What Existed Before the Universe Allah and Science on the Origin of Creation

about 13.8 billion years ago our universe came into existence with massive event known as The Big Bang since then it has been expanding and evolving while science has estimated the universe's age many forces and events within it remain unknown to us the history of the universe may stretch back 13 .8 billion years but our understanding of it is far from complete yet the human mind is remarkable it not only seeks answers but dares to ask what existed before the Big Bang what caused this immense explosion and how did such perfectly ordered Universe emerge from it science excels at explaining how things happen but it struggles to answer why they happen in the first place the Big Bang itself is prime example science can describe its process but it cannot explain why it occurred at all to explore these deeper questions we must look Beyond science into history that predates the universe itself but where can such knowledge be found who was there to witness and record it this is where religion provides answers in the Quran Allah the almighty reveals the truth about existence before the Big Bang he says and it is he who created the heavens and the Earth in six days and his throne was upon the water that he might test you as to which of you is best indeed Surah Hood verse 7 similarly Surah Al Surah Surah Alan and Surah yunus all mention that Allah's Throne was and still is above the waters however his throne is unlike any throne in this world will soon discuss more about it now that we understand the history of the universe we know that in the beginning when nothing existed there was only Allah the creator of everything he then brought Creations into existence but this raises an important question what was his very first creation iban Abbas may Allah be pleased with him narrates that his statement is in accordance with the narrations of the messenger of Allah peace be upon him he said the first that Allah created was the pen he commanded it write the pen asked my Lord what should write Allah said write down Destiny so the pen began writing everything that would happen from that moment until the day of judgment then Allah raised the water Vapors and heavens and the Earth while his throne was over the water however the exact length of these 50,000 years remains unknown time as we understand it may not have existed back then or it may have Reckoning these verses clearly indicate that time is not absolute it differs based on perspective and realm therefore we cannot say with certainty that before the Big Bang time behaved the same way it does on Earth or anywhere else in the universe so far we have discussed two things that existed before the Big Bang the pen and the tablet now let us explore another profound aspect water which essential force that predates all existence in the Bible the concept of primordial Waters is introduced in the Book of Genesis in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth now the Earth was sometimes described the early universe as being filled with vast indistinct mass of water although the Greek cosmogonies do not always emphasize water as the sole element of creation the notion of watery origin remains key aspect of their mythological framework Hindu scriptures also describe cosmic ocean that existed before the creation of the universe although their concept of God is entirely flawed it is fascinating that nearly all these cultures speak of the primordial Waters what makes this even more intriguing is something remarkable about this water which will discuss in the chapter Arabic the word arsh is synonymous with throne much like those of Earthly Kings however Allah has described his throne as the greatest Throne signifying its Supreme and unparalleled nature moreover it is said to be dome likee structure that serves as the very roof of creation encompassing all that exists beneath it in the beginning the Throne of Allah rested upon the waters however now there are angels entrusted with the task of bearing it Allah mentions in the Quran the Angels who carry the throne and those around it exalt Allah with praise the messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him said have been informed about one of the Angels who Bears the throne the distance between his earlobes and his shoulders is equivalent to journey of 700 years again the true measure of these years is beyond our comprehension they could equate to 35 million years of this world or perhaps even more or less only Allah knows their exact reality the Throne of Allah is the largest Creation in all the worlds encompassing everything within them in addition to the throne there is another remarkable creation known as the kury the foot stol it is the second largest entity in all of creation when the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was asked about the Cy he said by him in whose hand is my soul the seven heavens and the Seven Earths along with everything within them are but mere Handful in comparison to the cury just as the palm of the hand is in comparison to the rest of the arm in another narration the prophet peace be upon Him further elaborated the seven Heavens in comparison to the cury are like ring thrown into vast desert and the throne holds superiority over the Cy just as the desert holds superiority over the ring these descriptions give us only glimpse of the immense Grandeur of Allah's creation scale Beyond human comprehension now let's address the big question what caused the big bang and why is the universe so perfectly structured to begin let's take look at what modern science has to to say about what was there before the Big Bang and what might have triggered it then we will turn to the Quran for better understanding