just finished these awesome second grade projects want to talk about it because it was easy to set up they all knew exactly what to do and they learn ton of skills in this project they learned how to play with texture tools they learned how to slip and score and of course use templates what's great is only had to set up six stations and kind of got feel for what it was going to take through the project but the kids got really great Feel For What took to put the project together now each table group created one as team they all learned how to do it now this group that I'm about to have did actually struggle with the initial team one but today I'm going to lead them through how to do their own individual one if you're struggling with Clay like getting kids to finish and really know what to do and feeling like you're pulled in Thousand and One Directions try doing it as team groups you don't label them don't worry about that don't worry about all the little Logistics you're just literally working on the process here's one that's starting to dry really nice job they learn how to mold it so this is what they're making these clay flowers and they add texture to each petal they learn how to score and slip they learn how to create mold we didn't label any of these cuz we did these as table groups and my plan for them is to number one have them for some examples that students have actually done but also to gift them custodians cafeteria workers it's great way for the kids to give it back to the community follow this for more because I'm going to share with you how to do this project what the project is of course but what really want you to take away are the strategies that I'm using with my kids order one of these Baker's cart this is from regular kitchen supply love it and you can arrange the shelves have two of these
