The most Outrageous Construction Project of all time

Bingo! Here we go. This is Dr. Pete's comfortable universe. We're going to talk about the greatest construction project of all time, and I'm going to get religion. Judeo-Christian, let's just talk about it. Each lot of the really good founding traditions with their with origin stories have story that essentially melds with the story that Our Comfortable Universe is trying to tell. So, Judeo-Christian Bible, Book of Genesis, chapter 1, verse 1. In the beginning, the world was without form, and it was void. The formless void, out of which the breath of God moved over the face of the waters. Now, we've talked about this as the breath of God being the chion the chion the qion. The particle of balloon squeezer particle that got started motion, moved over the face of the waters. The face of the waters the waters was the yin-yangon, the one-dimensional thing that can be squeezed. It still has an intrinsic one-dimensional space. We're talking about constructing something from nothing. Constructing in this formless void out of possibilities, one of which was this YYon which could be squeezed, and the squeezer that could squeeze it. It's just one story. The actual face of or breath of God moving over the face of the waters could have been the story or could be the story that we have for our universe. Or there could be God. It would be simulator or super consciousness within which in its mind the universe is constructed for infinite possibilities and our song of everything is just talking about one, which is belief in the most fundamental simplest, formless void with no consciousness, no nothing. It's simply formless group of dots. Unlimited number of dots. Each dot can interact with every other dot. It's not nothing. It's nothing. It's nothing that allows things to happen if they want from their own each dot's internal perspective. So there is where you have construction project that is it's stunning that it could happen from nothing. You have dot. It's infinitesimal in the sense of measurement of space, but in the formless void there is no such thing as space. It's just another way of talking about that ineffable Tao, the Tao that cannot be spoken, the great empty everything. I've called it the big vacuum. Today I'm calling it the formless void and you know, that's what like the way to call it today. So out of the illimitable number of dots in that thing and the illimitable illimitable number of interactions between the dots anything can happen and we're talking about one possibility where we have the yin yang on, YY on and the keyon. And they come together, the formless void produces vacuuon or space wherein it's normally royal in chaos kind of steps aside in random time or space of calmness, random bit of calmness that allows this YY on to really expand in the power of the keyon to really act before the cosmic big vacuum whack-a-mole mallet comes back down, smashes it back down to nothing. It still does. This construction project requires that within this or that around the edges of this space that the YY on and the keyon create, there are edges. Some kind of other stuff or the size is not unlimited and the size is only measurable from within the thing, but it has edges. It's not infinite. Not in the sense of from the perspective of the great empty everything of the formless void. From that perspective, it remains dot forever. It's never anything more than just an insignificant dot among all the other dots. But within this dot, it created block universe of space and time. Just space and time. No mass, no me smiling, no Easter bunnies. Nothing but bit of space and time. And the massive, unbelievable, almost unfathomable construction project is that somehow within that space and time, within the perspective inside the dot, which is nothing, things started to get constructed. Various things were tried, and well, eventually we got mass. maybe dark matter probably is what came first since it's the most abundant thing. mean, the first thing we got, of course, is the the keyon squeezing the why-y-on and creating this inflation, this power to create massive amounts of space way faster than the speed of light. And then at some point we get this potential that has potential for mass, creates mass. The potential has gravity, and mass also has gravity, but mass has slower speed than light. So, suddenly by taking something out of the big vacuum, beyond the why-y-on and the keyon, we get another thing which creates mass. We don't know necessarily what it is, but the story that we can tell is this just amazingly so, it's random. mean, how could you explain that there's anything fundamental about about the fact that our universe is left-handed? And not only left-handed, it it had to create particle called or force called the weak force, and it had to separate from the previous forces that were there. And I'm just that's that's just one step. don't even know how to explain, describe, and I'm rambling, and that's why I'm really want to focus on telling you that the song 27 is the blog post that I'm introducing with my rambling discussion, which is entitled the greatest unauthorized construction project of all time. You take that dot, you get high-speed inflation. You get the speed of light that gravity moves at. Even before you had any mass, you had the potential energy of the inflation field, and it was an energy that could progress or spread its information only at the speed of light. And then eventually matter comes along, which is definite slower than the speed of light. It had defined speed within the space that's been created that's slower than the speed of light. So, you got three things, very fundamental things, mass, gravity, and inflation. And from those three things, you go on and get creation of particles. The first mass was probably the dark dark matter. somehow the particles came out. I'm I'm just rambling because don't really have specific song and everything story yet. I'm here eventually. But you get, say, the electron. Let's say maybe you get the photon, which probably was the first thing other than dark matter. But you In order to get all those things, matter photon, electron, or anything, you had to have this left-handed universe situation where force only responds to thing that spins left-handed and does not respond to thing that spins right-handed. Now, who ordered that? mean, why is that in any way fundamental? It's only fundamental in the sense that it works. It allows matter to have to take up space, not just to be in space, but to take up space and not allow other bits of matter into it. It's called the Pauli exclusion principle. Ain't too bad all I'm going to talk about today, but the point being that we started with very simple things out of nothing, and out of that the vacuum, the formless void, contains all these other dots, and they're always interfering and interacting with our particular dot, and from them our particular dot chose something or found something that functioned, and it keeps taking things out of the big vacuum and building on them, always within the interior perspective of that dot, which remains dot from the outside perspective, from the perspective of what's called god's-eye view or the perspective of the vacuum, of the formless void. All these things, if you look at it, we have 17 particles, at least 17 quantum fields that our universe is made up of. We're saying our story is that each one of them came along one at time, and out of probably bazillions of other things that came along and got rejected cuz they didn't work. But few of them worked and put together this Look at this. Look at this stinking universe. All the unbelievable complexity comes out of dot, formless void. Okay. That's my religion, and I'm hopefully being very evangelical about it. you got to believe in something and something as simple as completely meaningless lawless formless void essentially nothing. The nothing that can be worked with is the simplest possible thing to have faith in. So the Judeo-Christian Bible tells you in the beginning the world the our universe was without form and it was void. Pretty good story. like it. All right, that's all we're going to do today.
