hello everyone my name is Val and welcome back to my channel in today's video will show you how turn Theory into practice will go through each element of my lesson plan and demonstrate how the written word comes to life through various games and activities in real classroom the goal is to illustrate how lesson planning translates into an actual lesson and how your lesson plan helps you visualize jump into the lesson here is my lesson plan the part you are looking at is called pre- classroom preparation and it includes general information about the lesson the most important parts here are lesson objetives and target language lesson objectives list what my students will be able to do after completing the lesson and target language is what my students will be able to say when this lesson is over here are my lesson objectives for these particular class students will be able to one name identify and pronounce six snacks baby carrots lollipops potato chips seeds chocolate and spicy strips two engage in the following dialogue what is your favorite snack my favorite snack is potato chips really when do you like to eat them like to eat them when watch my favorite cartoons on TV and three present their favorite snacks to the whole class in groups also take good look at my target language this section of the lesson plan is called classroom teaching and it is where you detail the actual events and activities that occur in your classroom what is the first thing you do in class that's right you say hi to your students and do simple warm-up activity always ask couple of students how they're doing it is part of my rou and they're familiar with it it builds report and helps me connect with my students after greet them ask my helper how many stars boys and girls have and then we go through the classroom rules in my previous full class videos have explained why and how use my star and point system and why the rules are important so this time will skip this part if you want to think of say together Orange orange makes us think of orange have orange and that's right everyone is great fantastic you guys are amazing perfect now which foods are snacks what you which foods are snacks there are no snacks yes there are there are no we can why not you think we cannot eat fruit as snacks the snacks it means little chips yeah but also fruits can be snacks can be possible yes banana or bananas or strawberries can be snacks actually all these fruits can be snacks we can have strawberry as snacks for example when you watch TV or talk to your friends you can have some strawberries you can have some grapes you can have some oranges right have yes you can have potato chips and if you want to have healthy snacks yes healthy snacks you can have these right okay look now we are going to listen to the song and want you to listen to the song and want you to tell me what snack words you can here can you do that for me yes yes yes so listen carefully you can take notes if you want to and tell me what's next you can hear is everybody ready yes let's listen here we go play snack snack love them so carrots chocolate off we go potato chips and Lolli poops too student one snack thank you chocolate yes potato chips potato chips yes too carrots carrots yes three the right carrots lollipop lollipops yes four what else flour seats seats sunflower seats excellent good ear and one more the most difficult one spicy spicy good spicy what that's okay we are chips spicy chips close good guess good guess but not exactly teaching new vocabulary items in this part introduce six new words one vocabulary item at time point to the word say it aloud and ask your students to repeat it after you as an option you can say the word and your students must say sentence for example you say baby carrots and your students say this is bowl of baby carrots okay let's learn new words okay remember everything put on the board goes into your notebook word number one what is this carrots but look this carrots are they big or small small so in English we say baby carrots together baby carrots baby carrots baby carrots baby carot please write it down in your notebooks baby Aris there we go okay next work what are these potato chips potato chips together potato chips potato chips potato chips potato chips potato chips potato chips okay very good all right what are these lollipop lollipops Now teacher says the word you say the sentence okay lollipop these are lollipop lollipop these are lollipop that's right lollipops or we can say lollies Lolly is short word for Lollipops okay next one let's see what are these sunflow sunflower seeds or we can just say seeds remember Trel says the words you say sentence seeds seeds seeds good well done well done okay next one what is this chocolate chocolate together chocolate chocolate this is of chocolate one more time chocolate this is box of chocolate that's right so here we go chocolate good job and finally the difficult one what are these you can say it in Chinese how do you say it in Chinese yes so in English we say spicy strips together spicy strips spicy strips spicy strips spicy strips spicy strips so we can say Lal spicy strips or you can say Lao strips or just spicy strips one more time spicy strips this is of spicy strips excellent well done song time now play the song and ask your students to sing along do it twice the first time they can just listen to the song read the lyrics and enjoy the video the second time they must sing along so now let's sing Our Song again okay this the sentences and ask students to correct them do it as whole class activity don't forget to go through the keywords making sure your students know and understand them okay so now we're going to correct the sentences let's see if you know this words do you know sweet salty yes spicy yes sour yes Bland yes maybe some of you don't if you don't know the word Bland write it down in your notebook let's say