may peace blessings and mercy of allah god almighty be upon all of you today's khatra the short talk etiquettes of the masjid mosque masjids are the main places for worshipping allah the exalted they should be kept in the best form and shape they should help people focus on ibadah worship and maintain the pure oneness of allah in the hearts of the believers salat prayers inside mosques which have graves or idols inside prayer halls is not permissible in islam additionally building masjid is strongly recommended in islam observing the etiquettes of the masjid also brings about plenty of rewards here are some common etiquettes of the masjid maintaining the cleanliness of the masjids and refreshing them with nice scents reciting supplications on your way to masjids entering masjids with the right foot while making supplications and leaving the masjids with the left foot while making the appropriate supplication saluting mass sheds by offering two rock ads or two units of prayers every time you enter masjid keeping them quiet and calm luring voices at masjids contributing to the building and maintenance of masjids financially if you are unable financially maybe you can offer your services as volunteer coming to the masjids in the best attire reciting the quran at masjids whenever you have time helping make masjids representation of unity among muslims getting to know people in the masjids this strengthens the spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood avoiding having anything that might hurt others such as coming with bad smell avoiding having any idols pictures or distracting decorations avoiding playing any type of music at masjids avoiding passing in front of people while they are performing salat's prayers avoiding selling and buying inside masjids avoiding begging inside masjids avoiding co-mixing between males and females avoiding any sort of violence or discomfort at masjids avoiding arguments inside masjids making dua supplication while living masjids here are some supplications which are part of ethics of the masjids and they are taken from the book fortification of the muslim through remembrance and subplication from the quran and authentic sunnah we will insha allah cover three of those applications here in english translation supplication on the way to the masjids allah place within my heart light and upon my tongue light and within my ears light and within my eyes light and place behind me light and in front of me light and above me light and beneath me light or allah bestow upon me light the second supplication or dua while entering masjids take refuge with allah the supreme and with his noble face and his eternal authority from the accursed devil in the name of allah and prayers and peace be upon the messenger of allah allah open the gates of your mercy for me the third and last supplication and dua while exiting the masjids in the name of allah and prayers and peace be upon the messenger of allah allah ask you from your favor allah guard me from the accused devil until next time peace out
