In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. Isra and Mirage is journey where the laws of physics and human understanding simply cease to apply. As the name suggests, it consists of two parts, Isra and Mirage. In the last episode, we talked about Isra, the prophet Muhammad's peace be upon him journey from Mecca to Jerusalem. Before we move on to the second part, Mirage, let's quickly revisit Isra. One night in Mecca, as the prophet peace be upon him slept, Giri came to him. He took him to the well of Zamzam where his chest was opened, his heart washed, and filled with wisdom and faith. Then came Barack, white-winged creature, bigger than donkey, but smaller than mule. It moved with unimaginable speed, placing its hoof at the farthest point it could see. The prophet mounted Barack, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived in Jerusalem. There he tied it to the same ring used by the prophets before him. In Jerusalem, he met various prophets. Jabril called the prayer, and angels descended from the heavens. Allah gathered all the messengers and prophets and prophet Muhammad peace be upon him led them in prayer. When it was over, Giil asked, Muhammad, do you know who prayed behind you?" The prophet replied, "No." Gibbrel then said, "Every single prophet whom Allah has ever sent." Imam Al Shami who authored one of the most detailed biographies of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him mentioned that the spirits of the prophets were present in Jerusalem that night each praising their Lord. Then the conversation shifted to the final hour the day of judgment. The prophets first turned to Ibraim peace be upon him for an answer but he said have no knowledge of it. They then asked Musa, peace be upon him, who gave the same response. Finally, they turned to Issa, peace be upon him. Jesus said, "As for when it will happen, only Allah knows, but my Lord has informed me of the events that will come before it. The Dajal, Antichrist, will appear, and will face him with two rods. The moment he sees me, he will begin to melt like lead and Allah will destroy him instantly. Even the stones will call out, Muslim, there is disbeliever hiding behind me. Come and strike him, and Allah will ensure their defeat. After that, people will return to their lands, but then Yajooj and Majuj, Gog and Magog will emerge. They will flood the earth, destroying everything in their path. They will consume every source of water until nothing is left. The people will come to me pleading for help. will pray to Allah and he will destroy them. Their corpses will fill the earth and the stench will be unbearable. Then Allah will send down rain that will cleanse the land and wash their bodies into the sea. When all of this happens, the final hour will be as close as mother in her last moments of pregnancy. Her family knows the time is near, but whether it will happen by night or day, they cannot tell. Then Gabriel presented the prophet, peace be upon him, with two vessels, one filled with wine and the other with milk. The prophet chose the milk. Gabriel said, "You have chosen Fitra, the natural disposition. Had you chosen the wine, your community would have gone astray, and only few would have followed you." Another narration mentions that there were three vessels with the third containing water. Jabril then said, "Had you chosen the water, your community would have perished by drowning." This marks the end of the first journey of the night, Isra, and the beginning of the second, Mirage. Before we continue, share this video as much as you can, as it helps the algorithm expand its reach to more people, allowing more viewers to benefit from it. Let's begin. Many people believe that the prophet peace be upon him traveled through the seven heavens and beyond on Barack. But that is not the case. In my video on Israel, explained that when the prophet arrived in Jerusalem, Jabril, peace be upon him, tied Barack to stone with hole in it, hole that Jabril himself had created. Moreover, in all the authentic narrations about Mirage, Barack is not mentioned. In Sahib Bukari, the prophet peace be upon him said, "Then Gibriel took me by the hand and ascended with me to the sky." This indicates that the journey to the heavens was not undertaken on Barak. There are even more fascinating narrations that further support this. According to hadith narrated by Abu Sah and reported by Iban Ishak and Alhaki inwa the prophet peace be upon him said when had finished in Bal Makis the mirage was brought to me had never seen anything more beautiful it is the very thing dying person's eyes are fixed upon before they pass away my companion Jabril then ascended with me until we reached the gate of the heavens Another narration describes Mirage as celestial ladder by which the souls of the children of Adam ascend. It is said that no creation has ever seen anything more magnificent. The latter had alternating steps of silver and gold descending from Janat Alferdas, the highest and most expansive garden of paradise. It was adorned with pearls and surrounded by angels on both its right and left. According to the manuscript of Abu Al-Hassan Bakr on the story of Mirage titled Al Tama Mul Kamal, the prophet peace be upon him said, gazed upon the angels ascending and descending upon it, glorifying Allah, proclaiming his greatness and praising the Lord of the worlds." Then Jabril called out to me, "Ascend, Muhammad, and rejoice in the mercy of the Lord of the worlds." He pressed me to his chest, wrapped me in his wing, and carried me upon the mirage. As placed my feet on its first step, it lifted me with the force of gusting wind. Yet, remained completely connected to it. felt no sensation of walking, nor did experience any fatigue. Rather, it was as if were bird soaring or star rising. Such was the power of my Lord. There is no God but him. These descriptions of the mirage as celestial ladder align with verse 4 of surah al where Allah states the angels and the spirit ascend to him in day the measure of which is 50,000 years the spirit in this verse refers to jabril peace be upon him this verse reveals the existence of shortcut that angels use to travel between the heavens and the earth This is clear example of time dilation where time for the angels moves much slower compared to time on earth. Using the Lawrence transformation equation from special relativity, we can calculate their speed. When we apply the equation to this scenario, the result aligns with the speed of light. This suggests that if our physics is correct, the angels travel at the speed of light through this divine pathway. While for them the journey takes