those angels stripping out Souls is chapter 79 in the Quran this mechan chapter serves as stark reminder that our life on Earth is temporary and that our Resurrection on the day of judgment is inevitable the Surah begins with series of Oaths describing the Angels who take the souls at the time of death by those Angels stripping out evil Souls harshly and those pulling out good Souls gently and those gliding through Heaven swiftly and those taking the lead vigorously and those conducting Affairs obediently consider the day when the quaking blast will come to pass this blast will kill everyone except those spared by Allah followed by second blast which will cause the dead to come back to life for judgment the deniers hearts on that day will be trembling in horror with their eyes downcast but now they ask mockingly will we really be restored to our former State even after we've been reduced to Decay bones they add then such return would be total loss for us but indeed it will take only one Mighty blast and at once they will be above ground the chapter then recounts the story of pharaoh with Prophet Musa peace be upon him how his arrogance and denial of Allah led to his own destruction his story is mentioned here as warning to the disbelievers has the story of Moses reached you Prophet his Lord called him in the sacred Valley of commanding go to pharaoh for he has truly transgressed all bounds and say would you be willing to purify yourself and let me guide you to your lord so that you will be in awe of him then Moses showed him the great sign referring to the staff that turned into snake but he denied and disobeyed Allah then turned his back striving against the truth then he summoned his people and called out saying am your lord the most high so Allah overtook him making him an example in this life and the next surely in this is lesson for whoever stands in awe of Allah in the next part of the chapter Allah challenges the arrogance of those who disbelieve in Resurrection he describes the Magnificent creation of the heavens and the Earth and presents logical argument that he is capable of resurrecting people after their death which is harder to create you or the sky he built it raising it high and forming it flawlessly he dimmed its night and brought forth its daylight as for the Earth he spread it out as well bringing forth its water and pastures and settling the mountains firmly upon it all as means of sustenance for you and your animals Allah then describes the terrifying events of the day of judgment and the contrasting fates of both the Believers and the disbelievers on that day but when the Supreme disaster arrives the day every person will remember what they strived for and the Hellfire will be displayed for all to see then as for those who transgressed and preferred the fleeting life of this world the Hellfire will certainly be their home and as for those who were in awe of standing before their lord and restrain themselves from evil desires Paradise will certainly be their home Allah ends the chapter with reminder that the exact timing of the day of Resurrection is known only by him they ask you Prophet regarding the hour when will it be but it is not for you to tell its time that knowledge rests with your lord alone your duty is only to warn whoever is in awe of it on the day they see it it will be as if they had stayed in the world no more than one evening or it's morning help us create more videos by visiting our website today and contributing to our Miss and project please subscribe to our YouTube channel to access more videos and content
