I've read the entire Quran as non-Muslim from cover to cover. And what found in here absolutely blew me away. And in this video, I'm going to share with you all my favorite verses that eventually led me to accepting this book as the way of life because honestly, this book is like no other. And if you stick till the end of this video, I'm even going to try to recite the Quran for you. Now one of the first things that you read when you open up the Quran is in surah bakar it says this is the book the Quran in which there is no doubt it is guidance to those who are mindful of God and their purpose in this life. that sounds interesting, right? The book in which there is no doubt. Let's discover if that's the case. Because have to be honest, in the beginning whenever someone spoke about religion, really saw it as very till. didn't believe any of the stories. was like, "All right, fair enough. If you believe it's true, then it's fine." But for me, it just all felt very weird, to be honest. But the moment started looking more into religion in general was the moment was the deepest in my life. mean since very young age I'm running my own businesses and at that time it was almost like 2 three years ago had failure after failure loss after loss was in depth and didn't know what to do and that's when one of my great friends approached me who actually was Muslim he gave me this book and he said listen whatever you're going through it is meant to be it is meant to be like this it's meant to make you stronger life is test you know look into it and was like that's pretty interesting because even though wasn't really religious person. was really into self-development. And one of the most important things in self-development is that you understand that everything happens for reason because if you do that, it makes you better. And now let that be one of the most important rules of Islam. mean in many many verses that highlighted here in this book myself, Allah talks about the fact that this life is temporary thing. It is test. For example, right over here in Surah Bakar, it says, "And surely we will test you with fear and hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but we give glad tidings to the patients for those who understand." It's just fascinating how this book constantly reminds us that this life is temporary. In chapter 57, it says, "Know that this worldly life is nothing but play and amusement, adorment in competition in wealth and children. It's like rain for farmer, but soon after it dries out." It's it's so true if you actually think about it. What are we doing? We are in competition of wealth, showing off on Instagram and all these like it's super weird actually because eventually we will all die. When started reading this book, one thing was very clear from me right away. But it doesn't stop there. mean, when speaking about life as test and all the hardship that comes on your path, God describes in in the Quran beautiful thing. It actually describes two things and you can find that back actually in two verses that absolutely love. And one of them is in chapter 2 where Allah says that he will never burden soul beyond what it can bear. Or here for example I've highlighted another one in chapter 94 verse 5 and 6 where it says surely with every hardship there is ease. And he repeats it one more time in this verse that comes after truly with hardship comes ease. And these two two verses basically tell you that every single test every single hardship that comes on your path is trying to improve you. It's trying to make you better person. What are these two verses telling you? mean it's so powerful you know it tells us that every single hardship every single test that comes on your path is meant to be there it's meant to make you stronger because what just read is like Allah does not test soul beyond what it can bear so no test no hardship is there without reason right so at this stage when started to understand like okay life is test there's intelligence behind it there are some things that need to learn it started to be become bit more interesting but mean it's still book right like was still having all these questions so the first thing that started asking about like okay mean the question we all ask is like is this been written by person or does it really come from higher power and it's super interesting when you look into that how the creator acknowledges himself he literally does it throughout the whole Quran by asking questions back to us instead of we asking the questions we get the questions back and it's so fascinating mean God invites us to look at the signs for example right over here chapter 51 in verse 20 and 21 it says and on planet Earth, there are signs for those with certainty and there are signs in yourself as well. Why do you not see it? It's literally asking question, why do you not see it? We we constantly look at our phones these days, but if you literally just take step into nature, you look at the complexity of of the universe, the sky, the the stars, the nature, water, the fact that we are able to breathe and and it says here as well, and there are signs within yourself. mean, look at the complexity of our bodies. The fact that I'm even able to speak, that I'm able to see, smell, and and hear. It's actually something that we never think about, right? And to be honest, before looking into religion, was fascinated by science. And still am. And the beautiful thing is that the more started reading this book, the more saw that it's it's absolutely in line with science. And people always think like religion and science, they don't go hand in hand, but it actually it actually does. In chapter 21, and this is one of the verses that actually started to really convince me. It says, "Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were once joined together and then we split them apart?" This this is the big bang. mean, this is the theory that science like literally started thinking about little while ago, like maybe 10020 years ago. And it says after that, "And we made every living thing from water, H2O." mean, our bodies are 70% water. How did the prophet know that like so long ago, like, 1400 years ago? And then the last question of this verse, will they then not believe? It's like constantly asking questions. It's asking questions back to us like how do you not see it? And then there is this other chapter chapter 55 which is called Alman the most gracious is one of the names of God of Allah that is described in the Quran. It is an entire chapter to this acknowledgement of questions and how this chapter is described. It is constantly giving signs such as here it says he created man and taught him how to speak. He gave him all the tools to be able to speak. Or here another