just one day. From our perspective it would span 50,000 years. Now let's analyze the journey of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. His journey began in Mecca from where he traveled to Jerusalem. From Jerusalem he ascended through the heavens and beyond. He then returned to Jerusalem before coming back to Mecca. All within part of single night lasting less than 5 hours. We previously calculated that angels travel at the speed of light through divine pathway where time dilation is so extreme that their one day equals 50,000 Earth years. The prophet peace be upon him traveled far beyond the seven heavens yet less than 5 hours passed on earth. This suggests that his speed caused an even greater time dilation than that of the angels. Meaning time for him moved even slower relative to earth's time. The journey of the prophet peace be upon him was different from that of the angels in crucial way. Instead of 50,000 years passing on earth, only 5 hours passed. This is an enormous difference. If the prophet had traveled at the same speed as the angels, then just like them, at least thousands of years would have passed on earth while he completed his journey. However, this did not happen. Instead, he went to Jerusalem, ascended through the heavens, reached beyond the universe, and returned all within just part of the night, less than 6 hours on Earth. If we use the same scientific principles that apply to the angels, we find that the prophet peace be upon him must have moved at speed that is not just faster than light, but trillions of times faster than light. speed so great that the normal laws of physics, as we understand them, no longer apply. This means his speed was so extreme that time practically stopped for him while he traveled. But how was this possible? How did he cover such an immense distance and witness so many events in such short time? I'll explain that shortly. First, let's focus on his journey to the first heaven. In Jerusalem, the prophet peace be upon him was brought the mirage, the celestial ladder by which the spirits of the children of Adam ascend. With Gibbrel, peace be upon him, by his side, he began his ascent until they reached one of the gates of the nearest heaven known as Bab Alhafaza. At this gate stood an angelic guardian named Ismael, the custodian of the lowest heaven. He resides within the wind and never ascends to the heavens nor descends to the earth, except on the day the prophet, peace be upon him, passed away. Before him stood 70,000 angels, each commanding an army of 70,000 more. Gibrill requested the gate to be opened and voice asked, "Who is this?" He said, "Giril." Then the angel asked, "Who is with you?" He replied, "Muhammad." Angel said, "Has he been sent for?" Gabriel said, "Yes." The angel then welcomed him saying, "Welcome to him from his own family. May Allah grant him long life. noble brother and deputy. What an excellent brother and deputy. What an honored visit this is." The gate was opened. And as they entered, they saw Adam, peace be upon him, the father of humanity, in his complete form, just as Allah had created him. before him. The souls of his believing descendants were presented and he would say, pure soul, righteous spirit, place it in the highest realm." Then the souls of his disbelieving descendants would be shown to him and he would say, wretched soul, corrupt spirit. Place it in the lowest depths of hell. Siejin." the prophet peace be upon him. Then noticed two vast groups before Adam, one on his right and one on his left. To his right was great multitude with gate emanating beautiful fragrance and to his left an equally large group with gate releasing terrible foul stench. Each time Adam looked to his right, he would smile with joy. And whenever he turned to his left, his expression would turn sorrowful and he would weep. The prophet greeted him and Adam returned the greeting warmly saying, "Welcome, righteous son and noble prophet." The prophet then turned to Gabriel and asked, "What is this, Gibril?" Jabril explained, "This is your father, Adam. The dark masses before him are the souls of his children. Those on his right are the people of paradise, and those on his left are the people of the fire. When he sees those destined for paradise, he smiles with happiness. And when he sees those bound for hell, he grieavves and weeps. The gate on his right leads to paradise. And every time soul enters, his joy increases. The gate on his left leads to hell. And each time soul is cast into it, his sorrow deepens. The prophet, peace be upon him, described an extraordinary angel he encountered in the first heaven. Half of its body was made of snow, while the other half was fire. Yet neither element affected the other. The fire did not melt the snow, nor did the snow extinguish the fire. The angel called out in powerful voice, "Glory be to my Lord who prevents the cold of the snow from putting out the fire and the heat of the fire from melting the snow. Allah, the one who unites opposites, unite the hearts of your believing servants." The prophet peace be upon him asked Jabril, "Who is this?" Jabril replied, "This is an angel whom Allah has stationed at the farthest boundaries of the heavens and the earth." asked, Jabril, what is the name of this one?" He replied, "Muhammad, it is called Habib, and it is the finest guide and counselor for the people of the earth." Imam Al Shami narrates that the prophet, peace be upon him, saw large group of people gathered around table filled with the finest grilled meat. Yet they ignored it. Instead, they turned to pile of rotting, decaying flesh and ate from it. The prophet peace be upon him asked, "Who are these people, Gibbrel?" Gibbrel replied, "These are the adulterers. They abandon what Allah has made lawful for them and indulge in what he has forbidden." As the prophet peace be upon him continued, he saw another group, people with bellies as large as houses, filled with snakes that could be seen writhing beneath their skin. Every time one of them tried to stand, they would collapse, crying out, Allah, do not let the hour come yet." As they struggled, they were trampled by the followers of Pharaoh on their way. The prophet peace be upon him asked, "Who are these Gibril?" Gibril replied, "These are those from your ummah who consumed us. They cannot stand except like one possessed by Shayan." Moving forward, the prophet peace be upon him saw another group of people. Their lips were like those of camels and their mouths were forced open as they were pelted with stones. He asked, "Who are these, Gabriel?" Gabriel replied, "These are those who unjustly consumed the wealth of orphans. They