Curriculum Quick Look Evan Moor Skill Sharpeners Reading

hi everyone welcome to the channel wanted to give you look and chew the seven more skill sharpeners reading and yes this is first grade book and yes we haven't done it and let me explain why part of what the design of this book is that the child does the reading and because some of our attention issues and because of some of our sensory issues we are not super strong reading house and when looked at the second grade curriculum it was hard and so there wasn't really middle ground between the ease of first grade and the challenge of second grade and have learned in the past that it is just easier to let it be slightly easy for them so that she can build confidence and work up to those challenge things the way that it's laid out is that there is story and then there is few different worksheets as what caught my eye about this curriculum as found it on enough fellow YouTube channel is that once you get into the second grade it feels more like literature curriculum than it does reading comprehension supplement and really liked that especially because once we get past second grade am going to start needing to look for something more reading and literature based so because our hooked and phonics is almost done and because there's only one there's only one more year left of our hooked on phonics and then we move on and so got that and went ahead and decided to get this first grade we are going to start this over the summer and only haven't started it yet because I've wanted to show you guys the the new copy there's lot of bright colorful pages none of them have to be reproduced like some of those old school even more challenge pages it's really kind of fun one one thing that really liked about the back is that this book comes with tracking form so each of the topics you have each of the topics here like of the story if you can call it that at this level they're very simple and then you have the pages to check off of the worksheets that go along with that story and thought that was really nice touch for this and am looking forward to going through this with my daughter and so this is the Evan more skills sharpeners reading grade one if you like this if you like finding curriculum highlights like this or if you want to find out what we what worked for us for first grade or what we will be doing with for our second grade year please be sure to click that Bell notification below and follow along on our channel every Wednesday and the bonus videos sometimes occasionally on Fridays comment down below if you know anything about this curriculum it's sure is new to me tell me what you like to use for reading for reading comprehension and if you have good literature curriculum that you like even if it is for higher grade starts at higher grade level please leave your comment down below telling you what it is am on the hunt for great literature curriculums to review and to look through and that is one of the in my next pieces to look at thank you for watching everybody and tune in next time see you later bye