sign, the sun and the moon move in precise calculation. This is one of the first here. And then every single time when he throws these signs in here in this chapter, it is repeating the same question. So which one of God's favors will you deny? It is constantly giving signs. Look at nature. Look at the animals. Look at this. What are you? How more many more signs do you need? How can we deny these favors of our Lord? So at this point myself started to really understand that there must be creator and that life is test. For example here in chapter 23 verse 115 God says do you think we created you without purpose and that you will not be returning back to us. So it reminds us of the fact that there is purpose in this life because you will die. Do you think you will not be returned to us? He created you and he will also take your life. We don't know when we're dying. So there is purpose. And also another verse that is here in chapter 13 where it says indeed Allah will not change the condition of people until they change what's within themselves. It's super proactive religion. mean also the fact that you need to pray five times day to stay in line with your connection with your creator is one of the most important things in this religion. It is you taking action, you looking for the truth, you seeking the help of your creator. It's like it's super super inspiring. But all right, it talks about finding your purpose and that you are not created without purpose. But then then what is the purpose? One of the most powerful verses that really describes the number one purpose of us as human beings is described in chapter 51 where it says and God did not create the gins and mankind except to worship me. So here it actually shows that the number one purpose of us is to acknowledge and worship the one creator. And this might sound little bit confusing. had that in the beginning as well like why are we created to worship? But then when you leer into it like what is worship? Worship is not just like praying all day. Worship is living life that is in line with the religion with whatever it gives the goods and the bads. And here in few verses later he is the one who created death and life to test you and to see who is the best in deeds. So it constantly reminds you of the fact that at some point we will face death and it's all test. It's test to see who's the best. It's like playing video game but then the game of life. And the beauty of Islam is when you really look into it, we have rules for everything. And that's why say like it becomes an outline of life. When you start understanding the details, it's like whole new world opens up to you. But then still, okay, it's test to see who's the best in deeds. Worship is like doing things that are aligned with Islam. But okay, but then how does it work? What is really the thing that we need to do in order to you know to find the answers? First of all, then we need to go back to the second chapter. believe it says right over here it says you who believe seek guidance through patience and prayer because indeed Allah is with the patience. So one of the first most important things when life tests you with hardship and all the ups and the downs and everything that goes crazy. mean most people start following their desires. Drugs, alcohol, like social media, addictions, gaming, like all these things. Everyone is always going crazy. There's always these ups and downs and people are find it so hard to manage themselves and stay balanced, right? And here the first thing that it says the answer to being tested for those who believe it is through patience being patience and prayer. And like said, got gifted this book when was at the deepest point of my life. had my emotions going up and down, left to right. didn't had any grip on life. And to be honest, like in the beginning when was running my businesses, did it for the wrong reasons. had these material goals. wanted to impress people. But also right over here in chapter 31 18 and 19, it says, "Do not turn your face away from people in arrogance, nor walk with pride on earth. Indeed, Allah does not like the arrogant and bustful. Walk modestly and lower your voice because the most repulsive sound is the donkey's brain. It's like it literally gives all these examples of of the fact that we just need to humble ourselves. And this especially in this time and age that we live in right now is it's so important, right? mean, open up social media, do few scrolls and you see people like bragging, having this huge ego, thinking that they are God. Like it's like we live in very weird world. And that's why also think that the more crazier this world is going to become, the more you also see split into society. It's either you go left or either you go right. And that's where this verse comes into place. In chapter 23, in one of the first verses, it says, "Successful are indeed the believers, those who are humble in their prayer, avoid vain talk, who give in charity, and who guard their chesty." mean, when was younger, had all these ups and downs. It felt at some point that I've seen all parts of life. followed my desires. have to be honest. was lost at some point, but also saw successes with my businesses. saw lot of money. have I've been in depth. have all these these things. And whatever did, good or bad, it never really felt good in my heart. It never felt fulfilling because also when you strive for material things, there's always more to gain, always more to have. So it's basically like all path that you can take in life whether it's striving for lot of money, girls, addictions, alcohol, all of it, it will never lead to true fulfillment. Most of the time it's just like the simple things are the things that really counts. And this book truly reminds you of that. And even in this verse that just gave you, it's the true definition of success is when you are humble and in line with your religion. So started seeing all these beautiful verses and conversations that had in the meantime with Muslims that could like explain little bit because have to be honest like you have these beautiful verses in between but if you read the whole book without any knowledge it can be bit confusing as well. So combined it with lot of conversations and all of that and of course there is beautiful side but there's also another side because religion comes with heaven and hell right like it's either if you succeed you go to heaven or when you don't when you fail the test you go to hell. So there's also negative side to the story, warning. And one of those warnings are given in the end of the book where God swears by time that mankind, all mankind is in loss except from those who believe, do righteous deeds, encourage the truth, and encourage each other to