have filled their bellies with fire, and they will be burned in it." According to the manuscript Al Tam Walamal, the first heaven is composed of dark smoke. The distance between the earth and the first heaven is said to be journey of 500 years. Whether this means 500 years at the speed of light or more, we do not know. The width of the first heaven is also described as spanning 500 years of travel. Everything that exists in the known and unknown universe, planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, pulsars, all lie within this first heaven. Yet despite all our advancements, we lack the power to cross beyond it. In fact, Allah the Almighty has directly challenged both humans and jin to do so if they can. In Surah Alman, Allah states, company of jin and men, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority." Even though the jin possess abilities that allow them to travel through space, they still cannot cross this divine boundary. As mentioned in Surah Aljin, they themselves admit, "We used to sit in positions to hear in the heavens. But whoever listens now will find burning flame waiting for him." And we had thought that we would never be unable to escape Allah in the earth. Nor would we be able to escape him by flight. Quran 72:12. If even the jin with their capabilities cannot escape beyond the first heaven, then we as humans are far from having the technology or understanding to do so. But why is it impossible to pass through the heavens without Allah's permission? have explained this in detail in my history of the universe series. You can find the link to that video in the description. Let's move forward. The prophet peace be upon him said, "Jibil ascended with me from the first heaven to the second heaven faster than the blink of an eye. The distance between them was journey of 500 years, and its width was the same. When gazed upon it, saw that it was made of gleaming iron, and its name was Kaidum, foremost." Gibril approached its gate and knocked. An angel answered, "Who is there?" Jabril replied, am Jabril." The angel asked, "And who is with you?" Jabril said, "Muhammad, the messenger of God." The angel then welcomed him, saying, "Welcome to him from his own family. May Allah grant him long life, noble brother and deputy. What an excellent brother and deputy. What an honored visit this is." The gate was opened and as they entered the prophet peace be upon him saw two noble figures. Jisa Iban Mariam Jesus son of Mary and Yaha Ibn Zachariah John son of Zechariah the sons of two sisters. They bore striking resemblance to each other in both appearance and clothing. Jesus, peace be upon him, had medium build, fair complexion, and curly hair that flowed down as if he had just emerged from bath. Both were surrounded by large gathering of their people. The prophet, peace be upon him, greeted them, and they returned his greeting warmly. Then they said, "Welcome, righteous brother and noble prophet," and invoked blessings and goodness for him. The prophet peace be upon him and Jabril then ascended to the third heaven reaching it in an instant faster than blink despite the vast distance of 500year journey with its width stretching the same. The third heaven was made of copper and was known as mucun powerful. Upon arrival, Jabril knocked on its gate and one of its guardian angels responded, "Who is there?" Jabril replied, am Jabril." The angel asked, "And who is with you?" Jabril answered, "Muhammad." The gatekeeper inquired, "Has he been sent?" Jabril confirmed, "Yes." Upon hearing this, the angel welcomed the prophet, peace be upon him, with great honor, saying, "Welcome to him from his own family. May Allah grant him long life, noble brother and deputy. What an excellent brother and deputy. What an honored visit this is. The gate was then opened for them to enter. Upon entering the third heaven, the prophet saw Ysef, Joseph, peace be upon him, surrounded by large gathering of his people. The prophet greeted him and Ysef warmly returned the greeting saying, "Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet." He then prayed for his well-being. Ysef had been granted unparalleled beauty. One narration describes him as the most handsome of all Allah's creations. His beauty outshining others as the full moon surpasses the stars in brilliance. The prophet then asked, "Who is this, Jabril?" Jabril replied, "This is your brother Ysef." In the blink of an eye, the prophet peace be upon him and Girril ascended to the fourth heaven. The distance between the third and fourth heaven was journey of 500 years and its thickness spanned the same. This heaven was made of gleaming white silver radiating with light. Upon reaching its gate, Jabril knocked and one of the guardian angels responded, "Who is there?" Jabril replied, am Jabril." The angel asked, "And who is with you?" Jabril answered, "Muhammad." The gatekeeper inquired, "Has he been sent?" Jabril confirmed, "Yes." Hearing this, the angel warmly welcomed the prophet, peace be upon him, saying, "Welcome to him from his own family. May Allah grant him long life. noble brother and deputy. What an excellent brother and deputy. What an honored visit this is. With that the gate was opened and they entered. There the prophet saw Idris peace be upon him whom Allah had raised to lofty station. The prophet greeted him and Idris returned the greeting saying welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet. He then prayed for the prophet's well-being. Prophet Adris peace be upon him was the first prophet to be taken up to the heavens alive. Allah the Almighty says about him and mentioned in the book Idris. He was truthful prophet and we raised him high in the heaven. Prophet Idris peace be upon him also known as Enoch was the first prophet to write and Allah revealed 30 scriptures to him. Interestingly, among the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in modern times is book called the book of Enoch, which describes his visions and journey through the heavens. Innu Jar reported on the authority of Hilal Ibn Yasaf who said, "Ibnu Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them all, once asked Kab in my presence, what is the meaning of the verse?" And we raised him high in the heaven. Cabb replied, "Allah revealed to Idris, would raise for you every day the same amount of deeds as those of all Adam's children." Perhaps this referred to the deeds of his time only. So Idris wished to increase his deeds. When friend from among the angels visited him, Idris said to him, "Allah has revealed to me such and such. So could you please speak to the angel of death so that could increase my deeds?" The