Delhi has an extreme climate because it is located far from the sea which means it experiences large difference between summer and winter temperature. Threeandpuram on the other hand has moderate climate because it is coastal city. The sea has moderating effect on the climate as it heats up and cools down more slowly than land which keeps the temperature from becoming too extreme.
