ain't that man. What's up, honey pies? And welcome to new video. This week, I'm going to test some new art materials that my friend gifted me. The Faber-Castell gold Goldfaber Aqua. So, this is landscape landscape set called Tuscany. So, guess it's very Italian color scheme, Italian landscape color scheme. So, we have this dark green. Now, let's try that blue. my god, love that color. Perhaps if was color, would be that blue. Now, we have that kind of reddish, don't know, red-brownish. Yeah, that's fine. Now, let's try this kind of ochre, don't know, like that's nice. That's actually like chartreuse-ish. Then, we have that orange. Yeah, okay. Yeah, like that. And lastly, we have the brown. That's yeah, pretty basic brown. Nice. Okay, cool. Cool, cool, cool. So, those are supposed to be water soluble, so let's try them out with my water brush. Okay, so they're not very smooth as transition. Like, for now, say I'd rather paint than use this, but get the vibe. get the vibe. Okay. And the blue literally disappears. Okay, that's nice. Okay. Then that kind of red is pretty hard to move around. Okay, that's nice. The lines don't move that much, which is good. don't want to have them spread all around. But the blue one literally disappears. So that can be nice, but it can also suck. So I'm going to have to plan little bit with that blue, think. Okay. Now what happens if mix some green with some brown? Can we have the darkest color ever? Yeah. So yeah, it moves around, but it's not the smoothest result. Perhaps in while drying it could be better. We'll see. Okay. So we've tried them. They're not that bad, really. from in the camera they go they come out really good. I'm going to be honest with you, it actually comes out better in the camera than in real life. But maybe it's perk for me. Maybe in prints it would be good, don't know. Hey, we are now outside. Welcome. We are adventuring very close from home, but still. we are going to test those markers in the wild. So, I'm taking walk with Mimi. think squirrels are finally out. Which is very exciting for the little baby. So, yeah, we're going to find something interesting to draw. And then we're going to test those markers. To see how efficient they are. My guess is that they're not that good for winter time, cuz winter time has very specific color palette. But hey, mean what risk are we taking really? So, let's find spot and let's get there. Some dogs are pissed. All right, so think we found our view for today. I'm going to make it pretty quick because it's still cold out here. It is presently 11, but felt temperature 4° So, we're not in the warmth of spring yet, which can't wait for. Yeah, without further ado, let's get that thing started. So, I'm going to try and draw Mimi. That dog is annoying. I'm going to try and draw that tree here in the foreground with little bit of trees in the background and put that big green patch of land over there behind it. So, I'm going to tweak the my god, deer. Did you see that? There's deer. maybe that's why that dog is annoyed. Let's do the side, baby. another one. Look. Hey. Wow. What? So, think that's why that dog is freaking crying. think he's tied up next to that little airport kind of thing here. And perhaps he saw the deers. That's my guess. Okay, so yeah. Tree tree, green snow. One thing in me. Did you see that dog? Maybe it's hunting dog. He was He was really following those deers. Well. Let's sum it up. Final review. think those markers are nice. think it's good alternative to watercolors. you can also water them down, which you could do with Crayola markers, but it they're not really meant for this, so it doesn't flow really efficiently, you know? So, think that's good thing. I'm glad have them in my kit. Does it beat classic watercolor? No. Nothing beats the flowiness of paintbrush and pure pigments. The granulation that you can get, the gradients that you can get, the overall feeling and range of values that you can get, in my eyes, is not beaten with this type of supply. But, it's very nice addition to have. And if you don't have any watercolor markers, would recommend that you try it for yourself. buy small kit and just play with them, you know? Don't go on and buy like the 150 colors to start with, but try them out and you might like them. So, yes. Okay, so think am done. That's this kit.