angel then carried Idris on his wings and ascended to the heavens. When they passed by the fourth heaven, they met the angel of death who was descending. The angel conveyed Idris's request to him. The angel of death asked, "Where is Idris?" The angel replied, "He is upon my back." The angel of death said, "How amazing. was sent to seize his soul and was told to meet him in the fourth heaven. kept wondering how could seize his soul there when he was still on earth. Then he took Idris's soul at that very moment. This is the meaning of the verse. And we raised him high in the heaven. Let's return to the question of how the prophet peace be upon him was able to travel beyond the heavens from scientific perspective. The Mirage was an interstellar and interdimensional journey of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him that took place in just one night. key point to note is that the prophet did not travel beyond the seven heavens on the Barack. Instead, he followed specific path, one through which the spirits of the children of Adam ascend and the angels travel. One such path, or perhaps the very same one, is mentioned in the Quran. The angels and the spirit ascend to him in day, the length of which is 50,000 years. In the last episode, we applied the Lawrence time equation from special relativity to calculate that angels traveling through this path move at the speed of light causing extreme time dilation where 50,000 years on Earth equates to just single day on that path. But in the case of Mirage, something extraordinary happened. The prophet peace be upon him traveled beyond the seven heavens. Yet on Earth, only few hours had passed, not 50,000 years. This tells us something fascinating. Using the principles of special relativity, we arrive at striking conclusion. To cover such an immense distance in just few hours, the prophet must have traveled far beyond the speed of light. For perspective, Islamic sources describe the distance from Earth to the first heaven as journey of 500 years, with the width of each heaven also spanning 500 years. Following this pattern, the total journey through all seven heavens amounts to 7,000 years of travel. However, what remains unknown is the unit of measurement. whether one year of that journey equals an Earth year, lightyear, or perhaps something far greater like 50 light years. Yet, despite this staggering distance, the prophet completed the journey in mere hours. According to our current mathematics, traveling such vast distance within that time frame would require speeds far exceeding that of light. And this is where conventional physics reaches its limits. Our equations falter, our understanding collapses, and the laws we thought were unbreakable no longer hold. However, by combining insights from modern theoretical physics and Islamic cosmology, we can attempt to understand the journey of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. For deeper understanding of the seven heavens, recommend watching the video linked in the top right corner. The Mirage was not just journey through space, but transition across higher dimensions. In physics, we are familiar with three spatial dimensions: length, width, and height. Time is often considered the fourth dimension, but theories like string theory propose the existence of many more dimensions beyond these four. These extra dimensions could be hidden, folded in ways we cannot normally perceive. According to an authentic hadith, the first heaven, which contains everything we see, the stars, galaxies, and all celestial bodies, is like tiny ring in an endless desert when compared to the second heaven. Similarly, the second heaven is like ring in desert when compared to the third. And this pattern continues up to the seventh heaven. This suggests that each heaven is incomprehensibly larger than the one before it. If we interpret this using physics, it aligns with the idea of higher dimensions where each subsequent level is exponentially larger and more complex than the previous one. Thus, the heavens beyond our own can be understood as higher dimensions and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him ascended through these dimensions during his miraculous journey. To grasp this concept, imagine 2D being, creature that lives on flat sheet of paper. It knows only left, right, forward, and backward. If 3D human were to lift this creature off the paper, it would disappear from the 2D world without ever being seen moving through it. From the 2D being's perspective, the human just vanished and then reappeared elsewhere. Now apply this idea to our universe. If higher dimensions exist, and indeed they do, traveling through them could create shortcuts, bypassing our conventional understanding of distance and time. This is where the concept of portals and dimensional gateways comes into play. The journey began when the prophet peace be upon him ascended from earth to the first heaven. This first transition was already extraordinary moving from 3D world into higher dimensional space. In the hadith, when the prophet and Gabriel reached the first heaven, there was gate and guardian angel asked who was there. Gabriel identified himself in the prophet and only after receiving permission were they allowed to enter. This description aligns with the idea that each heaven was sealed off from the one below it requiring specific conditions to pass through. In modern physics, similar concept exists in the form of brain theory which suggests that our universe is like membrane brain floating within higher dimensional space. If two brains are stacked, the only way to move between them is through special passage, what scientists call wormhole or an extra-dimensional gateway. When the prophet and Jabril passed through the gate, they weren't just traveling through space. They were transitioning into higher dimensional realm. As the prophet ascended, he and Gabriel continued to move through gates, separating each heaven. Each of these gates marked transition into realm far greater and more complex than the previous one. This is exactly how scientists describe higher dimensions. Each one exponentially larger and more complex than the one before. Imagine traveling from small house into vast mansion, then from the mansion into an entire city, and from the city into an entire planet. The heavens were not just larger in size, but fundamentally higher in dimensionality, meaning they contained more information, more possibilities, and likely different laws of physics. crucial aspect of this journey is that time did not behave normally. The Mirage presents major time paradox. