Hi, I'm Emily and I'm on mission to pick up 1 million pieces of litter and my day job is as substitute teacher. For the last 12 weeks I've been filling fourth grade position while their teacher's been out on maternity leave and got to end my 12 weeks on teacher appreciation week. So got whole bunch of presents throughout the week and one of my students asked if would open hers on camera. So I'm going to do that today and show you guys some of the other things that got just because like to open gifts on camera. These are all of the letters and love notes that got from my students which were so sweet and definitely keep every single card I've ever gotten in my life. So those are going to go in that box. And then got this really nice little gift basket. Throughout the week the school was providing us with breakfast, lunch and little snacks and also got this cute little journal that says "May be proud of the work you do, the person you are and the difference you make." Which think is very sweet and it came with pen. This is from one of my students. And he gave me bunch of candies and granola bars and that's so cute. This one came from the teacher was subbing for. Inside is cup that came with straw, some socks, little candle, some gift cards, little sunflower which is my favorite flower and she didn't know that so it was just perfect. And little bookmark. So this is from the teacher and I'm just so appreciative of her. Her class was amazing and it was fantastic 12 weeks. One student gave me this little squishy with some Tootsie Rolls and candies. And then the student that wanted me to open the gift on camera. So this came from three of the girls in my class. They got me this water bottle, this little bouquet of flowers, poppet, another poppet, and the letters that they wrote for me. So, thank you so much to all of my students and the teachers that did everything for Teacher Appreciation Week. know as substitute, I'm technically not the teacher, but was there for 3 months and they made me feel so welcome and so loved. I'm just so very proud of them and the hard work that they did in my class. It's very bittersweet feeling leaving them. my goodness. Ugh. Oof. They made me feel so very loved and that was very sweet and I'm very very happy for all these gifts that got. They're very sweet. And then this showed up in my mailbox and have no idea what it is. It feels like book and didn't order anything. So, figured might as well open this on camera as well since like to open all the gifts that get from you guys. It is book. It doesn't have the traditional note that get in my packages so know who to thank, but it does say Samantha on here. So, maybe this is from Samantha. If so, thank you so much, Samantha. And this is book called The Big Beach Cleaner. I'm so excited to read this to you guys. still have several books that need to record myself reading as well. So, I'll add this to my little list so that I've got going, but it's definitely content to come up in the future. And love that you guys like hearing the books that read. try to keep them very on theme with what this project is about and do believe that it all starts with education and letting kids know about the effects of litter so that they can grow up to be adults that also care. know definitely started when was kid because my mom said to leave places better than we found it. So, will be reading this and the other books that have and then my own book is going to be coming out very soon. did get the rights to the book, so it will be up for sale this week. will keep you guys posted. So, thank you so much to the person that sent the gifts and thank you so much to the students and teachers who did so much for me while was subbing. just feel so incredibly loved and I'm so grateful for everything that received.