patience. So here it says it again, true success comes from being in line. It comes from believing doing the right things and encouraging others to the truth and encouraging others to patience because otherwise you will be in loss and basically like it is true all other path in life lead to lust leads to no fulfillment it leads to distraction and waste of time that's also super interesting but that that God here swears by time is running out it's temporary but it's not the only place where God where Allah warns us about the consequences also for example here in chapter 20, one of the last verses, it says, "But whoever turns away from this reminder, they will have miserable life and they will be raised blind on the day of judgment." That's interesting. So when looked into that, was like, "They will be raised blind on the day of judgment." And then when kept reading it was it said this, "They will say, my Lord, why have you raised me blind when could see?" And then God says, "Just as our signs came to you and you ignored them, so are you blind and ignored today." This is this is absolutely like actually giving me goosebumps. The reminders are there. The warnings are there. We gave you the book. We gave you the signs. We gave you all but you ignored it and you just kept living your life without you know listening to the reminder. Also here for example in chapter 41 it says and on that last day their ears their eyes and their whole body will testify against them for what they used to do. So it literally says all of your limbs, your hands, your your ears, your all of it can be against you on the day of judgment if you did wrong things with it. mean, it's very interesting like you got eyes from God. You got ears from God. You got like brain, like hands, like body. What did you used to do with it? All of it can be against you or be with you on that day. And that also brings me to one of my favorite verses and most powerful reminders that I've found myself in the Quran. This religion, Islam, tells you that there is day of judgment. already talked about this in this video. After we die, there is day where all of us are going to be judged and then we will hear if we're going to hell or heaven. But the way that is done is so confronting but also inspiring at the same time. So here it says in chapter Isra says, "And on the day of judgment, we will bring forth to each person book which they will find laid open in front of them. And it will be said, read your book. You alone are sufficient this day to take account for yourself. Whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And who and whoever who chooses to stray, it is only for their own loss. Like just like I'm reading book right now, but you will get handed book into your hands where it literally everything will be described in there. Literally everything. Because later in the Quran it also describes in in surah and when this book will be placed in front of the disbelievers the sinners will look fearful of what's inside of it and they will say who to us what is this book it leaves nothing small or great except that it is in this record and they will find everything good or bad of what they have done in this book and then it ends with saying and your Lord God does not wrong anyone so he will judge everyone based on actually what they did and this is absolutely giving me goosebumps because when you think about it, mean you can act nice in front of the camera, you know, on social media or when friends are around you, you can play cool and be nice, but who are you when you are alone in your room? What are you really really striving for in this world? What is truly in your heart? Listen, before we move on, like actually think of it. Your life is is gone. You are dead. And and you get book in your hand that describes everything you did. can can actually cry about that. Like how can you not wake up and be super motivated only for this book alone? mean personally when learned about this got so motivated whenever feel down I'm like okay no don't want in my book to read that I'm that I'm slacking that I'm like not productive. It's like absolutely motivating to me and it should be to all of us right because that's also what want to say right over here. There are lot of warnings and yes there is hell and there is heaven but the religion didn't came to scare us. mean here for example in the 10th chapter which is called Eunus one of the prophets it says no doubt the believers the friends of God they will have no fear nor will they grieve they are those who believed and were mindful of him and for them is good news both in this life and the hereafter so first of all it describes that when you listen to this these things and when you put it into action what you read in this book that there's nothing to be afraid of or little bit later it says the same thing basically in chapter 20 the chapter starts with literally saying we did not send the Quran to you to cause you distress. It has come here as guidance and mean literally like literally every single chapter that you read in this book starts in the same way except from one. Every chapter starts with which means in the name of God the most gracious the most merciful and then you give two names alim the most gracious the most merciful the most forgiven. There are so many names in which Allah describes himself. There are actually 99 names that are described throughout the whole Quran in which the names the names of of God. few names such as alafur the most forgiving aladud the most loving the accepter of repentance. But one of the the names of Allahab it's like the accepter of repentance. Whenever you regret an certain action you repent and he will accept it. It is about what is in your heart. Or one of the other names, the provider. He provides you with everything. Salam the source of peace. It is like and this list continues. There are so many different names in which he introduces himself and it describes that God is the source of love is the source of peace, the bringer of peace. And in multiple verses and one of the most important rules of Islam is who is God. For example, here in in this surah, this chapter, it says indeed am Allah. am God. There is no god except me. So worship me alone and establish prayer for my remembrance. And these are one of the foundational rules. If you look at the most important pillars of Islam, it starts with sayingahillah illallah there's only one god. mean how many religions have like all types of different gods and all types of different things that they worship or like idols or statues or like the real god is unseen. mean even science can prove that when you look into the smallest atoms they have energy around it. Like where does this energy come from? All these things that