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him traveled through all seven heavens, met many prophets and saw various realms. Despite this vast journey, when he returned, only few hours had passed on Earth. Since each heaven represents higher dimensional realm, time in those places could behave differently from Earth. Just as different locations on Earth experience time zones, higher dimensions could have their own time structures. Time in one heaven may flow faster, slower, or even be nonlinear compared to our world. So the prophet, peace be upon him, could have experienced the events of Mirage outside the normal flow of earthly time, allowing him to witness an entire journey while Earth's clock barely moved. Previously we covered the journey up to the fourth heaven. Now let's continue onward. As the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him ascended through the heavens guided by Gibbril, they reached the boundary of the fifth heaven. The journey between the fourth and fifth heaven spanned distance of 500 years of travel and its vast expanse stretched just as far. Yet the prophet peace be upon him and Gibbrel crossed this distance faster than the blink of an eye. When they arrived, the prophet peace be upon him observed the fifth heaven, marveling at its splendor. It was made of red gold, shining so brilliantly that its light was almost blinding. This heaven bore the name Al-Musaina, the ornamente. As they approached its entrance, Gabriel called upon the guardian angel to open the gate. The gatekeeper, as with the previous heavens, inquired, "Who is there?" Jabril answered, "It is Jabril." The gatekeeper asked, "And who is with you?" Jabril replied, "Muhammad." The guardian angel then questioned, "Has he been sent?" Jabril affirmed, "Yes." Upon hearing this, the gatekeeper welcomed the prophet peace be upon him with great honor and joy, saying, "Welcome to him from his own family. May Allah grant him long life. noble brother and deputy. What an excellent brother and deputy. What an honored visit this is." With these words, the gate was opened and they stepped into the fifth heaven. Inside the prophet peace be upon him encountered Harun Iban Imran the brother of prophet Musa peace be upon them both. Harun stood before gathering of the children of Israel engaging them with story. The prophet peace be upon him noticed Harun's striking appearance. His beard was half white and half black reaching down to his navl due to its great length. When the prophet peace be upon him greeted him, Harun returned the greeting warmly saying, "Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet." Then he invoked blessings upon him, praying for his goodness and success. The prophet peace be upon him turned to Jabril and asked, "Who is this?" Jabril replied, "This is the beloved among his people, Harun Iban Imran." The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Jabril continued their ascension through the heavens and reached the sixth heaven, realm known as Alcalisa, the pure. As they approached, the prophet peace be upon him, observed that the sixth heaven was made entirely of gems, glistening with radiant light. The vastness of the journey between the fifth and sixth heavens was equivalent to 500 years of travel. And the breadth of the sixth heaven mirrored this vast distance. Upon reaching the gate of the sixth heaven, Jabril knocked and one of the guardian angels responded asking, "Who is there?" Jabril answered, am Jabril." The angel then asked, "And who is with you?" Jabril responded, "Muhammad." The gatekeeper inquired, "Has he been sent?" Jabriel confirmed, "Yes." Upon hearing this, the gate to the sixth heaven was opened and the prophet peace be upon him and Gabriel entered. Once inside, the prophet peace be upon him observed massive dark throng that appeared to cover the firmament. He asked, "What is this throng?" Jabril explained, "This is Musa and his people." As the prophet, peace be upon him, looked up, he saw another vast dark mass filling the expanse of the sky, stretching out in every direction. Jabril explained, "These are your ummah, and besides them, there are 70,000 among them who will enter paradise without giving an account." As they continued forward, the prophet, peace be upon him, encountered Musa, Iben Imran once again. Musa appeared as tall man with brown complexion resembling the noble men of Yemen known for their pure lineage and manly virtue. The prophet peace be upon him greeted Musa and Musa warmly returned the greeting saying welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous prophet. Then Musa invoked blessings upon the prophet peace be upon him praying for his success and goodness. As the prophet peace be upon him reached Musa, he noticed that Musa was weeping. The prophet peace be upon him asked him, "What is it that makes you weep?" Musa replied, weep because child sent after me will bring more of his people into paradise than have from mine." The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Jabril continued their ascension through the heavens, reaching the seventh heaven, the highest and most exalted realm. Upon arrival, Jabril asked for the gate to be opened, and the guardian angel asked the same questions. After that the gate was opened and the prophet entered. Inside the seventh heaven the prophet peace be upon him saw majestic scene. Ibraim the friend of Allah was sitting upon throne of gold at the gate of paradise. The back of his throne rested against the inhabited house, Alb Mammur, place filled with divine light and great number of angels, continuously engaged in worship and remembrance of Allah. The prophet peace be upon him greeted Ibrahim and Ibrahim warmly returned the greeting saying, "Welcome to the righteous son and the righteous prophet." As the conversation continued, Ibrahim offered piece of advice to the prophet peace be upon him, "Order your community to increase their seedlings of paradise for its soil is excellent and its land is plentiful." The prophet peace be upon him inquired, "What are the seedlings of paradise?" Ibrahim replied, "The seedlings of paradise are the words, there is no change nor might except with Allah, the high, the almighty. The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him observed that alongside Ibraim there sat group of people whose faces were as radiant and flawless as blank sheet of white paper. However, there were others seated with them whose faces carried faint imperfection. These individuals stood up and moved toward nearby river where they immersed themselves. Upon emerging from the water, their faces had already begun to show signs of improvement as some of their imperfection was