How To Get Answers In Decimal Casio Scientific Calculator Tutorial

hey everybody i'm here today to show you and tell you how to get answers in decimal format on casio scientific calculator this will be an easy tutorial so let's get right into the video i'm going to start off by showing you how to get your answers in decimal format just on per answer basis and then i'll show you how to do it on more permanent basis so let's get right into the video first and foremost just reset this calculator so it's just as if it's like fresh out of the box although just started using it couple days ago anyways but reset it so it's now like just brand new calculator that's how it is acting as if it is just brand new version of the product we're to do simple math equation we're going to do 9 divided by 5. okay so 9 divided by 5 equals and you can see it's giving me fraction as an answer 9 over 5. and that is correct answer but let's say you want decimal which most likely you are going to want that okay in most cases you're going to look for this symbol right here the and then the arrow going in both directions to the and what that means is you're going basically from standard to decimal back and forth okay as far as i'm concerned that's what it means but that's the button you're going to press so watch what happens when press this button over here it's now going to change the decimal format to 1.8 okay if press it again sorry about that i'm little bit moving around back here trying to get an itch on my back let me just scratch it okay there we go we're good let's continue so now don't have to move anymore and got my foot rest over here let me just move my foot stool and we're good to go if press it again it's going to go back to nine fifths again 1.8 so that's how to do it on per answer basis and you can just do this you know as many times as you need to but if you want to do it on more permanent basis let's clear this off right here so if do right now 9 divided by 5 equals it's going to give me nine fifths again right so let's clear it off if you want to do it on more permanent basis you actually need to go to the setup mode so you're gonna look for this button right here saying setup and to get the setup i'm gonna push shift and then mode it brings me to setup and what you wanna do is the line input output line io math input output over there is number one and that's like what you'll find in math textbook number two is the line input output and it just puts everything on one line so you want number two line input output so i'm gonna push two right here and now we're on line input output so if do 9 divided by 5 equals 1.8 didn't have to push that button now it's just constantly doing it in decimal format it's more permanent fix if that's what you are desiring and that's basically it if you like this video tutorial please be sure to give it thumbs up let me know what you think down below as comment and of course be sure to subscribe for more great videos just like this one and that's all have for you today thanks for watching
