Alhamdulillah. All praise and thanks belongs to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon his servant and final messenger Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. So, alhamdulillah, we completed the Omrah and now the people that are in Mecca are awaiting the start of the days of Alaj. And the Hajj begins on the 8th of this is the day that is known as Yom the day of quenching the thirst. We're going to speak about this day. But now as you are intending al and you are in Makkah you finished your person should remain in Mecca and not go anywhere too far and he should await until the eighth day of and of course as we mentioned we are speaking about the one who is doing and then he's following up his with and of course the one that is doing and his The mukin and the muid are also going to be in Mecca at this time and they are now going to and everyone is going to head out to Mina on the 8th day of so just before you leave the hotel to go to Mecca or to go to Mina the Haj is recommended once again to do show and this is to enter the state of once Again theam for the Hajj. So we complete and of course pondering and focusing on the fact that this is worship not just random shower. So at this very time you need to connect with this worship in the sense that once you do and withinul there is that's how you beginul that will wipe away sins and it is bringing you closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Once that is finished and this is of course for both men and women and even if woman is menstruating she is also recommended to perform this and when you're doing this you focus on the ayah in where Allahawel said Allahel he loves those who repent often and he loves those who purify themselves. So this bath, thisul that you are taking now in preparation for your and your is means in how you can earn Allahel's love because Allahel loves those who purify themselves. Whether the purification is externally by washing the body and keeping it hygiene and clean or whether the purification is internally by cleaning the heart from sins and from bad qualities and bad emotions and so on. Always turning to allahel in asking him for forgiveness. The diseases of the heart we're speaking about such as envy, jealousy, hypocrisy, these are diseases that may lie in the heart as you're performing the shower and as you come out seeking Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's forgiveness, then this is means in how Allahel or this is means in how person earns Allahel's pledge pleasure and his love. Afterwards the men would wear theam and we did mention in the umrah that person remove his clothes all of them and puts onam and once we wear theam and the woman as well wears heram which is just her clothing afterwards we want to enter the state ofam with the intention so now we are recommended as you are still in Mecca or as you're on bus on the way to Mina, you will say and with these words you have entered the state ofam and you are now heading towards Mina to begin your we say which means Allah am here answering your call to al and the woman would say the same thing despite Perhaps some woman having their menstruation, they are still recommended and advised to say it would be worship for everyone to say this that is intending. And now it is time to say brothers and sisters in Islam it is to be said when moving from one location of to the next. So think of think of the like ofat is said when we're moving from one position of the prayer to the next. So the is to be said when you're moving from one location of the hajj to the next. So as you're moving from Mecca to Mina, you will say along the way and you'll continue to say this until you reach your destination. Once you reach then the is to be stopped and you engage in other matters of aikar and what we will speak about. But this is what is. And then when you move from Mina the next day to you will say the and when you move from that night going to you will say. So it's supposed to be said when moving from one place to another until you reach the stoning on the day of and then the will be stopped altogether and person will not do that anymore. So that's how begins and that's how it ends. And this is when it's to be said. So think of it as the moves you from one position to another. And this is to be said when you're moving from one location to another. So now you've left Mecca, you're in your you've entered the state ofam by saying and also you have began at and you are on your way to Mina. Once you reach Mina, you find where your designated area is and you enter the tent and you secure your place and you put your belongings and you sit down in Mina and you rest. Now you're supposed to ask what do do in Mina and how do spend this day? Firstly, let me talk about something that is very important and that is the mercy and the compassion that the Haj the one doing at Hajj is supposed to have in his heart towards others. Be merciful, be compassionate and be humble and be kind and be caring, soft, gentle person. There is no need to get angry and frustrated in alush. All this anger and frustration it removes and it reduces the reward of al hash and sometimes it could possibly destroy and damage your hash. So we want to be care very careful in how we behave throughout the days of al hash. These are days that should bring us closer to Allah and should reform our character so that we can become more gentle and humble Muslims. So why say this? Because when people arrive to Mina, there are so many people in one tent and people may become frustrated that this is my bed, this is my bed, this is my space, move from here. People become frustrated with each other and this is not of the believer's character especially during the days of al and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has said allahel he said anyone who has obligated upon him anyone who has entered the state of on the day of the eth and said, "Allah said Allahawel forbid any warn." He said, "Then do not commit any." And is foul language, illspoken words. can also include sexual words that person speaks to his spouse whether she's with him or he is with her or whether on text messages to his wife or her husband that is back home. So we need to avoid anything that is related