washed away. They then entered another river where they bathed once again. Upon coming out of this river, their appearance had further improved. Finally, they entered third river and upon emerging from it, their faces were completely purified, their appearance now matching that of their companions. Seeing this, the prophet peace be upon him turned to Gabriel and asked, Gabriel, who are these people with the white faces, and who are those with something in their faces? What are the rivers in which they bathed?" Jibil responded, "The ones with the white faces are those who never stained their belief with any form of injustice or disobedience. They remained steadfast in their faith, keeping it pure and free from sin. The ones with something in their faces are those who mixed good deeds with bad ones. However, they repented sincerely and Allah in his mercy forgave them. As for the rivers, Gabriel continued, "The first river represents Allah's mercy. The second symbolizes his favor and the third is the pure drink that Allah grants them as mentioned in the Quran. And their Lord gave them pure beverage to drink. The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was then informed. This is your place and the place of your community. He saw that his community was divided into two groups. One group wore garments as pure and white as blank sheet of paper, while the other group wore clothes that were the color of ashes or dust. The prophet, peace be upon him, entered the inhabited house, Albid al- Mamur, accompanied by those in white garments. As they entered, the group dressed in ashcolored clothes was unable to follow. Despite this, they remained in the best of states, unbburdened by their inability to enter. Within the inhabited house, the prophet, peace be upon him, prayed, leading the believers who were with him in worship. Each day, 70,000 angels enter the inhabited house, never to return until the day of resurrection. This house is positioned directly above the Cabba. So precisely that were stone to fall from it, it would land at top the Cabba. Once the angels enter the inhabited house, they are never allowed to see it again, marking the immense honor of this celestial sanctuary. In one version of the narration, the three vessels representing milk, wine, and water were presented to the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him at this place. The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was then raised to the lot tree of the farthest limit, Sidat al-Mutaha, point beyond which no creation can ascend or descend. This is the boundary where all that ascends from the earth is seized and where everything descending from above is also halted. The tree itself is magnificent creation. Its base is the source of several rivers. Rivers of pure water, milk that never changes in taste, wine that brings only pleasure, and purified honey. The shade of the tree is so vast that even someone traveling for 70 years under it would not reach its end. The tree's fruit resembles the jars of hijar near Madina. And its leaves are as large as the ears of an elephant. In fact, one of its leaves is large enough to encompass all of creation. On each leaf sits an angel whose task is to cover it with colors that defy description. Every time the angel covers it by Allah's command, the color changes. According to one narration, the leaves shimmer like sapphire and crystallite, their beauty beyond any human praise. Upon the leaves, moths of gold alike, adding to the ethereal beauty of the scene. From the base of this tree flow four rivers, two hidden and two visible. The prophet peace be upon him asked Gabriel, "What are these, Gabriel?" Gabriel replied, "The hidden rivers are two rivers of paradise, and the visible ones are the Nile and the Euphrates." In another version, it is mentioned that at the base of the tree, spring called Salabil flows. From it, two rivers emerge. The river of Cowthar and the river of mercy. The prophet peace be upon him gazed at the river of Cthar and saw it flowing with great force as swift as arrows. Along its banks were pavilions made of pearls, sapphires, and chryslite. And on top of these pavilions, delicate green birds nested, more beautiful than any the prophet had ever seen. The river flowed over pebbles made of sapphire and emerald, and its water was whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. The prophet peace be upon him took vessel from the river, scooped up some water, and drank. He found the taste to be unlike anything on earth. Gabriel informed him, "This is the river Allah has granted you as special gift. The other river is the river of mercy." At the lot tree of the farthest limit, Sidraat al-Mutaha, the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, beheld Gabriel in his true angelic form. Jabriel appeared with 600 wings, each wing large enough to cover the entire firmament. From the wings, sparkling embellishments were scattered in every direction. Pearls and sapphires beyond human comprehension with beauty that only Allah knows. From here, the prophet, peace be upon him, was led to the river of Kathar, journey that took him to the gates of paradise. As he gazed upon paradise, he saw that it contained wonders beyond human imagination. What no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and no mind has ever conceived. Upon the gate of paradise, the prophet read an inscription. Charity is repaid tenfold and the loan is repaid 18fold. The prophet peace be upon him was curious and asked, Gabriel, how can the loan be more meritorious than charity?" Jabril explained, "Because charity can still be given by one who may have unmet needs, whereas the borrower only borrows when his need is fully fulfilled. The prophet peace be upon him continued his journey and came across rivers of milk which never lose their taste, rivers of wine bringing only pleasure to those who drink it and rivers of purified honey. Over these rivers were domes made of hollowed pearls so vast in circumference that they were comparable to the Aquarius star, sight beyond any earthly comparison. Then the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was shown the fire. In it he witnessed Allah's immense wrath, punishment and the severity of divine sanction. He saw that if rocks or iron were thrown into the fire, they would be consumed completely, disappearing into its fierce flames. Within the fire, there were people eating kerrion, torment that reflected their deeds. The prophet peace be upon him inquired, "Who are these, Gabriel?" Gabriel replied, "These are the ones who consumed the flesh of others, spreading slander and engaging in wrongful behavior