you see around here are small particles that are hold together and we understand that. But where is this power coming from? That's Allah. This is how he introduces himself. Just like said in the beginning, all these unique things and aspects of of of the universe. What is behind that? That is the only one creator. And then one of the questions that had was like okay it all sounds very logical but this religion only came 1400 years ago and and humans have existed for hundreds of thousands of years. So how does how does that work? And this is lot of like misconceptions that people have including me when started out learning about this religion. It is that Islam didn't start 1400 years ago. It was completed 1400 years ago. Because in the beginning in one of the first chapters in chapter 5, God says in surah maida verse three it says today have perfected your religion for you and completed my favor upon you and have chosen Islam as your religion and your way of life. So this is actually the last verse that has been written down into this book. All of the verses were revealed to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, prophet peace be upon him. But it wasn't in in in the order of how this book has been put together. All of the verses and you can look into this, you can search it online. Every single verse in here has an story behind it. There was moment and time where this has been revealed and it's applicable to the life of our prophet. Whenever he was in stress, he got like verses that were relevant for that situation. Whenever there was times of war or rules for marriage, rules for business, like this book includes everything. But the last verse that was sent down to the prophet was this one. perfected your religion for you. And was surprised whenever started reading, saw all names that you also see in Christianity. saw names like Jesus, Abraham, Moses. They are all in the Quran. And was super confused about religion because sometimes mean especially for me as western like person growing up in Europe like most people are Christian but was always super confused about this religion. There were worshiping person Jesus but like is God like person like this? didn't believe in that. was super confused but the Quran gave all the answers that needed. mean here in one of the first chapters what it says is this. And we send prophets throughout history as bringers of good news and warners at the same time. And we send down to them books in truth of justice between people. And also in chapter 6, and this is one of the most powerful ones that made me realize like, wow, this is absolutely inspiring. It says, "We gave Abraham two sons, Issach and Jacob. We guided both of them." And then it continues, "He were there were not the only ones. David, Solomon, Job, Yseph, Moses, Aaron. These were all messengers of God. Zakaria, John, Jesus, Helas, Ismael, Jonah, Lot, like all these names, we already know them from the times of the Jews, the Christians. But here, God speaks to them again. All of these people were actually messengers of God who all came with the same message from the first human being, Adam, from Adam and Eve, all the way through Moses, Jesus, and eventually to prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. All of these prophets got one message. It wasahill. there's only one God. But then what is wrong with the Jews or the Christians or like why are they different religions? Right? So in Islam they believe that Christianity and the message that Jesus originally got like originally was the truth. So also in the Quran it it describes the Jews and the Christians and the Muslims as the people of the book. They belong to one religion. But the Jews and the Christians they have divided. There's even whole chapter in the Quran that is called Maria the mother of Jesus and the whole truth about Jesus. For example, right over here it says Jesus said indeed am servant of Allah and he has given me new scripture and made me prophet. So prophet he's not God he is prophet that came with message. And then in another chapter it's also described that on the day of judgment Allah God will ask to Jesus did you ever told the people take me and my mother as gods you know to worship them besides me and then Jesus will respond glory be to you God. could never say what had no right to say. only told you what you commanded me. Worship God alone, my Lord and your Lord. So then it started to make sense like from the first human being all the way to here, there were prophets with the message, the same message. And one thing we haven't even talked about yet is the scientific facts and miracles of the Quran. The only thing basically described was the Big Bang theory. Every single animal, every single living thing is being made out of water. like these things and but there are many many more scientific like verses that were not proven by science yet in that time. mean 1,400 years ago this Quran has been put together what's been revealed to the prophet Muhammad wasallam. For example also here in in chapter 51 it goes deeper into the same verse that talks about the big bang kind of theory. It says and the heaven we have constructed with strength and indeed we are its expender. So God is expanding it and this is what science proves. Science proves that the universe is expanding. Or here for example, he created the day and the night and the sun and the moon all moving in perfect orbit. And did you know that iron doesn't come from planet earth? It comes from somewhere out of the universe. And the Quran says that mean science found that out later. But it already was described in the Quran. How is that possible? Every single person has unique fingerprint. It's also in the Quran. And also the Quran came in time where the Arabic world really started more looking into poetry. You know all these rhymes and these things and but this was something that could never be written in those times and even right now by human being. Let me actually try to show you how all these verses rhyme with each other. mean I'm in the process of also starting with Arabic memorization. am far from you know being able to memorize the entire Quran but I'm doing my best. Let me actually recite to you the first verse of the Quran which is one of the most powerful ways of also asking for guidance. Alhamdulillah canister. can keep talking about this forever. Honestly, this is just tiny part of the Quran. The miracles, the It's beautiful. And this is just the Quran. We haven't even talked about the sunnah, the teachings of the prophet peace be upon him. It's there's so much more. And if you want to see and learn more about this, then just subscribe, leave comment of what you would love to see, and I'll see you in the next video, inshallah. said,
