Object Lesson Only the Blood can Erase Sin Dry Erase Sharpie

if you love Jesus well hello and welcome to apostolic Sunday school comm we're so happy you've joined us today for another object lesson this is very simple object lesson and it really doesn't use very many materials at all in fact to use this stuff that you probably either have in your classroom or at home already this is Tristan my daughter she's gonna be helping us so this lesson teaches that the blood of Jesus will cover and take away sin no matter how permanent or how damaging that sin can sing so today I'm gonna have Tristan help you real quick this is my dry erase board now be careful this is one of my favorites had to spend lot of money on this so be careful don't mess it up take my dry dry erase marker and want you just to write the word sin right on here go ahead excellent didn't she do good job all right good job Tristan as you can see from this board it's no longer clean is it it's now got all kinds of yucky stuff on it in Romans it says that as by one man sin entered into the world now sinan is anything that comes between you and God and God doesn't like sin does he no he doesn't think it's time to get rid of this man was tricked in the garden by the devil the sin ever since then we've been suffering from the consequences of that sin haven't we Tristan man has tried for he's tried for many many years he's trying 2001 things to take away the stain of sin but nothing we have ever come up with will take away the stain but today think we have the answer want you just to take this and rub it away but while you do it think very good thoughts okay like think think about puppies and kittens in in little smiling buttons go ahead and then rub it off okay now that the sin is gone yeah okay sorry all she has to do is think better thoughts think about helping people across the street and not fighting with your brother and then get rid of this in it sorry guys good heart okay now that the sin is finally starting to come off we're going to be you know no the sins still there it doesn't come on know hold on we got to try something else let's just put little little dab of water on there maybe maybe that'll do it now that it's wet go ahead go ahead oh-ho here let me help you help okay good rub it off didn't tell you this is my boy you run my favorite board yeah cool hey what marker did you use the drivers try race that says permanent don't know if you can see that but it says permanent markers you wrote with pull-up marker on my dry erase board and now it's ruined hope you're happy cuz I'm not now let's run and there's nothing we can do it doesn't come off nothing in the world we can do is gonna make it go away but is there an answer there is what answer is there woman well think there's an answer in the Word of God you know that Peter said in Acts chapter 2 verse 38 that there is remission of sins if we repent and are baptized in the name of Jesus Hebrews 9:22 says almost all things are by the law purged with almost all things are purchase blood without shedding of blood there's no remission you know when we repent we're truly sorry for the things you've done God's blood will wash the wares in fact have you heard the song that says only the blood of Jesus can wash away our sin man can try anything he wants to do he can think all the good thoughts he wants but it will never get rid of the sin well but the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus can take this away why don't you take this Tristan and cover up that sin with the blood of Jesus you see once your sins been covered by the blood and you're baptized and the beautiful name of Jesus every sin you've ever committed is not only washed away but it's thrown into the sea it forget was where God Himself couldn't bring it back even if he wanted to now that's pretty cool so do you think that the blood of Jesus can wash away our sin this is the same rag we used before right let's see just like that all of our sin is washed white us no man can try everything they want but unless you do it God's Way and not man's way it's never going to work if he's ins 2:13 says but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ Ephesians said in whom we have redemption through his blood and forgiveness the sins according to the riches of His grace and there's several other verses but we're not going to go into them all there's no tricks involved here it's it's exactly what it appears to be that is the permanent marker just plain old permanent marker that we bought at Walmart and this is just plain old dry erase and yes we did write on it there's nothing on here except permanent marker but when you cover it up with dry erase use the x-bow because that's what had and get read dry race when you cover that it just wipes away completely clean I've not ever seen any permanent marker that this doesn't work with so thought this was pretty cool try it out hope it helps you guys if you have better wait for us to use