towards people." Next, the prophet, peace be upon him, saw Malik, the stern and unwavering custodian of the fire. Malik's face bore an expression of anger reflecting the gravity of the fire and its torment. After this, the gates of the fire were closed and the prophet peace be upon him was lifted beyond the lo tree of the farthest limit where cloud concealed him from everything around him. Jabril stayed behind keeping his distance. Then the prophet peace be upon him was taken to place where he heard the scratching of the pens as they wrote the divine decree. There he saw man who had vanished into the light of the throne. He asked, "Who is this? Is he an angel?" The answer came, "No." He then asked, "Is he prophet?" Again, the reply was no. He inquired then who is he? It was said this is man whose tongue remained moist with the remembrance of Allah in the world whose heart was attached to the mosques and who never brought upon himself the curse of his father or mother. It is important to clarify crucial point here. There is group of people who claim that the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him saw Allah the Almighty during the mirage. However, this claim is not true. Masuk ibn al- Ajdat reported, "He asked Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her." mother, did the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, see his Lord?" Aisha's face changed and she said, "What you've said makes my hair stand on end." Know that anyone who tells you one of the following three things is liar. First, anyone who says that Muhammad peace be upon him saw his lord is lying. Then she recited the verse, "No vision can grasp him, but his grasp is over all vision. He is the most courteous, wellacquainted with all things," she continued. Second, anyone who says the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him knows what will happen tomorrow is liar. She recited the verse, no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow. And third, anyone who claims that the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him concealed any part of the revelation is lying. She then recited, apostle, proclaim what has been revealed to you from your Lord. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, concluded, however, the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, did see Gabriel, peace be upon him, in his true form twice. The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, did not see Allah the Almighty, but he did converse with him. During this conversation, Allah spoke to him and said, Muhammad," the prophet peace be upon him replied, "wise at your service, Lord." Allah then said, "Ask for whatever you desire." The prophet peace be upon him said, "You took Ibrahim as your intimate friend Khalil and granted him vast kingdom. You spoke to Musa directly and gave Dawoud great kingdom, softening iron for him and subjecting the mountains to his command. You gave Sullean an immense kingdom, subjecting the jin, men, devils, and even the winds to him, and you granted him kingdom like none that will follow after him. You taught Isa the Torah and the Gospel, making him capable of healing the blind and the lepers, raising the dead with your permission and protecting him and his mother from the cursed devil, so that the devil had no path to harm them. Allah replied, "And have taken you as my beloved and intimate friend, Hhabib and Khalil. have sent you to all people as bearer of glad tidings and warner. have granted you the last verses of Surah Al-Bakar, which are treasure from under my throne, gift that gave to no prophet before you. have bestowed upon you Alcowathar. made 50 prayers obligatory upon you and your community. Therefore, establish them, you and your community. Then the cloud that enveloped the prophet peace be upon him was lifted and Jabril took him by the hand guiding him onward until they reached Ibrahim peace be upon him who did not speak. Next the prophet peace be upon him arrived at Musa who asked what did your lord impose on you and your community. The prophet replied he imposed 50 prayers every day and night on me and my community. Musa said, "Return to your Lord and ask him to lighten your burden and that of your community. For in truth, your community will not be able to bear it. have experienced the dispositions of people before you. tested the children of Israel with something easier than this, but they were too weak to carry it and abandoned it." Those of your community are even weaker, both in their bodies and their hearts, their sight and their hearing. The prophet peace be upon him turned to Jabriel for advice. Jabril signaled to him that it was possible to return. The prophet peace be upon him quickly returned to the tree where the cloud again enveloped him and he fell prostrate. He said, "My Lord, lighten the burden on my community for they are the weakest of all communities." Allah replied, have removed five prayers from their obligation." The cloud was lifted and the prophet returned to Musa, peace be upon him, and told him, "He has removed five prayers from my obligation." Musa replied, "Go back to your Lord and ask him to make it even less, for in truth, your community will not be able to bear that." The prophet peace be upon him continued going back and forth between Musa and his lord and each time Allah reduced the number of prayers by five. Finally Allah said Muhammad. The prophet responded twice at your service Lord. Allah said let there be five prayers every day and night and let each prayer count as 10. That makes 50 prayers. This decree of mine shall not be changed, nor will my book be abregated. Whoever intends to do good deed but does not carry it out, will still receive the reward for it. And if they do it, they will receive 10 times the reward. If someone intends to commit bad deed, but refrains, nothing will be recorded against them. And if they commit it, only one misdeed will be recorded. The cloud was lifted again and the prophet returned to Musa and told him, "He has removed five prayers from my obligation." Musa, peace be upon him, replied, "Go back to your Lord and ask him to make it less. For in truth, your community will not be able to bear that." The prophet said, have gone back to my Lord so many times that now feel too shy to ask further. Rather, accept and submit. At that moment, voice called out, have decreed my obligation and lightened the burden on my servants. Musa then said to the prophet, "Return down in the name of Allah." As the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him descended, he did not pass single group of angels without them advising him. You must practice