Assalamu alaykum. Today we will learn about the mosque, the place where Muslims pray and worship Allah. Let's understand what happens in mushid and how we should behave there. mosque is place where Musims pray five times every day. It is peaceful and special place for worship. The Arabic word for mosque is masid. Every masid is built for remembering Allah. When it is time for salah, the muazing calls out the adhan from the masid. The adhan invites Muslims to come and pray. In big masids, you will find many water taps in one place. These are for Muslims to make woodoo before praying. When entering the masid, we should step in with our right foot first and say the dua. In the name of Allah and prayers and peace be upon Allah's messenger. Allah, open the gates of your mercy for me. You should remove your shoes or sandals before entering the prayer hall. Most masjids have special shoe racks to keep them safe. Inside the prayer hole, you will see small niche on the wall called the miab. It shows the direction of the kibla, which is the direction we face while praying. The masid must always be clean. Before going, make sure your body and clothes are clean and do not smell bad. The masid is place of worship. We should not eat or drink inside because it is not place for meals. We must behave respectfully in the mashet. Be quiet, sit calmly, and avoid disturbing others. When you leave the masid, step out with your left foot first and say the dua for leaving. In the name of Allah and prayers and peace be upon Allah's messenger. Allah, ask you for your bounty. Allah, make us among those who frequently visit your mosques and honor them.
