of the lens is superb when you put on fake ones everything's little blurry little hazy little dusty they're using the cheapest plastic lens they can have would bet that almost all of them are not UV protected which is really problems if you put dark lens over your eyes no matter what you'd be protected or not your pupil opens up little bit more because now everything's darker so now with the fake ones you're letting in more bad light quicker because your people to open up so it's just it's like terrible thing headaches optics are horrible obviously the frames not gonna last very long and there's no warranty because it's not real Ray Ban so another fake how can you guarantee it just like said how can you guarantee that they are gonna be hundred cent UV protective without the real ones you can guarantee that go through an testing to make sure that they're actually doing their job so those are some points hopefully that helps you figure it out the fakes are getting really good out there so wish we had like check for this and it was 100% not fake but you got to kind of look really closely and again my biggest piece of
