good morning grade six out everybody saying while and you ready for today's listen so let's get started so yeah have some pictures of South Africa's most famous tourist attraction see right so totes attractions we know are places they're tourists come to visit and see that in our beautiful country so the first picture have is of Sun City and then we have our famous Table Mountain we have our Kruger National Park with all the animals we have Robben Island and we also have boulders beach we all the Penguins are right so those are some examples of South Africa's tourist attractions some of the most popular destinations okay so you can go to page 112 in your text books today we'll be learning how to write short information text so it is short information text writer shoot information takes over part 9 sentences to explain why South Africa is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world include visual materials such as graphs tables and diagrams and in our textbook they give us another example of gold reef city in Johannesburg it's very popular tourist destination was also seeing myself that was an amazing experience all the rides and all the candy floss and the chocolates and the sweet it was really fun time so that's one of the destinations so now we're looking at the before you right so we know before we right we always plan so you will need to draw mind map that says find out the facts and figures you need find information in newspapers magazines in the library and on the internet plan what you're going to write use mind map like the one you see you - how you brainstorm your ideas that's they're giving us an example of mind map so you can use this template to fill in all your ideas that you find from your research and then you draw your mind map and you put all your information in it so once you've completed your mind map you then write your after off you edit it and you do your final so it says write your ideas out in rough give you rafter off to someone else to read so there can be anybody in your household give free get feedback and edit your work remember to check for grammar spelling and punctuation okay so once you've done your mind map you didn't do your wrath and your final draft and remember it's not lot of work so research it and find lot of facts as possible okay so for homework your actual heading date and page number and throw line so we need to write short information text and remember it needs to be nine sentences which is not lot like said you first make your mind map using the template given in the textbook and then you write your tix with your rough you've and your final and then we will do the brochure tomorrow which is the next part of this activity all right so enjoy researching about Africa's popular destinations and enjoy your walk and I'll see you tomorrow bye
