Hi I'm Georgina from Twinkl And in this video we're going to look at different ways that you can use this counting worksheet from our website To complete this worksheet your children have to simply count the objects and write how many there are in circle However there are number of different ways that you can use this worksheet too! Some children may find it easier to physically count out the objects! You could carefully cut out all of the pieces and get your children to count each object one at time They can then fill in the worksheet or write the answer on whiteboard! Another skill that your children could practice whilst completing the worksheet is creating tally Once they've counted each group of objects can they create tally of how many of each object there was? There's even an opportunity to practice addition skills See if your children can add two different groups of objects together and get your children to write the number sentence and the answer This is great for practising number formation and writing the correct mathematical signs Using this worksheet your children could also practice creating patterns You could challenge your children to create three different repeating patterns To make this resource reusable you can laminate it or put it into plastic wallet Your children could then complete it using white ball pen and once they finished they could simply erase the answers off On our website we've got lots of other accounting resources as well as selection of amazing lesson videos So why not go take look, see you next time!