to that and also foul words swearing at each other cursing each other all this is from and allahel said no so that means control your tongue and watch how you behave and what you say to other people with you while you are doing allahel said and no disobedience no disobedience in how can it make sense You are going seeking Allah's forgiveness and mercy and disobeying him at the same time. This is why allahel said they also considered disobedience and pay attention to this. They said that if person has habit of committing sin and then just before al he paused it and he planned he intended to return to this sin after al that intention and planning of returning to the sin is disobedience in itself. So that would tarnish al and damage it and reduce from its reward. So if you're upon sin and you have an addiction and having hard time breaking this addiction or this cycle of the sin, then at least you make TBA before the Hajj and you intend in your heart never to return to that sin ever again. And after Hajj, if was able to overpower you and you fell into this sin because of weakness and desire, you get up and you make Ta and you turn to Allahel and so on. The main thing is that when you do you must intend never to return to the sin. So that is very important. If you intended to pause and you'll go back to the sin after al that is as others have mentioned. So this would be disobedience. So Allahel said no foul language and no sexual language is included in that. Then allahel said no disobedience for anyone has entered the state of intending and finally allahel said and there should be no arguing in al and that's what I'm warning you my brothers and sisters in Islam with the same warning that allahel gave us when you're in that state of and in don't argue do not argue unless person is arguing intending to reach the truth in his argument, then that's fine. But to argue just to support your view or to make point or to prove point or to belittle someone else or to humiliate someone, then that is completely forbidden. And the one that is in the state of state of performing should avoid all of this. There is another in where we recite So this is different to the first one. The first one's means don't argue with one another in then there is another mode of recitation. And if we recite then that means there should no there should be no argument concerning the itself. So don't argue with one another about the method of alj and how al haj is supposed to be conducted because the hadith and the narration concerning how haj is performed is very simple and easy and it's authentic. There should be no arguing with one another concerning matters of alaj and how they're supposed to be conducted. So these are the two types of arguments that we should keep away from and that is in fact what is subhan Allah he said the righteous Hajj has no reward but the paradise. What is the righteous Hajj? The righteous Hajj is the one in which you kept away from foul language, illspoken words and you kept away from disobedience and you kept away from arguing with others. That is the righteous Hajj. And also man came to the messenger sallallah.aihi wasallam and he said what is the righteousness of Hajj? How do make my Hajj righteous? sai wasallam said to him to feed others to provide food and meal for others and to also be soft and gentle in your words and in your speech. So you see that how beautiful is this on one end allahel tells us don't speak foul ill words and on the other end and sall wasallam tells us that the righteous hajj is hajj in where soft gentle words are spoken and this brothers and sisters in Islam if you to maintain this type of attitude and words throughout the six days of alaj that's going to reform your character in an unbelievable way no Other course on earth will teach you how to become gentle and humble other than alaj six days. Today people do anger management courses and it takes them few months. Six days of alaj if you are to adhere to the instructions of the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam. You watch and see what kind of character character reform it will create in your heart and in your entire life. So this is what we want to adhere to the instructions of to make the most of our Hajj and all this am discussing it to you. As said to you once you reach Mina this is where you may become frustrated. You may become angry. You see the lines at the bathroom is very long. the heat of the sun, people are pushing in in the line for getting the food in Mina and in other places of Alaj. This may frustrate person, but you need to control yourself. You need to humble yourself. If there is someone that is elderly that is awaiting in the line, perhaps bring him before you so that he can take his food and his meal before you. And this is part of the righteous Hajj. Remember Nabi sallallah.aihi wasallam said the righteous Hajj is the one in which you feed others you provide meal. remember once was in Hajj and as walking as was walking someone gave me little bag and it just had loaf of bread and piece of cheese in it. Subhan Allah. took it to go back to my group and to give them lesson concerning this matter. said, "How much did it cost this man to buy bag, very thin plastic bag, and put inside of it loaf of bread and piece of cheese?" And he's intending to feed others in alash. How simple the deed yet how great the reward is. This is the spirit of al and this is how people should behave with one another when it comes to al. And if you do so wall, it's going to have an great impact in your life for the rest of your life until you pass away and you meet Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So you arrive to Mina and this is going to be your attitude soft humble and keeping away from disobedience, illspoken words and to keep away from arguing with one another. When you are in Mina and this is the eighth day of it's called comes from the word means to quench your thirst because the day of Mina was day that eighth day of Mina it's supposed to and it was meant for the to collect water and fill their barrels with water and their water skins with water. Why? Because the next day they are leaving to and infallam. So this was the are busy filling their vessels and their barrels with water to carry