together Bland Bland when something tastes Bland it has no taste like water water tastes Bland right some water some water yes but usually taste BL okay let's do it quickly together potato chips are sweet sal sal salty say together take salty correct chocolate is salty chocolate is sweet chocolate is sweet this is wrong three Lao strips are sour strips are correct they're spicy teacher Val you made so many mistakes lollipops are bland lolop our excellent baby carrots are sour bab are are bland but somebody said sweet and you're right yes they are little bit sweet we can say Bland and we can say sweet either is fine what am guess the snack this activity serves as listening exercise where students work in teams to identify snacks based on auditory Clues do it in teams and bring in competitive element which kids always appreciate okay and now let's do the next game which is called what am need one boy and one girls you are going to listen to teacher describing one one of the snacks you need to guess what snack it is now if you say letter you get one point if you say the word you get two points whoever does it first gets point for their team who wants to try who wants to try Okay one please stand up and we need girl do try okay please stand up one and two remember everybody else be quiet you need to say it quickly whoever says it first and you can say the letter or the word yes so choose number any number you want which one four four Okay let's listen four this snack is brown and sweet it melts in your mouth all children love it very much but it is bad for your teeth if you eat too much of it so what is it what is it de well he was first he said but you said chocolate that means one point for you and one point for you because he was first all right so both student didn't get points well done thank you very much all right chocolate who wants to try the next one let me see okay one girl one and we need boy yes two can do it which one five you want five are you ready everybody listen five this neack is yellow salty and very thin it is made from potatoes people eat it while watching TV what is it so potato chips sorry he was little bit faster correct potato chips boys get two points all right next one dialogue practice follow-up activity is is one that concludes the lesson in this lesson have two followup activities in the first one students practice simple dialogue first you model it then students practice it in Pairs and next you invite few pairs to role play or present it to the class now let's practice simple dialogue okay teacher Val ask the question you answer okay what is your favorite snack my favorite snack is potato chips really when do you like to eat them to watch my favorite on TV very good so now now boys you ask the question girls you answer okay boys you start in 1 2 3 go what is your favorite my favorite is playes really do you like to eat them was myor TV very good so now you try okay look I'm going to put you in pairs you will talk to each other listen to me once you didn't ask the question the other one answers then you swap ropes okay and remember you can use anything like to eat them when do my homework like to eat them when play outside or like to eat them when have shower maybe who knows some somebody may be like somebody might like it so for example you take shower and you have potato so good yeah up to you all right so you have 1 minute to practice Go in English all right good now who's ready who wants to say do yeah yeah I'll ask if you people all right all right okay you and all right everybody listen listen listen listen what is your favorite snack our favorite snack is seeds really when do you like to eat them like to eat them when watch TV excellent well done who else wants to try all right you guys mini prank presentations for the second followup activity have your students write five sentences about their favorite snacks this should be done as group activity Show an example on the PowerPoint slide and provide them with sentence daughters to assist with their sentences when the lot of time is up each group must present their work in front of the class and in theory they should say something along these lines my favorite snack is chocolate it is brown and sweet like to eat it when watch my favorite cartoons on TV it makes me feel happy chocolate is very delicious let's see what they say in real life this is how what we are going to do next now look first of all I'm going to put you into groups one group five students 4 six so let's see listen here's what you need to do are you listening yes in your groups you need to write about your favorite snacks look wait wait wait one student one sentence okay you need to decide who is number 1 2 3 4 5 and six when the time is up you're going to come here and read your sentences for example look I'll show you student number one says my favorite snack student number two says it is brown and sweet or it is big small long short whatever three like to eat them when do homewor yes next student says it makes me feel relaxed and happy yeah and the last student said chocolate is very delicious or chocolate is tasty chocolate is yummy right so this will help you okay remember in your groups one student writes one sentence remember which number you are because you will say student number one blah blah blah student number two blah blah blah student number three blah blah blah you understand so you need to decide who says what does everyone understand you have four minutes four minutes go all right five four 3 2 1 thank you very much perfect who want to go all right you guys were first go first so number one student number one is here number one no no here here here come here number one who is number one number one is here number two yeah yeah go number two three number three four and five five yeah yeah you are five go yeah yeah yeah here we go okay wait wait wait wait wait wait wait yes