The Big Bang Theory provides well supported explanation for the evolution of the cosmos but it does not inherently address what came before however scientists have proposed several theories the classical understanding of the Big Bang based on general relativity suggests that time and space began with the big bang itself according to this view asking what came before is meaningless because time itself did not exist before this point however modern theoretical physics particularly quantum mechanics and quantum gravity challenges this notion by proposing several alternative models that allow for pre- big bang State one of the leading ideas is that the Universe emerged from Quantum vacuum in quantum mechanics vacuum is not empty but teaming with fluctuating energy due to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle this principle dictates that even in empty space particles and antiparticles constantly appear and vanish think about pot of boiling water even if you don't Stir It bubbles appear and disappear randomly that's similar to what happens in Quantum vacuum tiny energy fluctuations are always popping in and out of existence most of these fluctuations are small and vanish quickly like tiny bubbles bursting but every once in while one of these fluctuations could become big instead of Disappearing now imagine blowing soap bubbles most of them pop right away but once in while one keeps expanding and floats away scientists think something similar might have happened to our universe Quantum fluctuation instead of Vanishing got stretched and expanded extremely fast due to process called inflation this sudden expansion turned the tiny fluctuation in into massive explosion of energy which became the Big Bang even though it seems like the universe came from nothing quantum physics shows that nothing is actually full of activity another possibility is that our universe is part of larger Multiverse the Multiverse Theory suggests that multiple universes exist each with its own physical laws and properties one version of this Theory known as eternal infl posits that our universe is just one of many pocket universes that formed within larger inflating SpaceTime in this scenario different regions of space could experience different physical conditions leading to the birth of new universes through Quantum fluctuations this concept aligns with the idea that the Big Bang was not the absolute beginning but rather transition between different phases of cosmic Evolution related idea is the cyclic Universe model which proposes that the Universe under Go endless cycles of expansion and contraction known as the big bounce in this framework the Big Bang was not the ultimate beginning of everything but rather the result of previous Universe collapsing due to gravitational forces and then rebounding into new expansion phase this concept is supported by some interpretations of string theory which suggests that higher dimensional structures called brains could Collide producing new universe in each interaction now imagine space and time not as smooth fabric but more like net or chain link fence made of tiny unbreakable Loops this is what Loop quantum gravity suggests space itself is made of tiny discrete building blocks rather than being continuous like sheet of paper now think about bouncing ball if you drop regular rubber ball on the ground it keeps bouncing lower and lower until it stops but imagine special kind of ball that instead of stopping bounces back up with the same energy it had when it fell this is similar to what Loop Quantum cosmology says about the universe in traditional Big Bang Theory the universe keeps shrinking smaller and smaller until it reaches an infinitely tiny and dense Point called singularity but according to Loop quantum gravity space and time can't be crushed into an infinite point because of their tiny loop-like structure instead when the universe shrinks to certain small size Quantum effects create repulsive Force like super strong spring being compressed this Force prevents the universe from collapsing completely and makes it bounce back starting new expansion great way to Picture This is trampoline if you jump on on it you go down stretching the fabric but instead of breaking the trampoline pushes you back up similarly as the universe contracts it doesn't collapse into nothing it bounces back into expansion that's what Loop Quantum cosmology suggests happen before the Big Bang instead of being the very beginning of everything the Big Bang could have just been bounce where previous Universe collapsed and then rebounded into the one we see to day some scientists think that instead of just crushing everything into single point black hole might act like tunnel to new universe think of black hole as seed when you plant seed in the ground it seems to vanish but over time it grows into something new tree similarly some researchers believe that when matter falls into black hole it doesn't just get destroyed but could actually give birth to new universe on the other side another way to Picture This is soap bubble forming inside another bubble imagine you blow bubble and inside it smaller bubble appears some theories suggest that inside black holes SpaceTime itself could stretch and expand forming whole new universe separate from the one it came from if this idea is true then our universe might not have come from single explosion like the big bang but instead could have emerged from black hole in higher dimensional space kind of parent universe and if black holes can create new universes that means the black holes in our universe could also be giving birth to other universes like Cosmic family trees branching out endlessly fascinating isn't it all these theories are both intriguing and thought-provoking