cupping al-hajama or in another version order your community to apply cupping. While descending, the prophet peace be upon him asked Jabril, "Why is it that every person met in heaven welcomed me and smiled at me except for one? greeted him and he greeted me back and welcomed me but he did not smile. Jabril replied, "That was Malik, peace be upon him, the custodian of the fire. He has never smiled since the day he was created. If he had ever smiled for anyone, it would have been for you." When the prophet, peace be upon him, reached the nearest heaven, he looked down and saw dense cloud of smoke filled with clamor. He asked, "What is this, Gabriel?" Gabriel replied, "These are the devils who swarm over the eyes of human beings to prevent them from contemplating the dominions of the heavens and the earth. If they did, they would witness wonders." The prophet, peace be upon him, then mounted the Barack again, which he had tied in Jerusalem, and departed. As he traveled, he passed by caravan of the Quraysh. He noticed camel carrying two containers, one black and one white. As he approached the caravan, stampede broke out, causing the caravan to turn around. The camel was thrown to the ground and its freight broke open. The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, then passed by another caravan that had lost one of its camels, which the tribe of soandso had rounded up. He greeted them and one of the members of the caravan recognized his voice saying, "This is the voice of Muhammad." Afterward, the prophet peace be upon him returned to his companions in Makkah just before dawn. As the morning arrived, the prophet peace be upon him sat alone, aware that people would doubt him, and he felt despondent. At that moment, Allah's enemy Abu Jahal passed by and sat down next to him, mocking him. He asked, "Has anything happened?" The prophet peace be upon him replied, "Yes." Abu Jal pressed, "And what is that?" The prophet peace be upon him responded, was taken on night journey last night." Abu Jal asked, "Where too?" The prophet peace be upon him replied to the sacred house. Abu Jal then asked, "And you woke up here among us?" The prophet peace be upon him answered, "Yes." Fearing that the prophet peace be upon him might deny saying this if he told others, Abu Jal decided not to reject the claim immediately. Instead, he asked, "What if called your people here? Will you tell them the same thing? The prophet peace be upon him agreed. Abu Jahal then shouted, tribe of the children of Kabib Lui, come here." The people gathered sitting around them. Abu Jaal said, "Tell your people what you just told me." The prophet peace be upon him repeated, was taken on night journey last night." The people asked, "To where?" He replied, "To the sacred house." They asked again, "And you woke up here among us?" He replied, "Yes." At this, the crowd was astonished. Some clapped their hands, others held their heads in disbelief, and many gasped in amazement, considering it an extraordinary claim. Al- Mutamebu said, "Before today, all of your actions were tolerable, but what you said today is beyond belief. bear witness that you are lying. We strike the flanks of our camels for month to reach the sacred house and then another month to return. Yet you claim that you went there in single night. by alat and al- usa do not believe you. Abu Bakr may Allah be pleased with him replied, Mortam, it is grave thing you have said to your brother's son, accusing him of lying when you confronted him like this. As for me, bear witness that he has spoken the truth." The people then asked, "Muhammad, describe the sacred house for us. How is it built? What does it look like? How far is it from the mountain? The prophet peace be upon him began to describe it to them. Its structure is like this. Its appearance is like this. Its proximity to the mountain is such and such. As he continued describing, he began to feel uncertain about the details. In that moment, he was shown the mosque itself in Jerusalem, brought before him as if it were right there. The people then asked, "How many gates does the mosque have?" He had never counted them before. He looked at the gates, counted them one by one, and gave them the exact number. All the while, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, was affirming, "You have spoken the truth. You have spoken the truth. bear witness that you are the messenger of Allah." The people seeing his accurate description said, "As for the description, by Allah, he is correct." Then they turned to Abu Bakr and asked, "But do you believe what he said that he went last night to the sacred house and returned before morning?" Abu Bakr replied, "Yes, do believe him. And believe him regarding matters even further than that. believe the news he brings from the heavens whether in the span of morning or an evening journey. Because of this unwavering trust in the prophet Abu Bakr was given the title alsik the trustworthy and truthful. They said Muhammad tell us about our caravans. He replied as was returning saw the caravan of the tribe of so and so. They had lost one of their camels and were searching for it everywhere. When reached their mounts, no one was with them, but found water bottle and drank from it. He continued, "Then reached the caravan of the tribe of so and so at such and such place. saw red camel carrying one black container and one white one. As came face to face with the caravan, there was stampede, and that camel fell, breaking its freight. After that, reached the caravan of the tribe of Soandso in Altanium. It was led by grayish camel covered with black haircloth and carrying two blackish containers. These are the three caravans that will soon arrive from the mountain pass. They asked, "When will they arrive?" The prophet peace be upon him replied, "On the fourth day of the week." On that day, the Quraysh went out expecting the caravans, but the day passed and they did not arrive. The prophet, peace be upon him, then made supplication, and the day was extended by one more hour during which the sun stood still and the caravans finally arrived. The people went to meet the riders and asked them, "Did you lose camel?" They replied, "Yes." They then asked the second caravan, "Did one of your red camels break its freight?" They replied, "Yes." Finally, they asked the first caravan, "Did anyone lose water bottle?" One man answered, did by Allah. had prepared it, but none of us drank from it, nor was it spilled on the ground." At this they accused the prophet peace be upon him of sorcery. Then Allah revealed the verse. We did not make the vision which we showed you except as test for mankind.
