Maldives on budget guide -Let me tell you secret -Maldives, are much cheaper than you can imagine -When tell you Maldives'' all that will cross your mind often -Is the luxury resorts -And crystal beaches that you can only visit for one reason -Which is ''HONEYMOON'' but after my experience here -I can tell you that you can come to Maldives -With no need to bank loan or to get MARRIED -Where you can live Maldivian experience with low costs -Maldives is country that newly opening to tourism -Before 2012, it was forbidden to visit the local islands -And you must reserve in resort in order to enter it -But now it's too easy -Whether you sleep on resort's bed for 1,000$ per night -Or in local island's one for 20$ per night -You'll always be able to enjoy the beauty of Maldives and its islands and beaches with the same magnitude -Watch the video till the end -And i'll tell you exactly step by step how you can make such trip -For tickets, You better book it from an Asian country -As from India or Sri Lanka -my ticket, costed me 150$ for round trip -From Sri Lanka -And this is how we got to Maldives -The 43rd country (VISA) -For Visa, Maldives doesn't need it -For almost all countries around the world -But provided you to have return ticket -And booking for all the days you'll stay there -You have to show them to the immigration officer once you arrive -The immigrations got me tired because you must book the flight -And also book the hotel for the days you'll stay -So when was sitting inside booked hotel room -After confirmed that can do free cancellation for it -In order to cancel it once i'm in -After did all those things -They let me in (BEST TIME) - The high season on Maldives starts from November to April -So the best time you can come with low costs -Is any month but those -Because everything in this period become more expensive -And the prices become higher -The only bad thing that may happen to you -Is there'll be some rain -And it gets cloudy more than this what would happen -YOU'RE IN MALDIIIIIIIIIIVES (ACCOMODATION) -For accommodation, you can easily find rooms -Between 20$ to 60$ for person -Depends to your budget and the island you're in -I booked this room by 16$ on Maafushi island -And we booked it by 35$ for two persons -On Fulidhoo island, it was 50$ per night -We spent the most nights on Maafushi island -where we were paying from 30$ to 40$ -And this room is just by the beach -So, honestly it deserves 50$ with an ordinary bathroom -Usually the room's price includes the breakfast -The cheapest way to book accommodation -Is to use Airbnb -If you don't have an Airbnb account -You can click the link bellow on description -And get 20$ discount for your first use -Gooo.. (TRANSPORTATION) -For transportations there are three ways -Either using public ships such as this -Or using the expensive options like speedboats -And waterplanes but i'm not gonna talk about them because this is budget guide so sure i'm not gonna show'em -The price of tickets on those public ships is from 1$ to 5$ -Depends to the distance between the islands -It may lasts 4 hours..or 15 min -But for sure it's slower than the speed boats ( BYE BYE ..) -And on Friday it doesn't sail (LOCAL ISLANDS) -For the islands, the main three ones that you have to know are Halhumale which contains the Airport -Male, the capital -And Maafushi, which is the most suitable island where you can stay as tourist -Because it's easily reachable and it has many options for accommodation and food -And from there you can visit other islands -That we can talk about later (WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO ONCE YOU ARRIVE) -Once you arrive Maldives in the airport you'll exit from this gate and i'll tell you what you've to do then firstly, you've to exit the airport and go to place where you can exchange your currency -And you've to exchange small amount like 10$ enough -Then you have to go to buy boat ticket from the booth, the boat takes you to Male island -The ticket is almost 70 cents -Everyday there's two boats that takes you from Male to Maafushi Island -One in the morning and the other sail on afternoon time -So take one of them -And if you miss them ,you can stay night on Halhumale island or Male -And the next day you can go to Maafushi -The first night on Maldives, on Male island -Which is the capital -I stayed at this capsule hotel, as you can see -And night over here costs 25$ (FOOD) -About food breakfast included with hotel reservation -The best Maldivian breakfast dish called Mas Huni -The most popular Maldivian breakfast dish called mas huni -Contains tuna coconut with some onion and yea you eat it with bread -And the lunch or dinner meal usually costs from 5$ to 10$ -And the thing ate most for lunch and dinner was ''Kutu'' -Which is Sri-Lakian dish but very popular in all around Maldives ( cheers.. ) (ACTIVITIES) -If you don't have much time, advice you to stay in Maafushi -And do some daily activities -Because it's cheaper and has lot of options -All hotels has its offers from 20$ to 50$ -For Snorkeling trips and swimming with the whales -Visit the sand islands in the middle of the ocean and much more -Also, there's lot of activities that you can do your own -And we came to see what's on the beach -They told us baby sharks might come here -There's lot of sea creatures new to me -Maldives is very Muslim country -And you will notice this Once you arrive at the airport -It's forbidden to bring Alcohols with you -Or swimming without t-shirt for guys or with bikini for girls -That's why there is private beach on each island called Bikini beach where you can wear whatever you want -With this budget you can visit Maldives -And it costs you only 30$ per day - So you can spend whole week in Maldives with only 200$ -If you have any questions you can ask me in the comments bellow -Thank you -See ya next holiday... bye bye -And our trip is over in Maldives islands - Now we're going to the capital male, we'll stay there one day -And ..we're gonna see which country is our next destination -Anyway -May you travel more, PEACE -Hello it's Ibn Hattuta -If you like the video share it -And subscribe my channel -To follow my trip around the world