however let me remind you none of them have been definitively proven and One Thing Remains consistent across all these theories the true beginning of existence is still unknown if we consider the quantum fluctuation Theory it does not explain what caused the fluctuation that triggered the Big Bang in the first place if we look at the Multiverse Theory science has no answer for what brought the Multiverse into existence the loop quantum gravity Theory suggests cyclic model of time and space yet it fails to answer who or what set these Cycles in motion and as for the black hole Theory science remains uncertain was it black hole that created the universe or did the universe create the first black hole these are major gaps in our understanding blank spaces in the fabric of modern scientific inquiry yet as mentioned earlier we already have the hisory history of the universe long before it existed found in both the Quran and the Bible now let's turn to these sources and explore which of the theories if any aligns most closely with the truth among the theories mentioned above some suggest that singularity existed at the dawn of creation While others deny it but what is the truth in the Quran Allah the almighty states have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the Earth were joined entity and we separated them Surah Alania verse 30 this verse makes it clear there was indeed singularity the heavens and the Earth were once single unified entity before being separated by Allah's command this directly affirms the concept of singularity meaning that any Theory claiming there was none is incorrect now that we have established the existence of singularity the next question arises what triggered its expansion the answer is simple Allah's command he merely says and it happens however as we analyze scientific viewpoints to broaden our comprehension let's consider what might have happened when Allah gave the universe its creation command in the Bible it is written and God said let there be light and there was light some may question why reference the Bible here the reason is that this verse aligns with the quranic verse we just discussed in that verse Allah uses the Arabic word ratan Scholars have derived two key meanings from this word the merging of elements into single unified entity and the total darkness to understand this better consider black holes regions in space so dense that even light cannot Escape at the heart of black hole lies singularity the ultimate form of darkness and compression now when we combine both meanings of ratcon we arrive at profound understanding before creation there was an ultimate Singularity engulfed in total darkness where everything in the universe existed as single undiff iated entity this aligns with both scripture and modern scientific Concepts then according to the Bible God said let there be light this suggests that the singularity this tightly bound dark state of existence was commanded to burst forth allowing light to emerge in essence this describes the moment Allah ordered the Big Bang bringing the universe into existence with his divine will so how was the Big Bang triggered the following is my personal Theory and it may or may not be correct however it is worth exploring fascinating possibility that the power of sound played role in the initiation of the universe to understand this idea we must first reconsider the nature of matter itself what we perceive as solid is not truly solid at the atomic level if we could shrink ourselves down to the size of an atom and closely examine something as massive as mountain we would not see an impenetrable structure instead we would witness vast expanse of emptiness with tiny Atomic nuclei surrounded by electron clouds in fact over 99.99% of an atom is empty space what we call Solid Rock is actually collection of energy Fields where particles interact in ways that give the illusion of solidity the reason our hands cannot pass through wall is not because the wall is truly solid but because of the electromagnetic repulsion between the electrons in our hand and those in the wall at its core matter is form of energy held together by fundamental forces this means that matter can be influenced by various forces including vibrations and frequencies now let us examine the nature of sound sound is energy in the form of vibrations that propagate through medium such as air water or even solid matter these vibrations can influence the arrangement of particles in various ways one of the most intriguing aspects of sound is resonance the phenomenon where sound wave at particular frequency can amplify the vibrations of another object for example Divine sound uttered at specific frequency that brings creation into existence now let us consider the moment of the Big Bang it is possible that when Allah commanded it was spoken at Divine frequency that caused The Singularity to break apart and explode into existence just as sound wave at the right frequency can shatter glass the power of may have initiated the expansion of the universe vibrations have the ability to shape and structure matter and divine frequencies could have arranged the universe into galaxies stars and planets giving form to Creation itself Sound Energy travels in waves and similarly the initial expansion of the universe may have been set in motion by Divine vibration modern physics confirms that everything in the universe including light gravity and even matter exhibits wavelike properties so the universe may have begun as Divine wave set into motion by the command of Allah bringing forth existence from nothingness now that we have explored what may have triggered the Big Bang the next question arises how was the singularity itself created this question was indirectly addressed