it with them until they reach the next day and they will survive on that water. They will drink that water. Subhan Allah. Allahel has blessed us today. We don't face this problem anymore. Today we go to and there is lot of water bottles. We go to Malifa and there's so much water. It's there before you even get there. So we need to appreciate this blessing of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And as result, we need to make the most of the day of Mina. If we're not going to spend that eighth day of of of in collecting water, then that means we should spend it in subhanahu wa ta'ala in reading the Quran in making dua in seeking asking Allahel for forgiveness and asking him subhanahu wa ta'ala to grant us the strength and the ability to carry on in Hajj and to complete this Hajj in manner that is pleasing to him subhanahu wa'ta'ala. When the prophet sallallah.aii wasallam reached Mina on the eighth day of the he performed all the prayers on their time. So he did not combine the prayers. So he prayed on its time on its time on its time and on its time and of course shortening the prayers because person is traveler. And then the next morning he would pray on its time of course and once the sun rises then the begin to move from Mina for the next day of their and the next location which is so when you are in Mina you want to also reflect over the naming Mina. This location is called Mina. Why is it called Mina? Mina comes from the word. It means to hope and it means to wish for things. That's what it means. So when you are in Mina, the idea of the naming is that this is place to spell out your wishes and your requests and your hopes to Allahel through dua. This is where you hope for things. This is where you hope for things. Ask Allahel for the things that you hope for. Raising your hand and making dua. And we all hope for the paradise. So ask Allahel for the paradise. We all hope that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala frees our necks from the paradise. And don't forget that these days are still from the 10 best days of the year. These are the 10 days of the eighth day of is from these 10 days and these are the best days on earth. And of course the best nights of the are the last 10 nights of Ramadan. But the best 10 days you are living them now as you are in Mina. So you need to make the most of them in terms of worship. Allahel took an oath by these days when he said Allahel took an oath by these days. These are he said and swear by 10 nights. They said these are the 10 days and the 10 nights of said to us, "There are no righteous deeds that you do that are more beloved to Allah than the righteous deeds you do on the 10 days of and the companions they said not even we know Jihad to be from the greatest deeds that believer could ever do said to them. Not even would equal to the reward you will gain from doing other righteous deeds on these 10 days of except for man who left and did not return with his wealth and with his body. In other words, he was martyed. That would be the only best deed better than the other worships that you will do on the 10 days of Abdul. So brothers and sisters in Islam, you need to be aware of these matters and you need to make the most of these days in terms of righteous deeds especially on the 8th. And as said to you, alhamdulillah, the government over there has provided so much facilities for us. Air conditioning, water, food. You literally don't even have to walk anywhere to source your water or your food. So make the most of the worship of Allahawel. Praising Allahel for these blessings, focusing on the recitation of the Quran and perhaps taking this time to read about al and what you're about to do the day after and the day after and so on. Take it day by day so that you're able to perform al with the maximum possible knowledge that allahel gives you. And brothers and sisters in Islam, conclude with one matter and that is that the people of the past, the people of the past so many times they used to finish al and used to return to their families and speak to them about the blessings Allahel bestowed upon them throughout the days of Alash. This is how they used to greet and meet the people. They would sit with them and they would say, "Alhamdulillah, Allahel allowed us to go to Mina. Alhamdulillah, we went to alhamdulillah, we did such and such onf." And they're praising Allah, thanking him for every blessing they experienced throughout Hash. Today is different story. Today, when people go back to their families, they begin to complain of the hardships and the difficulties they went through. despite the Hajj today being so much easier than centuries ago. So don't fall into this matter that so many people fall into. They go back to their families and they say, "Yeah, it was very difficult. We were waiting for the buses. We got to the tent. There was so many people. It was overcrowded. The bathrooms were nightmare. This was that. The food wasn't all that. The water was hot. They didn't provide us with anything cool and cold. Their conditioning wasn't working. What is this? People begin to speak about the hardship and the calamity and they begin to complain. Subhan Allah. And if you compare the facilities we have today to hundreds of years ago, you will find that what we have today is that was never imagined in the previous people that came on earth and went past those lands. So don't fall into this trick and into this trap of shaitan. Rather you go back to your family with great memories from Mina and great memories and you inform them about how Allahel has made this Hajj so easy for us all with the air conditioning and the food provided and the water provided and so on. This is how the the believer should behave with and this is the day of of course the next day which is the ninth day of we pray once the sun rises the believers would move from to they will move to and that would be the greatest day of because Haj is all about this is the greatest pillar of al if person did everything in al and missed the standing on completely then his entire Hajj is rejected and not correct. So this is the main pillar of al and inshallah tala in our next episode we'll speak about and what the believer should be doing on until the sunset of that day.
