1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 14 there is clip that's going viral right now of kid showing believe it's his his mother what common core math actually is so you're going to see the mother doing very simple math equation and then the Common Core version of it and then we wonder why kids brains are exploding watch this when was in school Lucas all we did at here so this is going to be 13 carry the one and I'll go 1 + 4 is 5 + 1 is 6 that's my answer let me how you show how it's actually done how it's actually done okay these are the 10 and that's the ones okay four times in one 2 3 4 5 6 7even and then seven ones one more 10 okay and one 2 three 4 5 okay 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 14 10 20 30 4050 okay this one to be with it's friends so it goes up to 50 and then it counts one more up so it will make 63 that's how you do it okay times have definitely changed all right I'm not kidding next time you come on the show we're doing the thing where we're in the Box while we're showing these videos that is one of the most insane things I've ever seen people have been I've seen other things about common core and how crazy it is but when you now see one so why so many young people's brains have been blown up not just because of the gender stuff but because of that like you can see why Democrats want everybody in state schools and don't want school choice and don't want Home Learning because people might start waking up and going you people are all bananas had driver couple weeks ago who was doing homeschooling for his kids and so my kids are all in normal school will say that I've loved the I've got three boys 16 14 and 10 loved all their schools their teachers have been fantastic got no issues with for the record you're in Tennessee you're not or San Francisco but had driver recently and he was walking me through his homeschool curriculum and said how much time do your kids spend actually on the curriculum every day said two and half hours and then he's like and then they have the rest of the day to pursue whatever might interest them and said man you know kids go to school for 7 hours every day and and he was walking me through he said it's just wildly inefficient the way that we spend the time to educate the kids and do think about lot of that when see the way that this stuff is being just trying to fill the day super inefficient right I'm big and I'm sure you are too we have lot of things going on you got young kids got kids I'm big in my home studio I've got my writing desk I've got my radio seat and then I've got my TV setup all within couple of feet of each other in general don't want to that's why want home why you have this here we work lot and it requires lot of prep and everything else but if can synthesize it all the same place hey can finish my show and can go downstairs and can be dad can turn that that thing in like 10 minutes and just think that so much of what we do in education is wildly inefficient