earlier when discussing the theory of quantum fluctuations according to this Theory The Singularity emerged due to Quantum effects in pre-existing Quantum State however science has yet to provide complete explanation for the origin of the singularity as this question remains Beyond its current reach my explanation is that the singularity contained everything that now exists within the universe every Force every energy every particle and every vibration was compressed within it this idea aligns with the quranic verse have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the Earth were joined entity and we separated them this verse suggests that all of existence was once unified before it was separated if we apply reverse engineering approach it follows that everything in the current Universe matter energy forces and fundamental interactions must have preexisted within that Singularity from scientific perspective this concept is consistent with Einstein's mass energy equivalence principle which states that matter and energy are interchangeable if all the mass and energy of the universe were concentrated in single infinitesimally small point then the singularity would have held an immense amount of potential energy compressed into an extremely high density state but why why was The Singularity necessary for the universe to come into existence The Singularity was not just the starting point of the universe it was state of Perfect Balance state of perfect equilibrium if the singularity had possessed slightly more energy the expansion of the universe would have been too rapid the fabric of SpaceTime would have stretch too quickly preventing matter from clumping together in this scenario galaxies stars and planets would never have formed only an empty void expanding indefinitely if the singularity had contained slightly less energy the gravitational pole of its own Mass would have been too strong the universe would have collapsed back into itself almost instantly after beginning its expansion creating big crunch before any structure could emerge the fine balance of the singularity was crucial it held exactly the right amount of energy density and fundamental forces for the universe to emerge in stable structured way this is why the singularity was necessary it was the way the universe could have expanded in controlled manner rather than exploding chaotically or collapsing prematurely The Singularity contained all the forces of nature gravity electromagnetism and the strong and weak nuclear forces at single point these forces had to be perfectly tuned at the moment of expansion or the universe would have been vastly different The Singularity did not just hold all the matter and energy of the universe it also contained the physical laws that would shape Cosmic Evolution as the was in Perfect Balance ensuring that the expansion would unfold in controlled manner if any Factor had been slightly off the universe would have been radically different or might not have existed at all thus it was Allah the alight Mighty who brought this perfectly designed Universe into existence from an infinitely dense and intensely hot point his knowledge encompasses all that exists and when he commanded let there be light or when he said it was at the perfect moment with perfect frequency shaping universe of remarkable order and balance science remains uncertain about what exist listed before the Big Bang or what triggered the immense event that set our universe into motion however it excels at explaining how things unfolded afterward how galaxies stars and planets took shape over billions of years in this discussion we'll first explore how our universe evolved after the Big Bang from scientific perspective then we'll take broader look at the creation of the universe or perhaps the Multiverse through through the lens of the Quran and the Bible right after the big bang the universe was not filled with stars and galaxies in fact it wasn't even filled with atoms instead it was an unimaginably hot and dense sea of energy at this stage temperatures were trillions of degrees and everything was so compressed that even fundamental forces like gravity electromagnetism and nuclear forces were unified into single Force as the universe expanded it began to cool within fraction of second this cooling allowed energy to transform into matter and antimatter in the form of Elementary particles quarks electrons and their antimatter counterparts however there was slight imbalance for every billion antimatter particles there were billion in one matter particles that tiny extra bit of matter the one in billion difference was enough to eventually form all the stars planets and galaxies we see today you might be wondering why was there an imbalance between matter and antimatter this is another question that science has not yet been able to answer however some theories suggest that certain natural processes favored matter over antimatter in the first few hundred thousand years after the big bang the universe was an extremely hot and dense plasma chaotic mix of charged particles protons neutrons and free electrons it was so hot that atoms couldn't exist yet because electrons were constantly getting knocked away from protons and neutrons due to the intense energy light in this era couldn't travel freely every time light tried to move it would immediately collide with free electron scattering in different direction this constant interaction made the universe opaque like thick fog where light was trapped and couldn't go anywhere this stage of the universe is in fact mentioned in the Quran in Surah fat the verse States then he turned to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the Earth come into being willingly or by compulsion they said we come willingly