The MONTH of RAMADAN for KIDS! | Ramadan 2024 | Islamic Kids National

assalamu alaykum dear friends welcome to or welcome back to Islamic kids National this episode is very special as it is the first episode of our 2024 Ramadan series Ramadan Mubarak to all of you the Blessed month of Ramadan is back and it's my favorite month of the year am so excited we've made many videos about Ramadan previously on the channel but let's refresh our memories and prepare ourselves for the start of this blessed month Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him the starting date of Ramadan changes yearly as it is based on the moon but it is the ninth month of the Islamic hijer calendar Ramadan Begins the morning after we see the Crescent Moon and it lasts for about 30 days in the month of Ramadan we do something really special called fasting which you may have heard of in our previous videos fasting is actually one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam it means that we do not eat or drink anything from sunrise to sunset but you may be curious why do we fast why do we not eat anything from sunrise to sunset well fasting helps us remember to be grateful for the food and water that we have every day because lot of people do not have the food and water that Allah subhana wa tala has blessed us with so fasting helps us remember to be grateful for all of these blessings from Allah subhana wa ta'ala fasting also helps us learn to control our desires like gaming or watching TV fasting makes us think more about our actions what can we do better what are the things that we should do and what are the things that we shouldn't do it's time for us to connect with Allah subhana wa ta'ala and become better people in Ramadan we have one meal before the call for the first prayer which is fuder and this time is called suur this is the beginning of our fast then we have another meal after the call for the MB prayer and this time is called ifar this is when we break our fast foods eaten during sahor include eggs bread so this could be pancakes waffles toasted bread fruits and much more ifar is the time that we break our fast and we break our fast with something small like water and dates then we will perform the mug prayer after that we will have large your meal and this can include foods like samosas Chicken vegetables and much more share your sahur Nars with us you can find more details in the description box down below in this month we also give zakath which is also one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam just like the sun gives light and the warmth to everyone zako teaches us to share our wealth and help those in need and Allah subhana tala gives many special rewards to those who do charitable actions during the month of Ramadan it could be giving things like money food clothes even toys to those who need it most so let's be shining stars of zakat and earn lots of rewards from Allah subhana wa taala this Ramadan because remember the good deeds that we do in this month Allah subhana tala will give us double the reward than he will give us in any other month so that's why we should work hard and do as many good deeds and give as much sth as we can now let's look at very special Hadith together the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said when the month of Ramadan Begins the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained this shows us just how special the month of Ramadan is and guess what at the end of Ramadan we celebrate this very special day called eil fither this is my favorite holiday of the year we pray the prayer and then we gather with our families to have special food and lots of fun we wear nice clothes and eat sweets it's mainly one day but many people choose to celebrate it for 3 days what is
