hey everyone and welcome back to my channel in this video we will learn about cardinal points the compass is an instrument which shows directions so we can find places easily directions tell us where people and objects can be found the four main cardinal points can help you find your way if you get lost the cardinal points are east west north and south on the compass the stands for north the stands for south the stands for east and stands for west here's tip for you the sun rises in the east and sets in the west if you stand facing the east where the sun rises your left hand points to north and your right hand points to south your back will be to the west try it out and see let's take closer look what is to the south of the tree the taxi well done what is north of the tree the school good job what is east of the tree the stop sign well done okay let's recap the four main cardinal points are east west north and south the compass is an instrument which shows directions check on my video on how to make compass please subscribe and thanks for watching