the word smoke in this verse is particularly significant it is interpreted as reference to the primordial state of the universe hot dense and opaque plasma that existed before atoms formed around 380,000 years after the big bang the universe had expanded and cooled down to about 3,000 Kelvin this cooling was crucial because it finally allowed prot and neutrons to capture electrons and form stable neutral atoms mainly hydrogen and helium this process is called recombination even though it was actually the first time atoms were forming with electrons now bound to atoms they were no longer free to scatter light everywhere with fewer free electrons to interfere with photons light could finally travel freely through space the universe once dense fog sudden suddenly became transparent The Light released at this moment is what we now observe as the cosmic microwave background radiation the faint glow of the early universe that still exists today this radiation has been traveling for over 13.8 billion years carrying information about the conditions of the young universe this moment was major turning point in the history of the universe before recombination space was chaotic hot plasma with no stable atoms after recombination the universe became clear and light could finally spread across the cosmos and this stage of the universe is mentioned in the Bible in the very first verses of the Book of Genesis it is written and God said let there be light and there was light these verses refer to the universe's transition from dense Smoky state to transparent one where light could finally travel freely so in short the universe cooled atoms formed light escaped and the universe became visible for the first time while light could now move freely there were no stars or galaxies yet only vast clouds of neutral hydrogen and helium gas spread throughout the Universe with no significant sources of light the universe entered period called the Dark Ages which lasted for millions of years even though everything looked dark and empty gravity was still at work the universe wasn't perfectly uniform some areas had slightly more matter than others these tiny differences in density left over from The Big Bang caused certain regions to have little more gravity than their surroundings over millions of years gravity pulled gas together into clumps forming denser regions as these clumps grew bigger their gravitational pole got stronger attracting even more matter this process continued forming the first Cosmic structures the seeds of future stars and galaxies as these clumps of hydrogen and helium collapsed under their own gravity they heated up due to the pressure eventually the temperature and pressure inside these collapsing gas clouds became high enough to trigger nuclear fusion the process that powers Stars this moment was GameChanger the first Stars ignited marking the end of the Dark Ages these first Stars known as population three stars were very different from the Stars we see today they were much larger than our sun some were hundreds of times more massive they burned much hotter and Shone brighter because they were so massive they had short lifespans lasting only few million years before exploding as Supernova when the first stars formed they were not alone in empty space instead their strong gravitational pull attracted surrounding hydrogen and helium gas as well as other newly formed Stars creating clusters of stars over time these clusters merged together forming the first galaxies however these early galaxies looked very different from the ones we see today they were small chaotic and misshapen because of abundant gas they produced new stars at fast rate over billions of years these small galaxies collided and merged gradually evolving into the larger more structured galaxies we see today such as spiral galaxies like the Milky Way and elliptical galaxies as galaxies started forming they didn't stay isolated instead gravity pulled them together into groups called Galaxy clusters these clusters contain hundreds or even thousands of galaxies all bound together by their gravitational pole matter in the universe didn't just gather randomly instead galaxies and Galaxy clusters lined up along vast invisible filaments of gas and dark matter this webike pattern is called The Cosmic web and it defines the large scale structure of the universe between the filaments of the cosmic web there are enormous empty regions called Cosmic voids these are areas where almost no galaxies exist just vast empty space some of these voids are hundreds of millions of light years across making them some of the biggest structures in the universe what magnificent Masterpiece of creation yet there are still those who claim that the universe is merely an accident indeed they are willfully deaf dumb and blind they will never return to the right path Surah Al bakar now let's see how planets in our solar system came into being stars generate energy through process called nuclear fusion this means they combine lighter elements to form heavier ones inside their cores small stars like our sun fuse hydrogen into helium larger Stars can fuse helium into carbon oxygen and neon the most massive stars continue Fusion forming silicon sulfur and iron but there's limit iron is the heaviest element that star can create through Fusion because creating heavier elements requires more energy than it produces this marks the beginning of star's death when massive star runs out of fuel it collapses under its own gravity leading to supernova explosion these explosions are among the most powerful events in the universe in just seconds temperatures and pressures become extreme enough to create elements heavier than iron such as gold silver and uranium the explosion then scatters all these