this is the lockpicking lawyer and few weeks ago in video 1209 showed how you can use this tiny wi-fi camera to decode quick set smart key door lock if you haven't seen that i'll leave link in the description below it's pretty cool video but got so many comments saying things like that's why use schleg or i'll never use kwikset again that thought in the interest of fairness should point out that can do something very similar with normal schleg lock this is schleg model b560p it's one of the company's mid-range products we're going to both pick and decode it using this lychee tool while we're doing that will zoom in on the face of the lock so you can get good view of the action okay i'm using this little lever to tension the lock and i'm going to push down on the picking arm you can see number one is loose so is 2 so is 3 4 5 is binding nice click out of 5 going back to 4 4 is binding nice click out of 4 3 3 might be set 2 is binding got click out of 2 and we got this open you can see we're turning the core and if we need to unlock it and only unlock it our job would be done but if we need persistent access to this lock we can also use the tool to decode it pay special attention to that little horn that comes off of the picking arm you can see for pin one that is nine cut pin two is seven cut pin three is another nine cut pin four is two cut and pin five is five cut nine seven nine two five let's head down to the garage and i'll show you how to turn those numbers into working key okay folks we're out in the garage with my hpc blitz code cutting machine and we're going to try to cut key for this lock based on the numbers we just decoded the first thing we have to do is insert card with the schleg measurements then i'm going to load the machine with schleg sc1 blank and after it's in there we can start cutting the key so okay folks as you saw it doesn't take much effort for us to produce working key and we now have persistent access to this lock before we close should note that tools like this are lock specific that is every type of lock needs different model and aside from auto locks they don't make these for whole lot of products so they aren't useful for wide range of entry work but for the times they do work this is tool that would not want to be without in any case that's all have for you today if you do have any questions or comments about this please put them below if you like this video and would like to see more like it please subscribe and as always have nice day thank you