newly formed elements into space enriching the surrounding gas and dust this cycle of star birth and death repeated over billions of years increasing the universe's chemical diversity and making it possible for rocky planets like Earth to form about 4.6 billion years ago one of these enriched clouds of gas and dust in the Milky Way galaxy began to collapse under Gravity This Cloud called the solar nebula may have been disturbed by nearby Supernova explosion which sent shock waves through space as the cloud collapsed it spun faster and flattened into rotating disc of gas and dust at the center pressure and temperature increased until nuclear fusion ignited this was the birth of our sun while the sun formed at the center the remaining material in the rotating disc began clumping together due to gravity and collisions tiny dust grains stuck together due to electrostatic forces these grains formed small rocks which then combined into larger bodies called planetesimals over millions of years planetesimals collided and merged eventually forming planets moons asteroids and comets Earth formed in special region of the solar system called the habitable zone the area where temperatures allow liquid water to exist being at the right distance from the Sun meant Earth could develop oceans and stable atmosphere two two key ingredients for Life over time geological processes shaped Earth's surface and chemical reactions led to the formation of organic molecules setting the stage for life to emerge this is what science tells us about the history of the universe now let's explore what the Quran says about it in the previous chapter of this series explained using verses from the Quran why the Big Bang Theory is the most accurate explanation for the origin of the universe as we have learned the universe began with massive explosion and from its aftermath stars and galaxies formed now let's focus on the formation of planets science tells us that planets including Earth came into existence through the death of massive stars in powerful explosion known as supernova these events have been observed multiple times by astronomers providing clear scientific evidence of the process interestingly the Quran also acknowledges the death of stars and their violent explosions Allah the almighty States when the heavens will split apart becoming rose red like burnt oil Surah araman ver 37 when massive star explodes it briefly takes on stunning red and pink appearance resembling the Petals of red rose just as the Quran describes isn't it fascinating planets came into existence through Supernova explosions and in the future life may cease to exist due to multiple Supernova earlier shared verse from the Quran that describes the Smoky state of the universe after the big bang let me remind you of that verse once again Allah the almighty States then he turned to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the Earth come into being willingly or by compulsion they said we come willingly with this Divine command the process of creation began in the very next verse Allah describes how he shaped the heavens so he formed the heaven into seven Heavens in two days assigning to each its mandate and we adorned the lowest heaven with stars like lamps for beauty and for protection that is the design of the Almighty all knowing Surah filat verse 12 this verse tells us that the universe is not limited to one heaven but rather consists of seven Heavens similarly the Quran also states that there is not just one Earth but seven Allah the almighty further confirms this in Surah talak Allah is he who created seven heavens and like them the Earth his command descends among them so that you may know that Allah has power over everything and that Allah encompasses all things in his knowledge so there are seven heavens and seven Earths all of which were created when the Big Bang occurred however science has yet to fully understand this concept when discussing these heavens and Earths we will primarily rely on religious texts but not now this is the topic for the next video Allah the almighty States in Surah Al indeed your lord is Allah who created the heavens and the Earth in six days then established himself on the throne the prophet peace be upon Him narrated that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala began the creation on Saturday and completed it on Friday the Most Blessed of all days on Saturday Allah created turba the dust and sand which formed the foundation of creation on Sunday he created the mountain mountains establishing stability on the earth on Monday he brought forth the trees laying the groundwork for vegetation and life on Tuesday he created macru microscopic creatures such as germs on Wednesday he created light Illuminating the world on Thursday he released all living creatures filling the Earth with movement and life finally on Friday after oer Allah created Adam peace be upon him the first human being let's move forward with the creation of Earth now after creating the Earth Allah states in the Quran and he placed on the earth firm mountains and he blessed it and determined its sustenance for all who seek it Surah fat verse 10 additionally Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him explained the significance of mountains in Hadith when Allah created the Earth he created mountains to stabilize it the Angels were greatly astonished by the creation of the mountains and asked Allah Our Lord have you created anything harder than the mountains Allah responded Yes iron the Angels then asked Lord have you created anything harder than iron Allah replied yes fire the Angels further inquired and is there anything more severe than fire Allah said yes wind the Angels continued and is there anything more severe than wind Allah responded Yes the human being who acknowledges what is on his right side but turns away from or hides what is on his left side in modern science mountains play crucial role in maintaining the stability of the Earth's crust mountains are not just surface structures they extend deep into the Earth's crust forming what is known as Mountain roots these roots counterbalance the weight of the mountains above similar to how icebergs float with most of their Mass submerged this concept is explained in isostasy where Earth's crust adjust to maintain equilibrium the Himalayas the tallest mountain range on earth have deep roots that extend nearly 70 kilm into the Earth's mantle acting as counterweight that stabilizes the surrounding land masses when tectonic plates collide they generate immense amounts of stress and pressure this stress can lead to destructive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions mountains absorb and distribute these forces by acting as shock absorbers they help prevent excessive shifting of the land reducing the severity of earthquakes when stress builds up along tectonic boundaries mountains slow down the movement of the plates reducing sudden and extreme shifts the Andes mountains in South America form major boundary between the NASA plate and the South American plate without these mountains absorbing and distributing stress earthquakes in the region would be far more catastrophic mountains are far more than just massive land forms if you've been following my discussions you already know that mountains are not just stabilizers of the earth they are places of extraordinary events the places of portals perhaps this is why Allah dedicated an entire day of creation specifically to the formation of mountains Allah in verse 18 of Surah mun says we send down rain from the sky in perfect measure causing it to soak into the Earth this verse tells us that water on Earth came from the sky let's see what science knows about it one major and widely accepted Theory suggests that Earth's water came from space delivered by asteroids and comets during the chaotic early years of the solar system this idea is based on evidence that many space rocks contain significant ific amounts of water in the form of ice or chemically bonded molecules around 4.5 to 3.8 billion years ago during period known as the late heavy bombardment countless asteroids and comets struck the young Earth these objects originated from the outer solar system where conditions were cold enough for ice to exist each impact vaporized water upon Collision releasing it into the atmosphere where it later condensed and formed the first oceans scientists have analyzed water found in asteroids and Certain comets and discovered that their chemical composition closely matches Earth's water spacecraft like Rosetta which studied Comet 67p and Osiris Rex which examined asteroid benu confirmed that these objects contain water-bearing minerals reinforcing the idea that they contributed to Earth's water supply one of the more recent scientific theories suggests that water on Earth may have originated from the solar nebula the vast cloud of gas and dust that surrounded the young sun and gave birth to the planets the solar nebula contained an abundance of hydrogen and oxygen the two essential elements that make up water in the right conditions these elements could have combined to form water molecules either as Vapor or locked within solid materials as the Earth was forming from dust and rock within the nebula some of this water could have been chemically trapped within minerals in the planet's interior in Earth's early history volcanic eruptions were much more frequent and Powerful as these minerals melted deep inside the Earth the water trapped within them was released as Steam through volcanic outgassing this steam then Rose into the atmosphere where it cooled and condensed into rain eventually filling the oceans over millions of years the early oceans were crucial in stabilizing earth's climate influencing the planet's geology and creating suitable environment for the development of life as Allah says he is the one who has laid out the Earth for all of you and set in it Pathways for you and sends down rain from the sky causing various types of plants to grow chapter 20:53 Allah the almighty created seven heavens and the vast Sky we see above us is only the first Heaven within this first Heaven exist all known celestial bodies galaxies Stars black holes nebuli and planets all operating within perfectly ordered system Allah affirms this in the Quran and we Adorn the lowest heaven with stars like lamps for beauty and for protection that is the design of the almighty all knowing you might be wondering how exactly do stars protect us the sun like all stars constantly emits solar wind stream of charged particles composed mostly of protons and electrons this Solar Wind forms the heliosphere vast protective bubble surrounding our solar system the heliosphere acts as shield against cosmic rays high energy radiation originating from deep space without this barrier Earth would be exposed to intense Cosmic radiation which could strip away the atmosphere and severely impact biological life for 4 .6 billion years the sun's solar wind has been crucial defense ensuring that Earth remains habitable beyond our solar system other stars also contribute to Cosmic protection stars generate powerful magnetic fields that interact with the larger Galactic magnetic structure helping to deflect harmful cosmic rays some of the universe's most extreme Stars such as pulsars rapidly spinning neutron stars and magnetars high magnetic neutron stars play critical role in stabilizing these Galactic magnetic fields their immense energy output helps maintain balance within the Milky Way indirectly shielding planets like Earth from dangerous radiation everything in the cosmos follows precise and ordained orbit the stars planets and even entire galaxies are in constant motion governed by Divine command Allah states it is he who created the Knight and the the day and the Sun and the Moon each floating in its orbit Surah Alia 2133 he further emphasizes the accuracy of these Celestial movements the Sun and the Moon run on calculated course Surah arahman verse 5 the universe is continuously expanding fact confirmed by modern science Allah the almighty States and the heaven we constructed with strength and and indeed we are its expander 51:47 the concept of an expanding Universe was first suggested by Albert Einstein in his general theory of relativity but at the time even he struggled to accept it however observational evidence later confirmed that the Universe has been stretching outwards since its very beginning the first major observational evidence for the universe's expansion came in the 1920s when Edwin Hubble an American astronomer made groundbreaking discovery he observed distant galaxies using the hooker telescope at Mount Wilson Observatory and found that their light was shifting towards the red end of the electromagnetic spectrum this phenomenon known as red shift occurs when light waves are stretched as an object moves away from an observer the farther away Galaxy was the greater its red shift indicating that it was moving away at faster speed this led to what is now known as Hubble's Law which states that galaxies are receding from us in all directions and that the farther away galaxy is the faster it is moving this observation was crucial in proving that the universe is not static but expanding over time if the universe is expanding now it must have been smaller in the past by reversing this expansion mathematically scientists realized that the Universe must have originated from an extremely hot dense point singularity this idea formed the foundation of the Big Bang Theory which suggests that the Universe began 13.8 billion years ago in sudden and Rapid expansion another strong piece of evidence for the universe's expansion is the cosmic microwave background CMB radiation in the 1960s scientists Arno penus and Robert Wilson accidentally discovered faint uniform radio signal coming from every direction in space this radiation is remnant of the early Universe dating back to about 380,000 years after the big bang when the first atoms formed and light was able to travel freely the CMB is like snapshot of the young universe showing how it expanded and cooled over time for decades scientists believed that the expansion of the universe might slow down due to gravity however in the late 1990s observations of distant supern noi revealed something unexpected the universe's expansion is not slowing down it is accelerating this discovery led to the concept of dark energy mysterious force that makes up about 68% of the universe and is driving its accelerated expansion unlike gravity which pulls object objects together Dark Energy acts in the opposite way pushing galaxies apart at an increasing rate scientists still do not fully understand what dark energy is but its Discovery revolutionized cosmology and led to new questions about the fate of the universe the heavens are adorned with breathtaking Celestial wonders as Allah states by the sky full of constellations Surah aluj in another vers he says and we have placed within the heaven great Stars Aruj and have beautified It For The Observers Surah alh modern telescopes have captured some of the most breathtaking images of the universe The Pillars of Creation is one of the most iconic images in modern astronomy captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995 these towering structures of gas and dust are located within the Eagle Nebula M16 vast star forming region approximately 6,500 light years away from Earth in the constellation serpents these pillars were formed through combination of gravity radiation pressure and Stellar winds from nearby young massive stars the name Pillars of Creation comes from the fact that these immense clouds of gas and dust serve as the birthplace of new stars at the tips of the pillars astronomers have observed the formation of protostars which are young Stars still Gathering Mass from their surrounding nebula the cosmic Cliffs located in the Karina nebula are breathtaking region of star formation about 7,600 light years away captured by the James web Space Telescope this image reveals towering clouds of gas and dust shaped by intense radiation from Young Stars these structures resemble mountains are nurseries where new stars are being born the nebula's vibrant colors and dramatic lighting create stunning Cosmic Landscape the Helix nebula often called the eye of God is planetary nebula located 700 light years away in Aquarius it is the remnant of Dying sunlike star shedding its outer layers into space the nebula's glowing rings of gas create the appearance of giant cosmic eye at its Center white dwarf emits radiation Illuminating the nebula's colorful clouds this image gives scientists glimpse into the eventual fate of our own Sun the hsee head nebula in the Orion molecular cloud is one of the most recognizable dark nebula located 1375 light years away its distinctive shape resembling horse's glimpse into the stunning wonders of the first Heaven showcasing Celestial land Landscapes that have existed for millions of years about the first Sky it is written that it is made of water and is named rakia hazrat Adam peace be upon Him resides in this first sky and in some narrations it is said that the prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him saw an angel named had in this first Sky whose body
